I have a 2011 Lexus IS350 the starfire pearl white and can confirm, applying the graphene ceramic spray coating was my best decision yet. HOWEVER!! It was extremely difficult because I wasn’t able to see the rainbow effect that happens when you apply it so I wasn’t quite sure when the proper time was to wipe away with the towel.
Hi there, a quick tip is to put a little bit of the coating on a side window at the same time as the body panel - you can usually see the rainbow effect very easily on glass, especially if it is a tinted rear window.
One thing I would like to add to the conversation along with the polishing of white paint, is to keep the black trim/tires clean and as black as possible.
If the car has already been coating with our Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating, you could use Graphene Detail Spray or CS3 to increase shine and gloss as a maintenance spray and wipe.
Hi, I would to ask. I heard you mentioned that using Graphene Ceramic Coating is good but what about the normal ceramic coating spray similar to the one you were using? Just without Graphene?
Thank you for this video! I have a 2022 F 150 in space white (kinda grayish white). Do you recommend iron spray on it? I just ordered the Adams graphene ceramic advanced. Excited to use it, but want to do it right. Can I use it on the black wheels too?
Great question! If you take a few drops of our Polish on a microfiber towel and then lightly rub the towel into the paint, if you see the color of the paint transfer into the towel, then this indicates that it is a single stage paint without a clear coat. If you have no color transfer into the paint, then it is clear coated. You can do a very similar process for aluminum wheels - if you use some of our metal polish on aluminum and it turns the aluminum and the towel black, then it is raw aluminum without a clear coat.
Yes, if the paint is feeling rough, you would clay it in the same process as other vehicles, using our pink Detail Spray as a lubricant for the clay bar or clay mitt.
Adam likes to recommend the 3" polisher for customers that have never used a random orbital before. Yes it takes considerably longer to do an entire vehicle, but it is lighter, more maneuverable, and less intimidating for someone that has never used a polisher before, plus more friendly on the wallet. It's great for an enthusiast or hobbyist that doesn't necessarily need to do their entire vehicle in one session. If you're detailing for money, then absolutely grab the SK Pro 15mm (5.5")👍
@@AdamsPolishes That’s what I’m gonna buy for my first time polishing. Plus, I have a small car. Plus I’m a small 60 year old female. I’ve got the time but not the upper body strength - lol.
Finally someone who really explains how to polish white paint
Not technically polishing the paint just the clear coat by removing oxidisation which makes the white underneath seem dull
Maybe the best video yet. I just got 2 brand new white Acura's. Now I n\know how to go at it.Thank you
finally, a video just for me!
I have both a white car, and a 3 inch DA polisher.
Great video, I have a 98 Alpine White BMW that I polish once a year and with White paint it has a warm glow to it.
You had me at 4th Gen 4Runner. Lol... Thank you for this video!

Very good tip, had the same issue myself

@adamspolishes How often should iron remover be used? And, does the iron remover also remove the wax if I have used wax rather than ceramic coating?
I agree with all of this, but to finish all of this off use Slick & Slide! Gamechanger on my truck
Excellent video. How do you increase the gloss on white paint car with advance grapheme ceramic coating?

White can be a challenge for sure. Solid tips.
is polish preferable on white cars over ceramic? Or is it more of a personal choice?
Some white vehicles do not have clear coat, like a few Toyotas. How to test for that difference?

Insane that Adams pushes the use of a 3 inch polisher to polish an entire vehicle.
