MAINE, USA - Welcome to the coast of Maine in New England, USA, one of the world’s best lobster destinations. This is the first part of the ultimate lobster and lobster roll tour of Maine! I can’t wait to share all the amazing lobsters, the juicy lobster rolls, and the amazing scenery of Maine with you.

In this first video of lobster roll eating in Maine, we went to 4 different places along the coast, a few amazing lobster shacks, and a few lobster pounds - which is the term used for waterfront shacks that have live lobsters.
Five Islands Lobster Co - $19.95 per normal roll (we got the Big Boy for $44 per lobster roll) (goo.gl/maps/EFnXaMSmWMkyynsW8) - Welcome to Five Islands Lobster Co, located in a spectacular location overlooking five islands. You can get their lobster rolls and their boiled lobsters, both are excellent choices. You are guaranteed extremely fresh lobsters from local fishermen.
Day's Crabmeat & Lobster - $57.61 for all lobsters (goo.gl/maps/suG8EafZ8ahDUrds7) - Next, we go to Day's Crabmeat & Lobster, which is a lobster pound on the highway that has live lobsters. We got there a little too early, so they weren’t yet making lobster rolls, but we made our own. Again, you’re guaranteed fresh lobsters here.
Red's Eats - $32.75 per roll (goo.gl/maps/zLpBokuuUZVBPXzk6) - Red's Eats is probably the most famous lobster roll shack in the world, an iconic white and red shack on the corner of the road. Their lobster rolls are known for being huge and overstuffed, which is no joke. Their lobster rolls are legendary and great, but to me they didn’t taste as fresh as the other places. It was huge and fun to eat, but not the best.
McLoons Lobster Shack - $22.95 per roll (goo.gl/maps/7KWtPmr7SJUHAoQe9) - Finally we drove out to McLoons Lobster Shack. First of all, located on an island, it’s one of the most beautiful locations for any lobster shack in Maine. The lobsters are kept in the seawater so again they are guaranteed to be fresh. But the real difference here is that the lobsters are steamed instead of boiled for your lobster roll. Jeffrey and I both agreed, best lobster rolls we’d ever had.
An amazing day eating Maine lobster, and many more lobsters and lobster rolls to come!

Mark, my wife and I watched this video Saturday around lunchtime. We immediately left Pennsylvania and made the 10 hour trip to Mcloon’s and we are sitting here waiting for them to open!!! Thank you for sharing this video experience, definitely inspired us to travel spontaneously to get the best fresh main lobster and the best lobster rolls in Maine
I’m also in Pennsylvania my husband is on a video call so you can’t watch this with me. But I’m going to share it’s him after maybe he can treat me to the wonderful Lobster 10 hours away. I’ll see you. Wish me luck!
A
what a wonderful compliment!!!! hope you guys enjoyed!
I'm in south Jersey, my son and I are thinking about flying up to the area next spring and spending two or three days in the area sampling lobster. Anyone have an idea about the best (and cheapest) airport to fly into from Philly?

I work at five islands and sadly I wasn’t working this day, I’ve been watching you for years and was so excited to hear you visited us! Hope it was all amazing and they treated you good!
I heard that the bathrooms could be a lil cleaner
So cool, thank you very much, would have loved to meet you!

Oh - I've been meaning to say this for the longest time - your vlogs have always made some of my worst days turn into my best ones; whether it be your larger than life positive attitude, your reactions to each first bite, your hearty love for food and travel or the beautiful shots you take in your environment. They always turn my tears into smiles. Thanks, Mark, for sharing what you love 🙂
💖💓💞
She took the words out of my mouth. You lift people up, Mark. It's like magic. Keep on eating!
It's true. I love how he not only appreciates each and every type of cuisine but also truly enjoys each experience.
I play a drinking game with how many times Mark says "oh wow" in every video lol the food looks awesome 👌
I'd be passed out b4 the video is over!!
Riiiigggghhhhtttt, he says, that quite a bit....
Oh wow
Oh my goodnight
I'm originally from Portland, Maine! My mother used to make lobster fried rice all the time. 🙌
Woman: Are you on vacation?
Mark: yess... visiting and eating
Jeffrey: laughs... working☺️😂
If I knew a UA-camr was coming to my restaurant, especially one with 7M+ followers, I would 100% make him a lobster roll even though I don’t serve them until 11AM...
I know right the guy dropped the ball on that one...
Yes, they seem so disinterested, too. The Georgetown place seemed much friendlier.
Agreed!!!
I was pretty shocked myself
Relax. Why would they change their routine for some youtuber. Dude probably doesn't even know what youtube is or home many subscribers he has.
I consider this video to be the best of Mark’s work since a long time. So good to see you back in travelling 👍🏻
It’s the same as every video I’ve seen
Was hoping some hobo greeted him with a bat.
I'm loving these US videos. Jeffrey is an awesome companion, he really adds a tonne to the videos. Mark is the best when he has someone to play off of, esp someone who loves food as much as him.
Jeffrey and Joel are the best with Mark
@@StrongStyleNinja did Joel ever film a series with Jeffrey?
@@matthewrenshaw I don’t recall if Joel ever did one with Jeffery. But I’ve seen them both in Mark videos.
Thank you very much Matthew, Jeffrey is awesome and hilarious!
@@MarkWiens Just discovered your channel recently. You and Jeffrey are great. Keep up the great work, Mark.
This man is living my dream. God bless his heart.
I think Mark is the dream of many people and of course me too!😁
I like how the last restaurant keeps the lobster in the sea until ready to cook. Fireman's Seafood in Negril keeps their lobster/crab in the sea as well. It's the best 🦀 I've ever had. 💯
I wanna know how he travels so much
I grew up in Massachusetts and have been living in Texas for a 10 years. Watching this brings back so many great memories. It's wonderful to think of those better times, especially in times like these. It makes me homesick lol, time to make a trip. Definitely will be grabbing a lobster 🦞 or two, and maybe even a clam bake on cabbage island in Maine.

*Wow, I went to bed, and I saw you eating and I became hungry! Who is hungry again?* 👍🏻⟭⟬🇰🇷💜
A buddy and I did this about 10 yrs ago. Can never have too much good lobster roll. We also enjoyed having blueberry pancakes for breakfast everyday and made a game out of who made the best Lobster Roll and Blueberry Pancakes. Glad you enjoyed!
Part of why Maine lobster is the best in the world, is Maine itself.
Maine is just a beautiful beautiful state.
its not the best its just the most popular
I want to go to Maine one day and try the lobster. It looks so freaking amazing!! 🦞
Hi where are you from
i never had lobsteR before does it taste good?

I LOVE the lean!
You forgot:
stuff the mouth
talk with your mouth open
smack lips while chewing

Literally the main reason I look for these videos !
Accurate!
Oh no, Mark has raised demand and prices of Maine lobster over night! Also bringing more tourists to Maine. That state owes you!
Good to see you in USA! Love your food travel, you make us feel we are having fun with your group/family.
Omg!!!!..so close mark..come to boston!!.) I'm so glad you made it over here..not used to seeing you in USA.. enjoy!!
I'm bostonian too
Boston is the ONLY city I love. I’ve been all over the world and for the states, Boston is ❤️
I don't think i've salivated this much watching a video in several years, or ever.
I'm having lobster within the week, my cravings have never been this high.
Your reactions are absolutely genuine!! Thanks for this video
PERFECTION!!!...@ Mark trying to assist the piece of Lobster hanging from his mouth by taking another bite of the sandwich and getting it all in LOL!. That's how you control a mouthful of good food, and no one does it better than mark.
So great seeing Mark in a new place eating different foods. I love Thailand, but after seeing Mark only in Thailand for a year, these vlogs are refreshing. Love Thai food, but Mark is now showing delicious foods from other parts of the world! 😋
He always has.
Just new episodes....
"We've had better." I appreciate their honesty.
I agree and it was the most expensive one at $33.00 or so per roll.....yikes.
@@marilynalvarez9951
yeah i noticed that. and the best one out of all of them, the steamed lobster at the end was cheaper only about $22

Jeffrey is the perfect funny sidekick for Mark. These lobsters are definitely triple headrollers.
When Jeffrey stuffs lobster into his face his eyes bulge and the face turns a bright red mirroring the color of the lobster itself and a piece of lobster goes up his nostril. Marks eyes bulge, he stuffs his mouth even more and we get the head roll.
Thanks for sharing this time with us and showing the difference berween boiled and steamed lobster. I am loving you are here in the States!! 👍🥰

Mr Mark Wiens. I love your show. I believe your one of a few people that inherited the food and culture discovery bundle that Anthony Bourdain established.

To much attitude at that one lobster restaurant. Mark is such a nice guy and doing a service, he doesnt desrve that shade.

Five Islands is my jam! I enjoyed a nearly 5lb lobster while there. I never thought I'd get tired of eating lobster but that experience changed my mind...for a day.
Julia Child said anything over 3lbs is a waste, lol... Good eats!
@@muzettejones3002 I agree, the big ones aren't as tender, but I wanted to be able to say that I ate a nearly 5lb lobster one day and that day was today. I'll never forget the crowd that I attracted that wanted to see if I could finish it. When I did eventually finish, I looked down and my hands glistened with butter mixed with blood from the many cuts I sustained from that huge shell and a gentleman from the next table over shouted in the most northeastern accent, "Proud of ya!" At that moment I giggled and thought, it was all worth it.
Mark
I’ve been watching your show foe years and you’re one of my heroes!
I’m a retired Pastor who went on a missions trip to Bangkok a few years ago! I love your shows and on my bucket list is for my wife and I to go with you on one of your tours but I’m poor lol. Thanks for such a great show! You have a beautiful family!
Reds Eats is THE best lobster roll!! Their sweet potato fries are to die for too! 💙💙💙
I'm a Bostonian and lobster is my absolute favorite seafood. That looks so fun. I'm due for a day trip.
Luke's Lobster of Boston and Maine also has Jonah crabmeat rolls. Their crab is as good as the Dungeness where I come from. (I have no connection with them.)
Massholes. Please stay in Mass 😁
Oh wow. A Lobster roll a hot bottle of piss.
The acrid piss taste of the pee. The freshness and lobstery taste of the lobster. The bready roll taste of the fresh baked bread roll it. Tastes like lobster , piss and bread.

I'm sitting here in Queens NY and I can practically smell the fresh ocean air while watching you eat those luxurious morsels of Maine's finest lobsters. Thanks, even though I'm jealous and salivating. Great one, Mark.
Same here in Austria. I have a candle light dinner with a canned fish and i watch this , that´s not fair.

Hello Beautiful how are you doing today hope you and your family are keeping safe in this pandemic
I love you guys! I literally tasted the lobster rolls through your descriptions and reactions! Absolutely the best Lobster-Roll VIDEO! Thank you 😋
I kind of saw a lot of the nicest places early on in life... you know, California, NYC, Florida, Cuba, Mexico, Italy, France, Spain etc. When I took a tour to the upper-east coast I was pleasantly surprised tho. I very much enjoyed Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I especially liked the classic Americana-style colonial era towns with red white and blue ribbons everywhere as well as the rocky beaches with clear blue water. Of course, the Lobster was the best part of the trip. I could sit by a Maine pier eating lobster and sipping beer all day, and I did exactly that :)
New England is Beautiful so is Pennsylvania.
Mark is literally living my dream life😩🤍
Mark in the USA makes me so happy! Love him in New England especially!!
I love how mark was using one hand and didn’t drop anything meanwhile Jeffry was using 2 hands but dropped some lobster
I like Jeffery too because he says what he likes!!
Mark Maine’s coastal communities are a fantastic vacation for all visitors.
If you have the opportunity I recommend your family vacation to include Moosehead Lake and specifically the friendly village of Greenville which is the gateway to the Great North Woods and fantastic wildlife and wilderness adventures with 5 star dining and accommodations.
Welcome to Maine buddy !!!
Thank you very much, I really wish we had more time in Maine, so beautiful!
Wow! Thanks for the recommendations!! I need to plan a trip there!

All of these look amazing! I haven't had lobster in ages but you've made me really hungry for it now Mark! Thanks for another great video. all of these videos do not represent reality from prices to portions. States and countries tourism board provide flight meals hotels and takes him to certain spots.
Where he gets an absurd amount of food for a price that is much higher.
Apart from being a cartoon character that’s why you will never hear him not only say a negative but everything is delicious. Always.
He’s basically a new age media whore.
For instance he ate crab lungs on accident and. Giant poop sack from this massive snail and they were trying to tell him to remove it. And he popped it in his mouth and the people all covered there eyes and shook there head when he acted how wonderful it is. While eating a massive turd
How was it?
