May the news channels take the cue and promote such normal, calm, composed political conversations like this one. You have raised very open, honest questions especially the ones about dynastic politics.
As a 2021 Gold Medalist graduate of Mechanical Engineering from a very reputable institute of Pakistan, I'm still jobless. No matter how positive he may sound on the program (or on paper), I have lost hope in this system. Whether it was Khans, Sharifs, or Zardaris, the result has always been the same. I just started listening to this. Have a point to make. I really respect ahsan sab. But, The cases built on him & his fellows was an attempt from the establishment to promote pti, & not by ik only. But he'll refrain from taking actions against main culprits ( bajwa, faiz etc) to make sure this never happens in future, why? But ahsan sab won't blame establishment. Plus From 2013-18: Almost 0% grow in exports, Almost all the power projects by pmln were non renewable, i.e. producing electricity from imported fuel, that is now causing huge import bills. & he himself said ik should've gone to imf earlier in 2018, is this their performance that they themselves advising next gov to go to imf again?? & Im not a pti supporter. Period.
He's kinda right. Never gave a single thought to ever vote for PMLN as a Karachiite. Have always instinctively thought of them as one of the good old corrupt parties who didn't do anything when they had power, even though I'm not politically active and don't know shit. May have to rethink stuff. Enjoyed this convo a lot!
They had 35 years in power. They were in power when Imran khan was just a cricketer and he is trying to convince the public Pakistan is in such a state because of Imran khan. And I can't believe people are actually thinking about it.
4500 trillion rupees. Where the hell did all this money go. And this doesn't include a single dollar USA gave us for the past 23 years. Which is billions of dollars. The IMF is saying we will only give you money after you show the tax returns of your army generals and judges and these leaders because they can see what has happened to all the money they have given us. And that is something these people can't do because if they do that it will be clear where all the money went.
@@hamzaabdulsattar9690 since they are one with the establishment every year of Pakistans existence except the 3 and a half years Imran khan was in power. I was being nice by saying 35. If you want to count they will be 71 and a half years. Pakistan had more money than India in the 1980's. And then came nawaz sharif benazir and musharraf. Musharraf was lucky because he got dollars to become a target killer for the Americans and 10 years before him and 10 years after him these both had power , nawaz sharif even had two third majority for 5 years and still it's all Imran khan fault. Your rite. The day he was removed from power our country was growing by 6%, and it has not even been a year since he left and now default is the only thing anyone is talking about. Shebaz Sharif didn't care when our country was flooded but postponed the all party conference twice because he couldn't wait to go to Turkey because of the earthquakes in their country. And he didn't want to send a rescue team to Turkey he was planning to go himself with bilawal but the Turkish government told him to basically f off. I can keep on going.
@@hamzaabdulsattar9690 by PMLN I meant PDM. Sorry you didn't realize in your privilege but for the past year all of these party's are one. Eventhough shebaz was supposed to drag zardari on the streets and get the money out ,they are together exactly how Imran said in his first address to the nation after becoming prime minister. Almost each and every thing he said in that address in 2018 has happened to the dot. How about you watch that again and then compare it to what has happened in the past year.
@@hamzaabdulsattar9690 3 terms for nawaz as prime minister. Sindh has been under ppp since the martial law ended. And Punjab has been with PMLN when ppp had the centre. So combined these people have ruled Pakistan for over 35 years. And even if you only count 1990 to 1999 and 2008 to 2018 that is still 6 times more than Imran. But no everything wrong with Pakistan is somehow imrans fault
Not interested in watching the full podcast but as far I have watched, I've realized that you always use wording that appeal your honorable guests which in this case is Ahsan Iqbal. Not a huge fan of PTI but the way you said: "PTI zaleel hokar, narrative bech kar ye hokar woh hokar Parliament Jana chah rahi thi to ap ny roka kyun". Nothing wrong with the question as such but the wording is problematic and may offend PTI folks straightaway. Secondly, you rarely challenge the logics presented by the guests which I think is wrong cuz he said many things controversial and you just passed by them with a grin. I hope that you take it as a healthy suggestion instead of taking a screenshot of this comment and posting it on your Twitter saying youthiye asli account sai ao.
@@ThePakistanExperience your counter to his defence of dynastic politics was poor. You could have doubled down on it. It’s deeper than ‘every engineer’s son wants to be an engineer’ and I believe you know that..
@@ThePakistanExperience You should better sort that out by yourself. As I said, I didn't watch the full episode but as far as I 've watched, that doctor ka beta doctor and engineer ka beta engineer wala logic is the one which I disagree with and I guess the majority would too. I know that you know what is wrong, that's not what an unbiased podcast looks like. It is no different from Muzammil zaidi's podcast with Moonis elahi. You pretend to be better then him, you should work on being better than him.
@@ThePakistanExperience I didn't think his argument about competence/being filtered out was true. We've seen these parties make massive technical blunders yet still preserve their vote. Secondly, it's quite convenient that all these "competent" people are born to families already holding power and wealth. Apart from a few families/individuals, almost the entirety of Pakistan can't compete for these positions so, how is their competence even being tested? All of that being said, I can understand that the conversation has to flow and you can't be too confrontational/get bogged down on a single point.
@@ThePakistanExperience You could have countered his competence remarks with Dar's appointment. What competence does he have as an accountant and NS's relative to hold such an important position?
We have short term memory loss issue on a national level. Why do we keep forgetting that PMLN and PPP are the parties accused each other of corruption at their level best. How come on face of this earth they're both absolutely clean and Khan alone is responsible for poor economic conditions. Bhai... Maro muje maro
If Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah ismail and any other speak against party policies, it must not be construed as rebellion or mutiny, but their democratic right. It should rather be encouraged so that party policies get better. I would be disappointed if Mr Abbasi or Ismail are made to leave PML-N.
Opponents are still under the misconception that IK was created and propelled by establishment. People are attracted towards an alternative because PMLN and PPP have not given Pakistan anything. Pakistan is in this dire situation because of PMLN and PPP. PTI would have probably died if PDM had allowed PTI to complete its term. Why was it necessary to come in power when PTI was on the downtrend?

@@ThePakistanExperience next time if you invite the minister or former minister So, please ask question about whenever Pakistan take loans from other countries or banks, so why Pakistan didn't spend those money on infrastructure like education, providing internet at a free cost so student can learn from UA-cam, business opportunity, startups and much more but Pakistan does spend loan money on giving subsidies I know subsidies are important but on a limited basis. India also face these types of things in 1991 but we managed with the help of Prime Minister and finance minister but why current government is not capable of doing that?

a big lol to his answer on political dynasty..
Although I disagree with some points he made and think Ahsan Iqbal is a very good liar, he made some good points and was an interesting listen. What I fail to understand is our politicians know what the problems are and know what needs to be done to get the country on a better trajectory, why does it not happen? Structural obstacles? vested interests? God knows.. Lets hope one day we can build a prosperous country.
First and foremost, we need to get rid of our bureaucracy. It is an old system inherited from the Britains which has clearly failed.

Some of the person that I respect in PMLN
Shehzad bhai mai idhar view dy diya karunga paka wada, par simultaneously upload krdiya corona audio platforms py please
Both are my favorite ❤️
Go back into history when Binazer was in islamabad and Nawaz was in province
Malik Riaz was the most tough question.
I really respect ahsan sab.
But,
The cases built on him & his fellows was an attempt from the establishment to promote pti, & not by ik only. But he'll refrain from taking actions against main culprits ( bajwa, faiz etc) to make sure this never happens in future, why?
But ahsan sab won't blame
establishment.
Plus
From 2013-18:
Almost 0% grow in exports,
Almost all the power projects by pmln were non renewable, i.e. producing electricity from imported fuel, that is now causing huge import bills.
& he himself said ik should've gone to imf earlier in 2018, is this their performance that they themselves advising next gov to go to imf again??
& Im not a pti supporter. Period.
Shehzad bhai you should do a podcast with Mian Nawaz Sharif
Only nawaaz Sharif can maintain good relationship with India
Sir big respect and conducted better than most famous compares, bro love you😂❤👍
He's kinda right.
Talking about we should collaborate but is refusing to have elections held which is the only way anything can work for this country
@@ThePakistanExperience This time I watched more than 30 minutes of the video but I am working on it and surely I'll improve.
I am still using the same laptop. Sir
I like Ahsan Iqbal...
"aik middle class ka mein noujawaan tha" Shehzad bhai yahaa tou sab hi middle class walay aarahay hai
Changing the name from Pakistan experience to " PMLn experience" makes sense
One minute silence for poor Pakistanis.....🤦🤦
These Pakistani Army Generals Politicians & Judges are looting pakistan....🙃
If Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah ismail and any other speak against party policies, it must not be construed as rebellion or mutiny, but their democratic right. It should rather be encouraged so that party policies get better. I would be disappointed if Mr Abbasi or Ismail are made to leave PML-N.
Haha her mother was MNA and he said , I cone from a middle class family 😂😂😂😂
Opponents are still under the misconception that IK was created and propelled by establishment. People are attracted towards an alternative because PMLN and PPP have not given Pakistan anything. Pakistan is in this dire situation because of PMLN and PPP.
PTI would have probably died if PDM had allowed PTI to complete its term.
Why was it necessary to come in power when PTI was on the downtrend?
Khuram Dastgeer Son of Gulam Dastgeer former MNA from Gujranwala
Shahid Khaqan Abaasi from Famous Abaasi family from Murree
His mother was MNA, no young first politician exist in PML-N.
Bhai good podcast.
@@ThePakistanExperience😊
@@ThePakistanExperience next time if you invite the minister or former minister So, please ask question about whenever Pakistan take loans from other countries or banks, so why Pakistan didn't spend those money on infrastructure like education, providing internet at a free cost so student can learn from UA-cam, business opportunity, startups and much more but Pakistan does spend loan money on giving subsidies I know subsidies are important but on a limited basis.
India also face these types of things in 1991 but we managed with the help of Prime Minister and finance minister but why current government is not capable of doing that?
