@ Goff is good against the blitz but he’s not consistent. We in fact need some youth on that O line. Each year Ragnow and Decker are getting older. The defenses around the league has gotten faster and Goff can’t extend plays. Hes a good pocket passer but his window is closing with more mobil QBs entering the league. We really need to win it NOW

Hutch was dominating on his side, even getting double teamed and he still had more sacks on the team even being out that long. Imagine if he didn’t get hurt. I’d keep him on his original side and Max should still be a beast on the other side
Hey guys! With all that you said, I wish there was a way. But, I’m in your ship and thinking we do not have that kind of money. The only way possible would be that St Brown, Goff, Sewell, and even Hutch in his upcoming contract to restructure their deals and take pay cuts. And I do not think it’s realistic. One good point I want to make is this, we really do not know how well Zadarius Smith will produce with Hutch opposite end from him. He may be able to produce more and enough to make us better and good enough to get over the hump. Face it he really did not have any help this season. He was put in a tough situation and he never has been or will be like a top end pass rusher. But, with a healthy Hutch, Reader, and McNeil he could surprise and be really effective. To be honest I’m tired of the blame game after coming up short this year…everyone once to place the blame on someone. It was a collective loss by the team, coaches and players. I like the latest hires with Morton and Shaw. Our 2025 team will be focused on play action running the ball with 2 of the better backs in the league along with talented and reliable possession receivers for Goff to hit! Focus needs to be on strengthening our defensive front along with securing our players that need to be resigned. Let’s turn the page…Go Lions!
Pete Carroll might want a fresh start and get a lot of draft picks. Just like Jimmy Johnson did with Herschel Walker. Sometimes one player can get traded for a whole mess of players that makes the whole team better and just having one elite defensive end isn't going to help the raiders

Trade him with a 4th and you could have Crosby OR for Hooker + Jamo straight up. You have two world-class DEs who are on the field 90%+ snaps if healthy? Easy decision. Then you can spend a 1st or 2nd on a WR.
There’s other Edges we can get. However if Maxx wants to come to Detroit then he will have to back down on the cash. We will be getting something like 30 mil more but we do have to pay our Boyz.
