I remember seeing Dan Campbell as a TE coach for the dolphins on hard knocks back in 2012, screaming at his players "If you drop a pass, its ok but GO FUCKING BLOCK FOR HIM" For decades dating back to his playing days, his MO has been winning blocks and driving at the point of contact. When they drafted ASB in 2021, they celebrated not just getting a good slot receiver, but "perhaps one of the best run blockers in the draft"; when they interviewed JaMo at the combine, they pulled up Special Teams block highlights and questioned him until he said "that's always how I play football, even back at Ohio State"; when they interviewed LaPorta at the combine, they get a special kick out of him saying "I enjoy physically dominating someone"; and when Josh Paschal said "go through his face", they said they love the sound of that. Just pure grit all the way around on this team. "Yea we got all these injuries, so fort the guys who are left we think about us not letting their sacrifice go in vain". Gritty, can-do attitude. It's baked into the DNA of this team and it's why they've been able to withstand the myriad injuries this season.

That flea flicker to Sam Laporta td is def my favorite lions td all year. It’s hilarious when he dives into the end zone because it’s like he knows he doesn’t run that fast and homeboy was right on his ass so he had to make a split second decision lol

When it’s all said n done, make Jamry Gibbs the highest paid running back. 4 years 100 million. With a ten million signing bonus. N incentives up to twenty million. He earned it. Pay that kid. Don’t let him get away n the front office won’t. Because they built a championship team. We gone see our city possibly win the Super Bowl this year if they stay healthy.
He has 2 years to go before the Lions have to re-sign him. For now, we can enjoy him on his rookie contract and keep paying for the elite front line that gives him the lanes to run though.
