You're going to love this. There's also a video on a Chicago Bears UA-cam channel with Dennis Allen being interviewed and saying that he was contacted by Ben Johnson "later in the season" to see if he would be interested in the DC job in Chicago. Putting a theoretical timeline together, Johnson may have known for sure he was getting/taking the Chicago HC job as early as when Eberflus was fired.
Understand your way of thinking Steve but you need JMO on this team. His ability makes us the way we are. I was on the fence on him since his injury in coming into the league but every year he's improved and shown why he was drafted in the first round. Great player and mark my words will be up there with the Randy moss, Jerry Rice, Herman Moores, MegaTron, Carters.
I’m thinking they want to make sure Hutches leg is good before they pay him , they sign Jamo because he’s cheaper this year compared to next if he balls out . And Kirby might get traded . Year after next they would have to be paying him and branch . And nobody has two 20 mill safeties. Brads a very proactive business man . He’s drafted good enough that not everyone is going to get paid .
I don't know about Jamo. He has dropped some passes this year, he has blown his own routes. He has fallen down several times just getting going on a route numerous times. The dude is FAST! I don't know if he is football smart, though. He doesn't protect the ball, and doesn't seem to have QB or situation awareness. He seems to be a fast threat that CAN blow up and run away from a defender, but he screws up A LOT. I think it is a much safer bet to push his deal off a year and say prove you have what it takes to be a grown up football player that is a total threat. If you have to pay him some more and you know he fits the bill, so be it. Rather do that than pay a kid a little less now to lock him in just to find out he continues to screw up on or off the field. Or watch him get hurt "diving" into the endzone needlessly with no one around him and he get a season ending injury!
Coaches in the line offense or defense make about 250K to 400K a Coordinator makes 1 million average! So your doubling your pay or better! That is why all these guys jump ship for a raise!
Hutch is coming off a life altering injury. His future performance ability and success is still to be determined. I love the guy. But let’s accept the reality and read the situation before we offer him the moon.
@@DetroitDen313 He was injured in college too. I get it, he’s a franchise guy. But it’s still fairly questionable, unfortunately. Love your guys content! Keep it up.
I'm happy to see your channel gaining momentum. I enjoy you two!
Glad you’re along for the ride!
I didn't realize i wasn't subscribed. I watch all your videos. Just subscribed now.
Appreciate the support! Go Lions
Kirby to the JETS scares me. AG is going to be sitting back with a money gun...

I like Joseph as much as saint brown!
David Shaw is a really *GOOD* coach -- great hire!!!
The offseason of Defense BRILLIANT!
Good show Gents & agrees hutch & kirby have to sign
The Lions are a really good team -- so now they have high-class problems: coaches getting poached and players wanting $$$ In Holmes we trust!
If we don’t extend contracts for Kerby Joseph and Hutch I will riot.
The kindest of Lions fans are the ones who LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE.

Restructure contracts is the way to fit in the Cap!
Hearing great things and seeing great things about manu are two different things

Chicago yes he is!
Dam is that Verners!!! I have not had one in 35 years~ !
Yessir :)
Get Hutch some help in the offseason ... along with extending his contract.
There shouldn’t be a question about JMo!! Need him!!! He’s a playmaker- you guys must be smoking something!!!
Do you think they could get a 1st for Kirby after his 7int season?

I would be making absolute sure the injury Aiden experienced will not come back to bite later. You guys did not even talk about it.
If Aiden is healthy, I don't think 5 yrs $200 million is out of the question.
Why pay Hutch use his 5th year option. See how he comes back from devastating injury for the next 2 years.
Glasgow should be a coach
I saw a guy say "in the last 20 years only 4 guys have ran 4.2's in the combine. JMo is one of them."
Jamo didn’t run at the combine. He was still injured from the college national championship
Offer Jamo 3 years @ $18 million or play out the 5th year option.

Oh boy all this money better hope we don't have a Matthew Stafford Megatron Ndamukong Suh issue when it comes to money

If you’re iffy about Iffy’s health, you should apply this same logic to 97.
Hutch never missed a game until a freak accident. Completely different

I hope someone decides to take a bit less money to stay with the Lions and help bring a championship to Detroit!
"Less Money" is relative -- none of these guys is living on Hamburger Helper.
And this is why your opinions don't even matter lol
O line is not a luxury with a immobile QB
Facts
Lose Glasgow - not great!!!
Wondering if he’s hurt , his production definitely dropped off at the end of the season
