Nice work!!! I'm about to start a fabric wrap on an old telecaster I have and it's always great to see examples. Also nice to see a 12 string build... the guys in the band "Temples" play 12-strings all the time and I could totally see one of them playing this guitar. The demo... sounds like it's straight out of OG Diablo!
Love the build. Some great techniques and processes shown. If I may offer some advice, I feel that using a solid table for your sander, drill and bandsaw, with them strongly secured would make your life easier.
Everything is amazing the only thing I would have done differently is route all the pockets on the body before putting the fabric or route a relief on the pocket edges so we can do so form of fabric fold in with small binding so to have a cleaner pocket line. The pockets look ruff on this build.
Thank you Tellurian the child worked good and hard at this build. If you have the will and take your time you can accomplice wonders with small means =)
great build. love the fabric cover as a paint job, and love the led fret markers, guitar sounds really good, looks like it plays vary well also. honestly your's, and 1 other are the best builds ive seen this year. the mask you weir is perfect for that guitar also.
Everything looks good. Except the upside down headstock string NUT. The action will always suck With the octave string on Top of the TONIC string. In 12 strings That is why Only Rickenbacker nuts work and fret flawlessly. It's easy to create your own You will be extremely happy You did.
Tellurian the child did make the nut from scratch in the video (check out individual episodes from the series if you want a more detailed look) If you reverse the strings on an already cut nut you will have the problem you are describing. Having made and cut the nut for the specific strings it will cause no issue. as you make the nut for the preferred octave above or octave below. both ways work and is more a matter of preference but not to change between unless you are re-cutting the nut if we wanted them the other way around we would have cut the nut accordingly. Therefore we have had no issue with the action on this build =) glad you enjoy Rickenbackers they are lovely guitars sincerely Animus
i build my guitars out of a bunch of pieces of reclaimed wood too, but guitarists are such snobs that they wont buy them for more than a few hundred dollars unless i premium cuts of wood. they think the more joints and more pieces you use the shitttyeer the tone, and thats the furthest thing from the truth about electric solidbody guitars
Beautiful !!
Thank you Tellurian
So nice to see a build without tens of thousands of £/$ worth of tools 😊

That tristram theme was a perfect showcase, beautiful guitar
Thank you Tellurian =)
Awesome job with the build. That piece you played at the end sounded a lot like the town music from Diablo II
Thank you very much Tellurian.
Yes it is the tristram Theme
Diablo and trollull ❤
not so far in-between those two =)
Love the diablo song.
Thank you Tellurian

Mind if I ask what brand of lights you used?
cheapo led diodes from amazon

Pardon my ignorance, but no truss rod?
Hello Tellurian
the guitar has a truss rod
@@ChildofAnimus I enjoy my bass guitars and woodworking, so watching this master craftsman made my day. Thanks for posting.
@@tomlew55 Glad you enjoy it 😀
Diablo II ?
Tristram theme from diablo, it also appears in diablo II
What is that song at the beginning you're playing? I've heard it a thousand times but now I can't remember which game it is.
Diablo - Tristram Theme =)
@@ChildofAnimus thank you! It's all flooding back to me now. I should learn this song. The guitar is sick btw
@@Rodrat Thank you Tellurian
Dentist chair vibes
you must have a fun dentist =)
I'm sure you're aware of Ben's "Nebula" build. Using the same name for GGBO seems.... unwise.
hello Tellurian
did not know about that
great minds think alike I guess =)

yes it is a bit silly
a good guitar is a good guitar and there are hundreds of ways to make a good guitar =)
