      I've build my first DIY guitar using a guitar kit (I'm no carpenter and don't have the proper tooling) and I wanted to experiment a bit with spray cans (also my first time too). Learned a lot about designing and tuning a guitar, intonation, etc. I've uploaded a video on June 16th
      It would be great when you'd check it out and maybe give me some tips and tricks for the next one :)
      Have a great and inspiring evening Michael!

    How did you get the metal pickguard did you cut it or let it get cut for you? if so do you have a file for it.

    • @MichaelLagerstedt
      @MichaelLagerstedt  2 дні тому

      I actually had a friend cut it in a CNC machine at his workplace.
      It’s cut in 3mm aluminium but the Novo guitars are only 1,5 or 2mm, not sure what exact material.

    What stain did you use on the neck before you applied the boiled linseed oil or was that just a boiled linseed oil and if so how many coach did you used to achieve that color

    • @MichaelLagerstedt
      @MichaelLagerstedt  2 роки тому

      Hi, I just used boiled linseed oil and only one coat. But I should have given it 2 or 3 thin coats with 3-4 days drying time between each coat. I’m going to do that soon. The brown colour is because the neck is roasted maple 😉
