      Unlimited data since I have become a UA-cam junkie. Lol
      I switched from Metro to Visible nearly 5 years ago because I wanted to upgrade my phone, but didn't have the money or credit to do so. Metro was then offering an upgrade for $100, which was doable for me, but when I asked about it at their store, of course it was only for new customers. So I thought fine; since your priority is in obtaining new customers and not keeping them, I'll go elsewhere. And I've never looked back. I've been very happy with Visible and have no plans to leave.

      Customer Service is very important to us. unlimited Data , I should have said Coverage first. We've had some bad experiences with Mobile. They wanted us to stay with them even though it didn't work at all in our home! Promising us it will work once the Towers were done being worked on. We were.lird to from the start with T-Mobile. They overcharged us when we 🎉made the f dc vision to leave. When we bought this home, ours burned in the Carr fire. We love it here. It's as cool as a house can get. I have my own Studio on the property right next to our Coy Pond. I can be working and listening to the waterfalls. Very peaceful!
      Ok enough about me. Lol
      I would recommend Visible.
      And have to many.

    I've been with Visible for close to a year! My husband and I have no complaints!
    I've been using my Hotspot regularly because we have no other wifi because of where we live. Hoping we get something soon.
    Customer Service is good and I just heard they hired around 25 new customer service reps! Good for them. In the beginning I would have to wait hours only to get jung up.on !
    Now I'm usually the second person on line. Essy.
    The folks don't always get my jokes and humor but I can live with that.
    The couple, twice my hotspot wa not working correctly it was fixed right away. I've never had a slowdown while streaming.
    I like everything about them
    Thanks Visible for being the best and improving recently.
    That tells me you care about your customers!
    Peace , Deborah Bergen.

    I just signed up for Visible. I’m currently testing the waters. I’ve had Mint Mobile for a year and a half. I’ve never been a fan of the 5GB now 10GB limit on hotspot. I’m also getting started with 5G, so I’m not worried about constantly using LTE. Today made my final decisions when I hit a dead zone for 30 minutes for the first time while traveling.

    I signed up for Mint and am liking it so far. I had Sprint, which merged with T Mobile, and while I had no issues with the service, I like being able to save $30+ a month. I tried their 3 month unlimited service and after checking my data usage, I’m under 5 GB a month since I use wifi a ton and download UA-cam videos. I’m going to renew on their 15 GB plan for 12 months. That saves me $41 a month!! I don’t travel enough to need Vision but videos like this are really helpful when trying to make the decision so thank you!

    My family has been using Visible for 3 years now. The data works well when Verizon towers are available, except in crowded areas, such as in cities and at largely attended live events. Then it slows down. Overall, when traveling, we are able to access data on the road and from hotels. Sometimes it is better than the hotel wifi. For $25 per phone, the unlimited talk, text, and data fits our needs.

    We had T-mobile for slightly less than a year. Coverage in rural Florida was horrible. We switched to Visible a few months ago and coverage is excellent when traveling across rural Florida. Plus we have the basic plan for $25 and added on cellular Apple Watch’s for only $5 extra. So for $30/month total all fees included it’s the best option for us. Visible using the Verizon network is the best we’ve experienced while traveling with our RV. We use hotspot to feed the iPads on the road. Also stream audio to the car flawlessly. With T-Mobile network there were numerous dead spots.

    Fantastic review! I just subscribed and look forward to checking out more of your videos 👍 I'm about to switch our phone service from AT&&T to Mint Mobile because of the family plan offering and unlimited data. We'll start with the 3-month plan and see how it goes, but based on your review, it sounds like both Mint and Visible are excellent options. I'm a longtime AT&T customer and I like their service and performance, but I can no longer justify the cost. I figure it can't hurt to switch and most likely, it will be a tremendous help.

      Thanks, we're glad to have you. :) They are both good choice, in our opinion. We personally like Visible by a hair, but it's really tough to beat Mint Mobile on pure price - especially if you don't need loads of data.

      @eburney68 Рік тому +1

      @@FrugalRules I’m not sure how much data we actually need, but the 12GB our family of three (including our 16-year-old daughter) is currently sharing isn’t enough. Because the price is so low, we’ll each start out with unlimited and I’ll track our usage during the 3-month period. If it’s too much, we’ll adjust on the next one.

    • @matthewjbauer1990
      @matthewjbauer1990 Рік тому +1

      @@eburney68 I just switched to Mint unlimited from AT&T. I was on a family plan with 35GB per month with rollover. The benefit of going to Mint from AT&T over Visible is that you can keep your AT&T phone (unlocked) like I did and use it with Mint without having to buy a new phone. Just make sure that you call AT&T and have them remove the port out protection (requires you to reply to a text on your AT&T line to authorize the port, something you can't do if you have only 1 phone). The downside to going with Mint unlimited is that data speeds aren't as fast as their limited data plans. Also on the unlimited plan, they limit video streaming to 480p max. I may switch to another carrier once my 3 month unlimited plan is over simply because I really can't take advantage of the unlimited data since its slow and 480p video.

      @@matthewjbauer1990 Thank you for the feedback! We're on our second month with Mint now and so far, so good. My wife, daughter and I each have the unlimited data.I have noticed slightly slower speeds when I'm using data out in the wild, but good enough for my needs. My wife and daughter are pleased, too. And we're saving a crapton of $, so it's a win for us at this point. I may switch at some point, but with only a 3-month commitment, it'll be a good sample size to see if we want to stick with it.

    The CHEAPEST regular price T-Mobile service provider is TELLO. Why pay more for Mint? Mint shows a 3 month intro price, but then it goes up. My wife and I try to use WiFi when available, so we only buy 500 MB and 1 GB of data respectfully. Our bills, with taxes, are just over $9 and $10 a month. My daughter uses Visible, because she wants Verizon’s network, and it does seem to be the cheapest way to use that network.

    I had done some extensive research on both carriers, but for some strange reason, Visible said my Samsung A71 5G phone was not compatible. That was a deal breaker. Mint being purchased by T-Mobile worries me a bit, plus I don't like having to pay for a year in advance to get much benefit. Since I don't use much data, I decided on another MVNO that leases from T-Mobile called Tello for a 2 GB plan. If you renew a day before your plan expires, the data carries over, so there is a cushion for periods when you are away from WiFi. If I felt I needed unlimited data and needed a new phone anyway, I agree that Visible offers a good deal along with greater flexibility than Mint.

    • @FrugalRules
      @FrugalRules  Рік тому +3

      Hm, that's interesting re: Visible. We're not big fans of the pricing model of Mint Mobile, so we get the apprehension. That said, if you like it and it performs well for you they do offer some decent savings. Tello is also a good option!

    • @matthewjbauer1990
      @matthewjbauer1990 Рік тому

      I chose Mint mobile over Visible (or any other Verizon based service/MVNO) because Verizon/Visible require a CDMA compatible unlocked phone or a Verizon branded phone. Chances are that the Samsung A71 is GSM only, which is why it won't work on Visible. How do you like Tello? My problem with Tello, which is why I chose Mint, is that their service is slower than Mint and it still limits video to 480p.

I normally trade up directly with apple every year so that won't be an issue. Downside is, I will lose the Disney bundle and Apple Music. I can pay monthly and save $10 and get better coverage. I can also add more devices for internet. I am just a little hesitant about porting my number.
