    I switched from At&t two months ago. $110/month to $35/month for visible plus. Seamless activation and brought my number with me. Better coverage and customer service via the App is excellent. My phone is eSim enabled so I download SIM's when I travel abroad....$15 for 5 days in London.....cant get better than that.

    I have visible+ at $35/month. I am in an area that Verizon is the only service that works good. T-mobile is very weak here. I have unlimited hotspot and I use it as my home internet. I very rarely have any problems with it.

    Unlimited hotspot and 50 GB premium data with Visible for $45/ month is why I'm with Visible. I had a weak signal in my home but come to find out it was because I was using a phone from 2022 (Google pixel 7) with a weaker antenna. After I upgraded to a Oneplus12R I get super fast speeds at my place and in 5g with a better antenna and updated bands

    My backup emergency phone is on the Visible Basic $25mo plan. The talk/text/data on the phone itself has worked everywhere, but the data hotspot for my tablet has only worked in 3/4 places I’ve tried. For example, works great when visiting San Josè, CA. However, over the hill in Santa Cruz the talk/text worked fine but I could NOT get hot spot to work at all. I’m glad to hear switching between Basic to Plus to Basic is easy because I need to go to Canada for at least a couple weeks or a month in the summer and understand it will work on plus up there.

    I tried several prepaid carriers being on a budget. Visible is easily the best service for the price. It has truly unlimited data and hotspot data. I was on the $25 plan and thinking of switching back because it's the best carrier I've used. Mint is decent but if you are only on data like me then it isn't a good deal. The data is faster and more stable on Visible and you never have to worry about it ever slowing down.

    I have both. That way I have both networks on my phone. Added bonus, I have an extra phone number to use for situations where I don't wish to give away my primary number.
    I can set that number to have a silent ring-tone so it doesn't disturb. While my primary number rings and I can communicate with family and friends.
    That car salesperson isn't getting my primary number. They are getting the "silent number" that just goes to vmail.
    Edited to add. TMO has the best coverage in my home. But traveling, I have a better chance of getting a signal on the VZN network.
    The iphone supports cellular data switching. I set my data to the Visible plan as the primary data source, but it will automatically switch to Mint if the VZN network isn't cutting it.

      I know what you are experiencing because I am a Visible customer. I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy A14 5G that I use with the service. Visible's sign up wizard tells you that phone is not compatible. That is bull%$?#. However it will not let you get around using their phone checker. It turns out that Galaxy S10e is compatible I had one and lost it. If you tell the phone checker you have a Galaxy S10e or possibly another phone their bot knows is compatible { I am not sure if you need an IMEI number which could be a challenge}. If you sign up with that phone you will get through and they send the SIM. Once you get it, put it into the A14 5G and it works. You could also buy a cheap phone off Visible then stick your SIM in another Verizon capable unlocked 4G LTE or 5G phone.

  • @maluminse6013
    @maluminse6013 4 місяці тому +1

    Contractless? If you have to pay for 12 months up front in order to get the best price then that is a de facto 12-month contract. In fact, it's worse than a postpaid 12-month contract because you have to pay for the entire thing in advance.

    • @razorbeard6970
      @razorbeard6970 4 місяці тому

      It is not a contract. You can pay it and decide to move to another carrier if the phone is unlocked you just won't get your money back. I don't know if that's worse than early cancellation fees with contracts. It would depend on what plan and how many months you are into the deal.
      In addition, it limits the ability of the provider to rack up extra fees if you pay late month to month. Mint's average rates per month reset the market to remain competitive.

    • @maluminse6013
      @maluminse6013 4 місяці тому

      @@RLB1923 i’m saying that if you’re supposed to be paying $15 a month like Ryan Reynolds said you shouldn’t be paying taxes on it either the only good plan that I ever had to any T-Mobile company was through Metro because the price you paid was the price that you saw they never really cared about over using data allotments

      @@RLB1923 those taxes were extremely high the way I looked at it because in my area went from $180 for the year for the 5 GB plan to about $205 more or less with all these little mobile companies that are piggybacking off of the bigger carriers they’re all getting brought up by the bigger carriers which leads me to believe that some of these companies were just made so they could be sold quick cash

    No one beats no one, unless they have proper service in a given area.
    I have used Verizon and Verizon mvnos and ive used the two remaining providers and their mvnos and can tell you that in my area no one beats another unless they perform.
    And in Saint Louis, Verizon does not perform.
    Att and T-Mobile do. And it kills me to say T-Mobile is good here. But they are far better than Anything Verizon. So it is what it is.
    Near the end of the video. And repeat. The services hes covering are MVNOs. So you need to look at the provider covering that MVNO. Then check that proviers performance in your area.
    Im in Saint Louis and Verizon has a great reputation here. And its all smoke and BS because ive had Verizon, and i know many people who have used Verizon and all of them say it is overpriced garbage.
    And i believe them because ive had Verizon and it was overpriced crap.
    Watch, listen, consider. Mull it over before you put your chips down.
    Some areas, only one of the three providers is worth a crap, and in others, two or all are decent.
    Be sure.

    Visible is great. HOWEVER it’s hotspot flawed by only allowing one device to connect at a time. For that single reason I went back to Verizon branded service.
    Only reason

    T mobile has the fastest and most coverage in the 5G arena. i bought a Moto G 2024 from mint mobile and got a one year, 15GB plan for 15 smacks a month. the regular price is 20. i do like the month to month of Visible though. ymmv competition is good for the customer and keeps companies honest. im not a speed junkie but got 492Mbps down, 42Mbps up, speed in anniston alabama with mint mobile. google fiber speed test. oh and nothing can compete with a good Linux desktop. i use a mobile phone at work because i have no other choice.

      T-Mobile has the best coverage and speed for 5G. Almost as much as Verizon and ATT combined. Look up the metric provider results if you need to confirm. Verizon/Visible is ok if you want mostly 4G and slower data speeds. Getting "coverage" that is painfully slow and not usable is not always better. 🤔

      All the fact based Metrics providers data says the exact opposite if 5G coverage and speed is important.
