I've had Mint Mobile for almost 4 years and I love it. People pay crazy amount of money for other services and my little Mint does everything theirs does.
Love Mint. Have had it for 4 years with no issues. I bought an iPhone SE from Apple to have an unlocked phone to be able to install the Mint sim card. Even buying the new phone, I saved so much money these last 4 years. I used to have VZN, and for 1 line, was paying $80/mos. I worried about Mint's network coverage, but it has been the same as, or a bit better than VZN, for the areas I traveled in. As a mostly remote worker who spends the majority of my day in WiFi (I use T-M WiFi at $50/mos.), it just didn't make sense to have an expensive wireless plan. I'm on the 5GB/12 mos. plan, so with under $200 for the year, I have a great product. Zero regrets!
I switched my T-Mobile to Mint two years ago. Because no one calls me, I have a ton of money. I did have the 20g data. However, my internet went out for a while and had to work from home. So I found myself having to re-up the data. So now I have the unlimited. Yes, I dont use alot, but want that security. Now, if you use alot a data i notice, it will lag some. I did a road trip from Texas to Las Vegas and internet would lag in some places. My friend had AT&T and didnt have any issues. For navigation we had to use his network. All and all if you, I would recommend Mint to save money. I just retired and I really dont use my cell phone alot. I wanted a dual sim phone for travel, so I bought a A54 and at the time Mint didn't list it as a compatible phone. However, I have not had any issues. I do wish Mint had plans for tablets only.
what about resolution when streaming movies or videos? is there any noticeable difference when streaming movies and videos on Mint Mobile as compared to Verizon, AT&T or T mobile?
The other charges are low but are there. It is Taxes, connection fee and 911 fee. Usually about $7 or so. My question is are those extra fees calculated for each month if you go 12 months or is it just a One time fee. I do assume it will be charged again when going to pay for another 12 months.
Ok all! Got an update!! Here is the breakdown I received on fees for the 12 month 5 gig plan: 1. Other Government Fees: $2.52/yr 2. Fed Universal Service Fund: $1.32/yr 3. Recovery Fee: $18.48/yr 4. Federal Cost Recovery: $0.12/yr All of this is still less expensive than the bigger providers, so I’m generally alright with it (total cost was $180 for the year!)
Great vid and have been thinking myself about switching but a couple of questions: 1. Can you carry over your phone # to Mint [from services like Verizon]? I've been with them forever and not going to re-print new business cards again with a new number that all my clients have. 2. International call experience? I got a ton of wordwide contacts that call me all the time for business.
I've been using mine in the northeast Pennsylvania New York New Jersey also in Florida when I visit my parents and I've used it going down corridor 95. I've used it in Puerto Rico multiple times. And I've used it in California visiting family. And I've never had an issue. I have noticed though if you're using an Apple phone it doesn't work as well. Pure Android phones without the bloatware seems to work the best.
Thank you so much for sharing this with me. Your video has given me the confidence to switch to mint. I am so done with paying $250!a month for 4 lines (one is an iPad).🥲 with T-Mobile. Also wearing the mint colored shirt was a nice touch. I like how you coordinated with the colors of the company. Thanks again 🙏🏾
Great video! How has your customer experience been? Looking at Mint or Visible, have heard Visible customer service is lame so looking for Mint experience. Thanks!
I heard that u can call Verizon and ask them to unlock your phone so that u can use that phone with mint. Is that not the case?? Also what about international travel? Do u have service in Europe or south America?
I❤it. Wifi calling is awesome. Good deal. I got 5gb 15/mo. using my old unlocked ph 😊; xfinity have 15/mo but only 1G and u need to have comcast internet which is like 80/mo. 😤 bye xfinity 😂
@@Ishy5891 That's cool. We're thinking of going with Mint which is T-Mobile for the most part. Verizon here in Chicago and way out into the sticks is rock solid, but crazy expensive. Thanks for the heads up on T-Mobile

Been a mint mobile customer since 2019. 100% worth it. The 15 gig is enough for me

Love Mint Mobile!! I've used the free 3GB of data per month in Canada too. Great plan!

How about international call, and what if you travel overseas to Europe or Middle East or Africa …?
Yes you just have to get a pass for that a international pass for data
My mom has mint and she was able to use it when she went to Dubai twice
@@DrakeOne-ix4jq Thank you!
If I buy my phone thru Mint, can I still transfer my current number?
Yes you can, in fact that’s what I did 🙂
Thanks Big Bob!!
The website says new customer price is 15 dollars a month. Does price go up if we renew
Did you travel out of the country? Wondering how the roaming service is in Europe or China…
Mint is awesome. Don't know why ppl pay more
Yes, !! I'm paying..$55; month one line, unlimited.. senior.. T-Mobile!! Done with them !!!!
Hi,
Please review the Mint Mobile plan for people aged 55+.
How is their international coverage? I do not see much on their site about it.
What happened when u go over the data
If you are on the mint mobile unlimited plan and paid for it for 3 months how do you downgrade it and do you get a refund or credit ?
Great video! How has your customer experience been? Looking at Mint or Visible, have heard Visible customer service is lame so looking for Mint experience. Thanks!
Once your phone is payed off you can unlock them from your current provider.
Thanks for adding this into the conversation! It must be a newer option as we weren't able to do this a few years ago.
Verizon keeps it lock for 2 months after being paid, not sure if other providers are the same.
@@anthonyguzman761how can they keep
It locked if it’s

FANTASTIC
Can you do a Helium Mobile review along with how many coins it pays and if it actually offsets the cost of the service.

Verizon doesn’t lock their phones anymore
since when please and thank you
Does the unused DATA roll over and accumulate into next month?
No
I believe all Verizon phones are unlocked after 60 days. Just a FYI. Great video!
Good to know! This must be a new feature, as we were stuck when we switched
Mint is just cheaper tmobile service wise. Same network. Verizon is trash.
verizon is far from trash but it's spensive as heck
@TheRange7 Verizon is trash because it's overpriced.

Too much Ad Lib in this video
So tired of vulgar language! Would never consider this phone after watching their advertising.
