As shit as this music would eventually become, you have to hand it to Korn for being true originators of a sound and a look. Granted, RHCP, Janes Addiction and Faith No More had been doing it for years, but they brought the METAL to the funk, rather than the other way round.
I saw Korn 4 times in 1994. The first time they opened for Danzig and Marilyn Manson played after them. One of the most memorable shows of my life.
