I saw Korn live in 1995 in a small venue packed with about 300 people. They opened with Blind and it was like a grenade blew! The audience was amazed and shocked by this NEW sound and feel. Next time I saw them was 1999 at friggin Texas Stadium, opened with Blind and the massive sold out stadium exploded. Incredibly insane it was!!!
In all of its distorted 240p quality. Gives you a sense of being there. I was 3. Man what an awesome way of learning about a group that's about to change the music world.. The people in that club that night have something we'll never have

Untill I first heard KoRn by chance at a friend's house I can't explain the orgy of feelings that were flowing through my entire body that particular day with any words that could make sense , I was a kid and the world of music opened it's doors for me that day . Not sure why I was compelled to share that with you but I think when I read your comment for a second I was taken back to those days but anyhow good day .
I thought it was a creative choice. Ultimately worked out for them in the end. The previous version may have more kick but maybe it wouldn't have been as iconic. Then again, maybe not.
I'll have to disagree. The original version of this song is just a bit too long winded. There's just too much going on. The final version that ended up on the self titled debut just flows a lot better, and the vocals are a lot more fitting to the song. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the Neidermeyer's Mind version. I just prefer the S/T debut, better.
I don't think it would have been as successful if it came down to the original. Blind was the kick off to the first album and the official version nails it in the right way.
