1a auto is teaching me valuable stuff in their videos. Super helpful. This video I learned to purchase the parts I want and gladly pay the labor for a professional on my rear breaks. I'm not equipped with the patience for this mess. Mine is probably rustier.
This morning I did a rear brake job on my 05 Forester, rotors, pads and shoes. I hadn`t done anything like that since the mid 60`s and started at 7 and was done at 9:45, before it got hot. This video detailed everything I needed to know very clearly. I thank you!
Jeez!!!! That's gotta be an east coast car, the rust is very telling. I'm east coast right in the rust belt but my 2002 isn't in that shape or even close and it has over 330,000 miles on it lol.
I did my fronts and back before but can't remember every step. Don't need to disconnect the battery right? I'm just doing rear pads and don't want to have to bleed brakes.
Hello there. I Replaced my rears brake rotos and pads, and now I have a grinding sound, it gets worse if I make a right turn and it disappear if I turn left. I thought it was the dust covers but is not. Pressing the brakes does not affect the sound. Any ideas what it could be? I have a 2002 WRX.

The slots should lean the other way, that is the driver side rotor.
