Congrats on everything!! Glad to see you posting and sharing not just cars but your viewpoints for those you aren't in your shoes. Really puts different things into perspective and is very genuine and entertaining. - Old PUBG teammate
I appreciate that! Good ol PUBG days
Hey Elias, glad you're enjoying being a dad and your move to Florida worked out!
Peace man 👍💪✌
Ayyyyy my goodness dude! I thought about you and your channel not too long ago... Im happy to see you're still around man! 😁
Thanks man! It’s all about where the focus goes
@@FlyinGato amen to that!
Just got a chance to look at the full video. That's awesome dude. Congrats on your baby girl! That's a valuable insight on how one can go about with their dreams when they have a child. If I ever have kids one day, I will definitely keep that in mind. Thank you, God bless! 🙏🏻
You should definitely do what you can to have children, it's the most worthwhile adventure you can take
@@FlyinGato thank you, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Look forward to the next content! Maybe this time with your baby! Haha
Welcome back brother!
Glad your back!
Thanks for the wisdom... I've put on 38k (KM) on my 2023 Elantra N and it's become my most fun car ever owned. However, still have to get it out to the track to realize it... You're lucky that you still have the one car that'll be your lifetime keeper (S2000), perhaps you can pass it down to the kid.
Yea I’m hoping the kids pick up the car passion, but we shall see
@@FlyinGatojust have many one will 😊
@@FlyinGato I only have one and the odds was against me. The kids here are afraid to drive cause of the horrendous traffic situation.
As a father of 3, I have a new appreciation and vigilance for safety on track. It's much more than me not getting hurt, I now am putting someone's father and (husband!) at some level of risk. Yes, there is risk with everything and anything. But not cutting ANY corners with tracking your car is my primary focus. That meant AP Racing Radicals with Ferodo 2500 and DOT 4 fluid for my C6 Grand Sport, adding a bucket seat, 5 point harness, HANS device, sticky Toyo R888R tires. I've spun off track before, it's hella scary. Spinning on track is what made me choose a C6 Grand Sport over the Z06. Dropping a valve in the LS7 and spraying oil on my tires on track is a great way to eat from a straw for the rest of your life, or worse. These perspectives might sound crazy like "why is he even tracking?". Why you ask? Because life is short and you never what curveballs will come, so we still have fun, but we do it in the safest way possible. And with the C6 that means addressing the brakes and then cooling with reliability.
Welcome back man would you still have ur sport hatch if you would have never got into racing even with a kid would u still only have sport hatch and s2000
Welcome back. Congratulations on everything coming along. I agree with you on the points of to never give up on your passions and goals. I will say that of i had a kid right now i would have not been able to do all the racing i have done. When i made 20k most all that went to racing when i made 90k most all that goes to racing. If you are truly giving your all to something such as racing then you have nothing left. But I will say its a difference from being a race car driver and a car enthusiast. Car shows and meetups and things of that nature just require time and are low cost of entry. Also your wife is amazing. Most people divorce within 5 years and if kids are involved then it can take more time from passions n goals. So have kids but know things will change and have everything in order 1st is my message. Too many people have em but dont love em. For now im just a uncle that does race car stuff so im the coolest ever lol. Glad to see the honda love. Sorry for the rant. Also you wanna run daytona in 2024 endurance race?
you pretty much summed up the state of dating, marriage and the terrible treatment we put children through, a lot to unpack for sure. I agree on giving your all to racing, it's truly the only way to find out if you're truly capable of winning races, but I can argue that there's always a balance of choices you take in life, a lot of people tend to go all in on one thing without questioning the overall balance. As for Daytona endurance, when is it? I am in of course, send me the deets (I'll be reaching out).
Wow.. Thats an insane insight.. "You want your kids to love and respect you and they wont do that unless you love and respect yourself that means not giving up on the things you love to do. 🔥
Having a daughter really puts this into focus for sure
Great video, glad to see you back. Plans for multiple kids? Does your wife also get to pursue a passion of hers? I love the attitude and hope I can put some of your advice better into practice.
yep, definitely want more kids. My wife loves to travel, and we do have plans to get back to it once the kids are a little bit older, for sure. The best advice is to always try to be the best version of yourself possible, every day. Some days are good, some are bad, but always try to be your best version.
The track looks exactly like the datona track on gt7 😅
Yep that’s Daytona sir
Welcome Back !
Thank you sir!
Your lucky! It works when you have a partner that could manage the house and plus making a lot of $$ helps keep the house whole stress level down.
It’s all about communication and compromise, remember I haven’t really done much car stuff in almost 2 years
