Loving this new line! I think it should be named ‘Pipeline’: for the fact it’s jumping over scaffolding and it’s like riding a big wave. Each new feature could be surfing-related. Boom!
Just make a full on dirt pipe all the way through, like a snowboarding pipe. You can add hitching posts, wall rides etc all along the top edges. You could also use the vert walls to transfer out of the pipe and connect to other lines. As for a name Legend Valley...where legends are forged or destroyed on pipes from scaffolding... Can't get enough of this content! Thank you.
You should renovate the bridge to make it look proper and match the rest of the playground also if you did then you could potentially use it to ride on and use for the start of another line giving you alot of versatility and a great optional run up (Also it would just look more authentic!)
Definitely need to carve out more of that clay bank on the side of the landing so Ben and Jamie will try it! This looks SOOO clean. I want the whole thing to be a giant dirt halfpipe.
The Lip is the problem. there isn't enough transition for such a big bike. its too abrupt. you can see it loading the rearend of the bike up to throw him over the bars. after the race jump he needs to dig more out of the bottom of the jump, the same circle radius theory with the wood ramp builds needs to be *applied here. Even when he cleared it each time it was sketchy on the edge of control. the bottom of the lip just needs cut in a few inches and he would have so much more control in the air
@@shaunmilor what are you talking about those aren’t big bikes, those are dirt jumpers designed for this kinda stuff and they don’t have rear suspension bro. They got a fork and that’s it, nothing is trying to throw them otb because there is no rear suspension to buck you.

Build a platform on top of the takeoff from the upcoming dirt quarter. So that you can jump onto it then back down into the takeoff and use the landing of the 90 degree hip as a takeoff onto a lillypad/manualpad. Which comes back into the landing of the jump after the upcoming dirt quarter
After the quarter pipe, it would be amazing to see a crazy big 180deg berm made of wood that actually goes a bit past vertical, say like 105deg from the ground. So you can just pull massive G's through it and have mega speed for something afterwards. Would be amazing to see you going almost upside down.
I absolutely love this series. Another cool series Matt could do would be training sessions. How to begin jumping. How to angle the bike properly while in the air, etc. I'm sure those things exist, but I'd prefer to learn it from Matt. Maybe a Beginners series or something.

Keep that bridge but make it look better. Get some spray artist to do that red playground text in thumbnails that would be so cool Ooo what about this: first do that bridge thing I suggested ^ and then do another hip just like 1-2m left of that one you made in this one (it like spilts just before you take of in like triangle shape) Then make that birdge bit wider on that part and do it so you do small stepup to birdge and drop to that steep landing or maybe go faster and just tap back or front wheel on it
you should build a mini jump going in to a bowl in the ground and you go round the bowl and jump out into the continuing lines. loving the playground keep up the amazing work.
I love the wall ride idea, especially with the graffiti artist move, maybe a helfare logo on the wall ride and then a playground logo on the side of the wedge ramp
I‘d love to see a bench on top of the Half pipe so you can chill out and watch the riders… you should see a lot of the Playground AND you could hop on the bench :D Edit: with the bike obviously 😂
Maybe you could build a line to link the bridge and ride over it that would make a continuous use of the bridge. The playground is getting shaped each episode and the idea of building and riding included in each episode is really entertaining for us those who follow the channel. Impressive project. Keep going!
hi Matt, i think a split lane that keeps crossing over each other would be cool. The bottom line would be more mellow with very fast smooth berms going under a wood berm feature and a big trick jump at the end. For the top lane it would use the wood feature as a manual pad, being a features for tricks to manuals and 180's too. Lastly after that some rollers to regain speed and connect with the lower line for the trick jump. If you don't want to connect the lower line to the top line you could build a a berm in between the gap going back to the starting place like you did with the other line. Lots of work but would be lots of fun. Keep doing what your doing and have fun!
For the next feature you should definitely build a loveseat like you would find in a backyard bowl. So you can ride over the top, use it as a hip, or use it as a vertical roller. Would be epic!
I reckon for the valley, you make it into a really creative area for different lines, so after the hip landing have a take off that can be used as a quarter pipe, another hip, and a step up so you have two choices to return to the opposite side of the valley but also a way to exit into a new line above possibly a flow line with a spine and smaller truck jumps that could then link up with the exit of the valley
Name for the Hip: "The Scaffolthing" For the new line.. in case you want to continue through the small bridgevalley, you could have a leftish angled whaletail that sends you back into the side of the valley. Less shoveling, more airtime and speed :) Love the vids and would love to help you guys dig.
Here’s an idea for one of the jumps in that half pipe, a jump into a wallride that you then jump off of, so kind of like a sideways upbox or on off ramp or whatever you want to call it. I hope that makes sense. As always great video.
For the valley I would keep it simple but also technical. You don’t want to over due it with a bunch of wood opsticals and stuff cause that takes away from the jumps (in my opinion). I personally would make a couple left and right hips with like one wood wall ride or something. Great video ❤️❤️
How epic would it be if that whole valley was a dirt quarter pipe. Also... what if you miss the lip and run into one of the scaffold tubes 😬 Maybe some pads?
The dirt pipe should be called the “DIVOT”. A divot is a ditch made in the ground after a player hits a shot and it would be a cool name because the valley is sort of where the ground has a ‘ditch’. Love the content!
Great video. I would love to see a bigger kind of "shark fin" like the one you built on the backyard trails build that goes from one side of the valley to the other side having the gap just in the middle of the valley
I sure hope no one cases that first hip into this new line and hits that’s little piece of scaffolding 🥴 but loving these builds! Seeing a notification every few days has me pumped to jump on see hay you’ve achieved! Awesome work matt! From one trail builder to another I just wish I had the fellas and equipment to get more done myself..
for the hip name it “The Queen” since you are jumping over the bridge and as u said countries are known for their bridges so the bridge could be named like “The Royalty” since it’s a big thing to be able to push the wheel barrels over it. For the quarter pipe after the hip make it a half pipe throughout the whole valley like the snowboard ones just add some slopestyle features to it like wall rides and what not and name it “The Bunker”
for the racer before the hip you could name it “short stop”, “ground zero”, “star struck” (since you’re already looking up ‘at the stars’ once u hit it), or even name it “the demise” because (no hate towards ben) ben would be regretting hitting that mid air as he looks up to the hip
A big wooden wall ride would be cool for the next part, would start a wooden theme going with the bridge. Have every other feature in the valley wooden. Playground is looking amazing 🤘🏻
I think a cool feature you should make for this techy line could be a top "stall" deck like on a skatepark halfpipe, but put a pump bump on top so you jump up to the top of the pipe, pump along the edge then drop back in a little further along the pipe. Or instead of a quarterpipe with bumps along the top, you could make a massive flat bank with pump bump ripples along the surface.
Name the Hip 'Entrance to heaven' because its gonna look so good when you enter and you will be able to see all the cool features as you fly over the bridge.
Great name for the hip by Sullivan Hartman calling it the overpass like a road theme for the whole dirt valley, adding to that you could call a 360 or 180 berm the roundabout. But I think a road theme would be cool. Loving the series matt.
Mate! Lawn maintenance and horticulturist here! I suggest getting the lads on some weed eaters around the proximity of the ramps and the trails themselves as the lush what seems to be blue blade grass will be invading it sooner then later! A nice hit with spray of a growth regulator to slow weed contamination into the jobs would be handy to keep ‘em looking fresh!
You should either rebuild that bridge or facade it with Trex boards. Maybe hang some hanging pod chairs under it & make it a place to chill in the shade while you recoup. Just an idea 🤔👍💯
The jumps are looking sick as ever! I really like the idea of jumping in and out of a berm that would look so cool after a giant wall ride Well done boys 💪👍
This is just an idea, but after the hip, have a wallride as you say, then when you're ripping through for the next one, you could have a small takeoff, that sends you in to a vertical/nearly vertical whale tail. Then you hop off back to normal and go back down the valley. So it would kind of be a wallride, but it would be curved and maybe even made of dirt! And then on the Hip, you could jump it straight like you did the first time, and have a landing, then take off to jump into the berm on Jamie's line.
Keeping with the golf theme...need to name the new line Amen Corner which makes up holes 11, 12, and 13 from Augusta National. Three holes that sparks a lot of fear for all professionals competing in the Masters. Also, you have Hogans Bridge that leads you over the water to the 12th green. Keep up the hard gentlemen...love all the great content!
Spend an hour with a grinder and trim off all those long bits of pipe coming out of the scaffold bridge if it’s staying It’s a good feature and obstacle but tidy it up abit Love the valley !!!!!
"Pipeline"!!! One of my favorite mountains to snowboard has a canyon with big looping hip style jumps on both sides, you could make a surfy flowy looping type jumps down the Pipeline!
"Golden Gate Hip", you could make the right off the other side a wall ride and then add a steep tight berm that loops back on the left. It would cut back across the hip landing and remove that ominous wall of dirt, that Ben is dreading face planting. After that the space next to the hip is where a large quarter pipe should go, that side will start to look like San Francisco, somewhere in the middle of the bay (not a valley) there should be another pond with an island, Alcatraz! 😉
After the left hip you could incorporate a piece of Woburn woods and have a bath tub feature and use it as a foot plant feature, love to see the progress
Yo Matt I just recently started watching your channel. You literally have motivated me to get back into riding. It's been 12 yrs since I had a motorcycle accident and hung the bike up for good. But I stumbled across your channel and went and bought a DJ and now it's hard to stop riding. I don't don't why I waited so long. Keep up the footy, the playground looks dope af. Pedal easy bro
For the next feature you could build a whale tale thing except in a wallride? like you jump onto the wallride and its a fruit bowl. love the series matt!
You could create a dirt bowl so you have multiple exit options. So come off the quarter pipe into a take off that lands inside a dirt bowl that you can loop around 450deg then step down back into the gulley. Or land into the bowl and jump straight out between the new berm and the gulley and start a new line from there… the options will be awesome
Gday Matt, I wanted to give you an idea for this new creek line you have made. Why don't you make the jump after the hip a step to rollers/right berm? After going around that small bush, hopping back into the creek making a left-hand berm into a right-hand dirt quarter pipe (thinking about it again I reckon you could do the opposite. Left-hand quarter right-hand berm. really it depends on how much dirt you are moving). Once hitting the quarter(or berm) you go straight through into the bottom of the creek making a small or big double/feature of some sort. I thought you could call this line slithering speed considering how fast you go and it is animal themed. Also, I'm a huge fan of you and your videos and I would to get my small ideas out there. Cheers from Aus, Harry.
I think you should do away with the first skimmer jump, for several reasons. I would just make the run way level with the main lain and just cross it. This would allow you to really boost and trick the hip. I would rather have one really good jump than 2 that are hard to ride. This would also make it better for riders like Ben and Jamie. Yes, technical is fun, but making the one jump better makes the line more fun and more session-able. I also think you should make an open loop somewhere. Those are such unique features and would make the Playground so much more one of a kind
This is amazing I think that it should be like the cereal bowl type thing, it would be fun and fresh and interesting to see fit in with the others. Honestly stoked that its coming together this well!
Road themed, call the jump "the flyover" loads of other suitable options for later; roundabout, hairpin, bus stop etc.
Yesss
I agree with that idea it would go well with the jump
Fax ive been tripin on the golf them so a road them would be sick

BIG QUARTER after the hip 👌
Matt Jones- the best dirt jumps diger
A one for ben is a little flat bar which he could double peg stall or somthing out of a jump/hip, love the vids so much!!!
Epic dude 🤙🤙
After the next jump, you could build a dirt rainbow. Thanks for the sick vids, keep up the great work.
My hip name suggestion is "Fire in the Hole". The next feature idea is a banked whale tale, so the exit is essentially a shark fin.
I think maybe the hip should be called the Barrow hip or the wheelbarrow. .you guys are awesome , loads of fun to be seen on here.
To keep with the golf theme.... "Hookers' Hip" a hook in golf is when you pull it to the left.
Nice Work & Recreation Use Of Nature
Spend an hour with a grinder and trim off all those long bits of pipe coming out of the scaffold bridge if it’s staying
It’s a good feature and obstacle but tidy it up abit
Love the valley !!!!!
"Pipeline"!!! One of my favorite mountains to snowboard has a canyon with big looping hip style jumps on both sides, you could make a surfy flowy looping type jumps down the Pipeline!
Gosh I love this all it looks amazing
Niner, sixty niner! Seems like a fun name cause your going one way then the other!
I'm so excited for the Grand Canyon
The explosion was so funny and creative 😂 love these videos
Yo Matt I just recently started watching your channel. You literally have motivated me to get back into riding. It's been 12 yrs since I had a motorcycle accident and hung the bike up for good. But I stumbled across your channel and went and bought a DJ and now it's hard to stop riding. I don't don't why I waited so long. Keep up the footy, the playground looks dope af. Pedal easy bro
Place looks awesome, little skimmer jump can be called, THE ON RAMP, The hip over the scaffolding, Call it the OVERPASS.
Hips don't lie for that entire line.
Quarter pipe to fruit bowl be insane. But a wall ride would be really cool too.
Really likeing the time laps music! Can't get enough of it haha. Awesome video as usual keepnit up 👌👆💯
I think you should do away with the first skimmer jump, for several reasons.
I love the work that you put in to each video, it's truly amazing.
This is amazing I think that it should be like the cereal bowl type thing, it would be fun and fresh and interesting to see fit in with the others. Honestly stoked that its coming together this well!
Hey Matt because your building on such low ground I would recommend spending a lot of time armouring it from water. Great video mate keep it up 👍
A transfer from one side of the valley to the other would be sickkk!!!! Sorta like in VinnyT’s edit
