A bit of advice for when the menu only partially overloads. You can make it overload by dropping the bow you're currently holding, then exit the menu without equipping another bow. Go back into the menu, equip another multi-shot bow, and exit the menu again. Then pull out the bow so you're holding it again, and go back into the menu. It will be overloaded then. This takes longer to describe than to do.
This is handy to know, I remember having trouble overloading the menu in the middle of the desert (I guess because the game had much less rendering work to do).
To clarify, you will need to have this specific amount of menu overloading, where only Link's head is visible. If he just appears naked or the weapons are still visible, it won't work

Some tips: the best thing to sacrifice is chu chu gelly since you can select the type you have the least of then turn all but six of them into another type then do the glitch once and turn 6 chu chu gelly back to the type you used. Also you can transmute stuff into fairies you just need to put them in a weird floating bundle at the start of the glitch.
Throw a boomerang, cast magnesis, pause, hold a pepper and flint, unpause, the boomerang should hit the flint spraying sparks on to the pepper, backflip catching the boomerang, open the paraglider before your feet touch! You should go into the sky from the updraft - That’s my discovery for today haha

Hey man, don’t know if you know this glitch. I’ve seen a lot of people going through the hardest of times to get out of bounds on the map. I’ve discovered a method with which you can (at least at this following location) go to the mountains out of bounds. You’ll need a lizalfos, at least these give me the speediest bounces. Line yourself up with that path alongside the tabantha tower, that canyon which leads you to the Giza craters. Have a distance big enough so that the map has to render and freezes as you fly after your BTB. Make sure you follow that path above that canyon region and fly over the edge of the map on the west. If you’ve done it right you will pass the “can’t go any further” border and clip through part of the wall/mountain, underneath there is the real mountain and link will grab on to it. Climb you way up until reaching a save spot in the grass and place your travel medallion. Now you can reach this point at any given time. Some blue chu chu’s will spawn as well as stall enemies. If you try it, hope it works out for you! Keep up the great vids! 💪
Does the pointer work based on the item's position in the inventory? Because if so, you could also use the sorted inventory in such a way that the item you want occupies the space of the sold item without having to drop all of it.
I've been testing with this one and from the looks of it. It has to do with the creation of a new item slot while holding items from a slot that no longer exists. So you do have to "release" all of an item before you can dupe it.
Not as simple as a campfire next to the master sword! Still shaking my head it took so long to finally realize that coming out of waiting by the campfire causes items to slowly load or game mechanics/rules to not be checked, even other places that it can be used.
oh my god! finally there's a way to (kind of) duplicate items! this is super helpful early game and still has massive applications late game like for a new playthrough you can get massive amounts of ancient cores and stuff Edit: hey Limcube my brother says using the Parcy gem duplication would be a more efficient way to get the 6 items as opposed to using wood, what do you think? I feel that the fact that Parcy can give you one of 3 gems at random makes this a bit too inconsistent to get 6 of a specific one.

A tip ive found is for your selling item in place of wood yoi can also use tye chuchu jellies as you can chage tye type they are (red witu fire, white with ice, yellow with electricity) Btw for overloading the menu glitch you didnt need to retry it. Long as part of Link is invisable it works. Dosnt matter if its only his head visable or if his weapons and sheild are as well, done it many times with them visable. You also dont need to pick up the bows right after you hold the thing youre going to sell, you cab pick them up after your item is duplacated
Glad I found this. I was about to start farming for rare materials to upgrade all of my Amiibo unlocked items. Everything is super rare, so this will surely stop me from going insane trying.

So I’m doing it in the same location as you in this video. I’m doing it with star fragments and I can get it to work once but not twice in a row for some reason. It works for me the first time (turning 1 star fragment into 6) but when I do it for the second time (trying to turn 6 into 11) it just stays at 6 when I press X to stop holding the items. As I’m using them to upgrade armor sets I’m just going to the fountain, using the 5 that I created then coming back to make 5 more. Hope this all makes sense and might help someone who’s having the same issue.
Figured I'd add to the knowledge base on this one. First. We can dupe fairies as long as we set them down with the bunch up trick shown in the video and collect them quickly enough when the bunch is broken. If they where previously at zero. Adding a korok seed or spirit orb instead of collecting a new item will add 5 of either of them. I did some testing and this does not apply to the champion ability counters since their position never disappears even when all used up and waiting to recharge.will have to keep testing with other countable items to see what new weird affects we can force apon the game

This glitch seems like it'll still be useful for cloning a handful of items toward the start of the game, but will you be covering the new "Inventory Slot Transfer" glitch when a bit more is known about it? After watching some videos from El Duende 05, based on zxrobin's discovery, it seems like IST is going to be the go-to method for duplicating hundreds of items in a short amount of time.
I don't think it would work with weapons cause you'd have to hold it like the 5 pieces of wood and I don't think that's possible. I'm excited about ancient cores though! Or star fragments
the best way to get wood it to go in the rito stable and always keep 6 and never go above it the things you need to be overprepared is: a burnt up campfire and any fireblade and now u just need some lots of nearby wood
Well, now I'll definitely consider getting all star fragments for the amiibo outfits. It's still gonna take a lot of time (get a handful, upgrade, repeat ad nauseam), but not nearly enough as doing it legit; that shit was just ridiculous.

Yes. There are many ways to do menu overloading. The multishot bow method is just the easiest. But if you are low on multishot bows. You can use the octobaloon attached to your arror trick or a little easier is to get 1 multishot bow and use the octobaloon to dupe it until you have enough to perform the overload glitch. If you don't already know the octobaloon tricks. Check klerics video about it
Dang! This would be a great glitch for rupee farming. Just turn wood to Farosh horn fragments and instead of needing to do the floating item glitch, just sell off the ones in your way.
This may have been asked a million times already but do how do you think the BOTW 2 creators will be affected by the incredible culture of BOTW glitches?
Maybe this happens because the menu overload causes Link's held items to not appear in the overworld, so he can sell the last of that item so that other items move into that space and putting the first item away adds to the slot without checking what it is.
Thanks a lot for the trick! There is a detail that i would like to point out that seams weard, or i didn't understand somewhere. So the first time you do the trick, you get 5 extra scales, then the second time you get another 5 extra scales, and the last time, you get 4 extra scales... so the amount of scales you where putting on the ground didn't add up, or i didn't get the math correctly ?
I think when he dropped eleven items to show that anything beyond ten gets deleted, his total went from 14 to 13, and that's why the total was one fewer during the third duplication. I could be wrong.

Hey. Quick question. What happens when you run out of wood to gather around the stable? I managed to do this about 4 times before straying too far from the stable (to gather more wood) and losing all of my floating item drops. I’m playing in master mode and don’t wanna lose all my giant ancient cores because of only two save files.
pick up all of your floating items, save the game, reload the save you just made. The wood should all come back, and then you can make the items float again. It's a slow process but it's technically doable.
alternatively, gather a bunch of regular chuchu jellies, then turn 6 of them into ice chuchu jellies with an ice/blizzard rod each time you want to dupe. That way you don't have to leave the area until you run out of chuchu jellies.

@@catalyst539 The only Amiibo gear I would waste my time with is the Fierce Deity Set. The rest is lame and looks no better than and similar to the Tunic of the Wild set, and the Wild set has higher protection value. Now I do like a few of the Amiibo weapons, the Wolf, and Being able to get Links horse Epona (even though you can get just as good or better horses in regular game play)

It's kind of wasted on fairies if you watch the video it's easier to farm them with this guys method at fountain. It also works great on materials like lizards, crabs, flying bugs (not sure on the bugs haven't tested that).

Whenever a new glitch is found I just think of the poor BOTW2 devs frantically checking if the exploit works in the upcoming game.

I feel that the fact that Parcy can give you one of 3 gems at random makes this a bit too inconsistent to get 6 of a specific one.
It's much faster than this if you want topaz, rubies or the blue one (can't remember it's name). If you want diamonds, this is much better.

He is at the stable near Rito Village, because it has those large stacks of wood outside, and it has tons of trees.

Figured I'd add to the knowledge base on this one. First. We can dupe fairies as long as we set them down with the bunch up trick shown in the video and collect them quickly enough when the bunch is broken. If they where previously at zero. Adding a korok seed or spirit orb instead of collecting a new item will add 5 of either of them. I did some testing and this does not apply to the champion ability counters since their position never disappears even when all used up and waiting to recharge.will have to keep testing with other countable items to see what new weird affects we can force apon the game

Hey Lim. This glitch seems like it'll still be useful for cloning a handful of items toward the start of the game, but will you be covering the new "Inventory Slot Transfer" glitch when a bit more is known about it? After watching some videos from El Duende 05, based on zxrobin's discovery, it seems like IST is going to be the go-to method for duplicating hundreds of items in a short amount of time.

I don't think it would work with weapons cause you'd have to hold it like the 5 pieces of wood and I don't think that's possible. I'm excited about ancient cores though! Or star fragments

There’s already an existing weapons duping glitch. Been using for about a year or so now 👍🏼 Similar process with the menu overloading.

Could you do the camera floating item glitch for items that don't stay on the ground (like beetles and lizards)?
the best way to get wood it to go in the rito stable and always keep 6 and never go above it
the things you need to be overprepared is:
a burnt up campfire and any fireblade
and now u just need some lots of nearby wood

Well, now I'll definitely consider getting all star fragments for the amiibo outfits. It's still gonna take a lot of time (get a handful, upgrade, repeat ad nauseam), but not nearly enough as doing it legit; that shit was just ridiculous.

The royal guard weapons glitch is still way better for rupee farming. This is only really useful for very rare items like giant ancient cores

I can't believe that it's tied to such an easy-to-use glitch (especially compared to wind bombing which I learned thanks to you! Or that glitch that lets you dupe shrine orbs for max hearts and stamina or moon jump, which I learned that from Mr. Euphonious voice.
Still, we have to get that first copy of an item to dupe it, but that's OK 👍

Yes. There are many ways to do menu overloading. The multishot bow method is just the easiest. But if you are low on multishot bows. You can use the octobaloon attached to your arror trick or a little easier is to get 1 multishot bow and use the octobaloon to dupe it until you have enough to perform the overload glitch. If you don't already know the octobaloon tricks. Check klerics video about it
Dang! This would be a great glitch for rupee farming. Just turn wood to Farosh horn fragments and instead of needing to do the floating item glitch, just sell off the ones in your way.
The royal guard weapon glitch is still more effective but yeah 👍

Maybe this happens because the menu overload causes Link's held items to not appear in the overworld, so he can sell the last of that item so that other items move into that space and putting the first item away adds to the slot without checking what it is.

Thanks a lot for the trick! There is a detail that i would like to point out that seams weard, or i didn't understand somewhere. So the first time you do the trick, you get 5 extra scales, then the second time you get another 5 extra scales, and the last time, you get 4 extra scales... so the amount of scales you where putting on the ground didn't add up, or i didn't get the math correctly ?
I think when he dropped eleven items to show that anything beyond ten gets deleted, his total went from 14 to 13, and that's why the total was one fewer during the third duplication. I could be wrong.
@@storytellerjack22 I have no idea why he only got 4 on the third try, but my guess is link can only get as many items out of the glitch, as he can hold in his hands, 5. so putting down more than 5 items sounds weird to me

Hey. Quick question. What happens when you run out of wood to gather around the stable? I managed to do this about 4 times before straying too far from the stable (to gather more wood) and losing all of my floating item drops. I’m playing in master mode and don’t wanna lose all my giant ancient cores because of only two save files.
pick up all of your floating items, save the game, reload the save you just made. The wood should all come back, and then you can make the items float again. It's a slow process but it's technically doable.
alternatively, gather a bunch of regular chuchu jellies, then turn 6 of them into ice chuchu jellies with an ice/blizzard rod each time you want to dupe. That way you don't have to leave the area until you run out of chuchu jellies.

@@catalyst539 The only Amiibo gear I would waste my time with is the Fierce Deity Set. The rest is lame and looks no better than and similar to the Tunic of the Wild set, and the Wild set has higher protection value. Now I do like a few of the Amiibo weapons, the Wolf, and Being able to get Links horse Epona (even though you can get just as good or better horses in regular game play)

you can also use this trick combined with this one here ua-cam.com/video/076d3NWrqrE/v-deo.html to dupe fairies as well as any other material that tends to run away. It's kind of wasted on fairies if you watch the video it's easier to farm them with this guys method at fountain. It also works great on materials like lizards, crabs, flying bugs (not sure on the bugs haven't tested that).

triple shot bows are now basically the only weapons you need in the game
my medal shield or spear wont get the orbs of items down… is there another way or did I just waste 2 hours lol, ima leave the game running so if I do get a response I can safely get them down lol
