    EDIT: Number 4 does not protect you from all damage, there is a limit to it, so youll still have to be careful although it works to that limit, thank you to Caio Moreno for brining it up to me.
    I also tested it with Defense Up just now and it seems the Defense Buff Simply gets Ignored? There is more testing to do but it seems not as broken as I initially thought.
    EDIT 2: I DIDNT NAME TRICK 2 THIS, IM NOT A FAN EITHER LOL

      Limcube a lot of people dont know about this but the zora weapons do double damage if wet so that combined with sidon (you stay wet even 30sec after the bubble pops) you can have the whole super op double weapons thing without having to use a weapon thats almost broken or being 1hp also you can get mipha s spear for 22 damage and it has that property sadly you cannot add modifiers to it throught octoroks but you can find pristine zora weapons under ground in the lanayru region theyre very rare tho

      @@charlesbronson2926 I actually learned something else after that as well: terrain in the depths is generally inverse from the surface. Mountains form massive chasms and lakes tend to make impassable walls. Started to realize this when I forgot to switch back to the depths map and realized that the path through to Zora's domain was largely the most traversable part of Lanayru's depths. This justifies a lot of the "inaccessible" areas (there's one big example I can't name, since it's a bit of a spoiler), as you can see from the surface that their topography suggests this condition in the depths.

    One minor trick I like to use when building propeller planes is to use reverse. Two propellers are a great amount to use but if you don't have any wheels it can be hard to take off. Just walk your little glider to the nearest edge and lift it as far up and out as you can (and aim towards where you want to go obviously) and then gently bring it back down onto the ground. Now use reverse on it and it'll lift the glider for you with you on it. Activate the glider at the highest point (when setting up, hold it in place a bit longer to make this much easier) and then cancel reverse to set it free. Now you're on a glider with two propellers and you're in mid air! No extra materials needed. So much nicer than trying to use a wheel cart. Just teleport up to a sky island that has free wings or propellers or both, slap them together, a little time magic, and you're flying with no material cost and the terrain didn't restrict what direction you're heading like with those glider rails. I use this all the time.

      Adding to that, Ultrahand plus Reverse opens up a ton of mobility options in general. There's a ledge you can't climb? Grab a nearby plank with Ultrahand, move it up to the edge and down again, step on it and turn back time. Boom, magic elevator. A chasm you can't cross? Same idea, just pull something across and Reverse it. In short, any place you can reach with Ultrahand you can reach in person, as long as there's a physics object nearby to use as a platform.

    Something to note on #3 is that you don't need to draw your bow in order to get an item to stick to the arrow; as long as your bow is out, it will still fuse the item to your arrow. That way you don't have to worry about firing a rare item by accident when you're getting used to it

    Two things:
    Adding to number six, you are *guaranteed* some form of modifier when your weapon/bow/shield is sucked up AND if you do it again (they respawn every blood moon), it will get upgraded again with a better modifier!
    If you hate the durability system, you can use this to get a weapon with durability ++, then use a duplication glitch to make as many of those as you'd like
    Duplicating weapons/bows/shields is similar to items. These three can be stacked
    1. Equip whatever you want to dupe, close menu so it shows you wearing in overworld
    2. Save
    3. Stay in menu, drop weapon
    4. Equip any other weapon
    5. Hit ++ really fast
    6. Drop other weapon that you equipped
    7. Load the save you made earlier
    You'll find the weapon, shield, or bow (or all three if you did this for all three) on the floor. I find this easier than the item duplication glitch, and it's cool that it carries over all buffs and fused items.

    For the duplication, I've found a lot of success in pulling the bow out (ZR) and immediately start fusing shile tbe bow is coming out. While the fuse animation is happening, drop the bow and equip the other one. Finally, just double press the start button really fast followed by dropping the second bow.
    The reason the duplication works is when both bows occupy the same space while falling which is why the pause is important to do fast.

    I realllllly appreciate your approach to offering tips without spoiling the game. One of my biggest regrets was racing through BOTW with guides and spoilers and ultimately only having like two moments of genuine surprise throughout the entire game. Once I found the spots with tons of hearty fruit, got Majoras mask, duped arrows at the oasis cooking pot, and pulled the master sword early it pretty much nailed shut the coffin on BOTW- I’m hoping that point takes years for me with this game. I went into TOTK wanting to maximize the feeling of uncertainty and surprise for as long as possible, but after spending an embarrassing amount of time falling off sky islands trying to figure out how to nudge the wing off a ledge I decided to watch some really basic tips to help me stop playing the game like it’s BOTW and get some basic TOTK skills. I’ve certainly noticed there are small camps of creators who want to offer these tips without ruining the game, but many more who solely offer game breakers and spoilers in a way that kinda feels like they don’t want you to enjoy the game but just crush through it- I’m scrolling YT like “no, that thumbnail is giving too much away! Skip!”

    Building balanced hoverbikes is soo tricky. Been playing around to try and find the perfect placement, will try out yours. Another benefit I can see about an angle < 45 degrees, which you didn't mention, is it should sit on the ground better. In my experience the 45 degree angle, combined with a slope can make placement finicky (control stick becomes too vertical, or gets shoved into the ground).
    One thought is to favorite both a ~45 degree and a vertical fan orientation. If using parts from inventory, auto-build can be used to reconfigure back and forth at no cost to match the situation.

    • @gammaboy4568
      @gammaboy4568 Рік тому

      hardest part about it is that the control stick doesn't appear to have mounting points anywhere but the bottom. Even if you can get your fans to fit at a good angle, it's really hard to make sure they're placed symmetrically. Depth perception is already such a big problem when using Ultrahand, placing two round objects on another round object at an odd angle just complicates it further.

    • @ChadAutry
      @ChadAutry Рік тому

      @@gammaboy4568 Yeah, my preference has started leaning towards the front and back 'hoverbike' form vs the sideways 'segway' form. 1) On 'hoverike' alignment of the fans up and down is more forgiving. Really only need to align them left and right which is easier to do . 'segway' form needs them to be attached exactly symmetrical 2) When landing at speed, since it is longer front to back it doesn't flip over as easily. 'segway' form faceplants 3) Can easily add 2 more fans the the rear for a hover-trike with more power. (to lift Koroks and crystals, or just go faster)

I could see some dual springs and fans aimed downward for even more grip on the ground to make climbing up rocky steep terrain possible. Plus someone found out if you attach a stick to the vehicle upwards at a 45 degree angle forward or backwards, attach a free spinning small wheel to it on the end sticking up and then attach the "stay-upright" zonai device to that wheel it will keep the vehicle from tipping over side to side but still be able to nose up or down when ascending or descending hills!

I was able to trigger the quest because I had the requirements (although I've been doing only side missions and haven't actually done any of the main quests). • @Tohlemiach
      @Tohlemiach Рік тому +4

      It was even worse for me. The thing you find there leads you down a series of events and I accidentally did the very last step of that series of events FIRST. I just found a certain thing in a certain place and had the requirements to obtain it, then only afterwards did I realize there was a part of the process that actually leads you there, and not only that, but because I finished the last part first, then did the first part second, it actually completely skipped the middle part, since it gave me a quest and immediately marked it complete. So I googled what that quest was cuz I now have no way to find out in game, and I got spoiled on another cool thing that's part of that series of events. So yeah, genuinely a real criticism I have about this game is that they needed to sequence story-relevant gameplay and not allow you to sequence break. I'm more than a little upset.

    There is another really powerful modifier that is on all of the Zora weapons, which lets you deal double damage if you're wet. And if you've completed the Zora portion of the main story, without going into details, you get an ability that makes you wet. I have a 77 damage spear that goes to 154 if I'm wet. Which is completely insane. With a level 3 attack buff, that is doing 231 damage per strike. On a spear.
    A more niche modifier is the Royal Guard weapons that do double damage when they're about to break. A Royal Guard Claymore with Attack up +10 and the strongest fuse in the game does 194 damage, with attack buff 291, and when mounting Lynels, weapons do not lose durability. So that makes for a very efficient Lynel smasher.

    One tip I never see mentioned is that single item foods cooked on a fire (not a cooking pot) are stackable. This way you can fill your inventory all the way with buffing meals and elixirs, and not have to waste an effect duration if you need to heal or top off a heart or two. You can gather a lot of apples quickly using an autobuild schematic of several apples stuck together to pull them all out of a tree at once, and you can get a lot of meat by using bullet time to shoot whole packs of animals while gliding above them. Drop all the apples and meat in a pile and use a fire fruit or red chuchu arrow to cook it all and you've got a nice quick and easy way to top off your hp.
    Another tip nobody mentions is the one shot protection mechanism that incentives healing yourself to full. In botw and totk, when you're at full health when you get hit, the game will leave you at a quarter heart instead of killing you if the attack's damage was within 5 or so hearts of your maximum health. For example, you can survive a 10 heart attack when you only have 7 hearts as long as you were full hp at the time. So it's worth having a bunch of small stackable food items to top off your health when you don't want to waste a full 8 heart meal to recover 1 heart.
