- Part 3 is Out Now!! • 30 MORE Things that Do...
It appears that there are even more strange things I noticed during my time playing The Legend of Zelda breath of the wild. So strange in fact that I made ANOTHER video about it going over 30 MORE things that don't make sense to me. Yes I am going to be applying real world logic to The Legend of Zelda breath of the wild again.
The list of secrets and weird glitches in Breath of the Wild continues to grow, such as bokoblins stealing your horse, eating your own paraglider and sheikah slate, and the Yiga Blademasters able to carry around the ancient flame. Launch Timing Update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel. The Legend of Zelda series producer has an update to share about the launch timing of the sequel to The Legend of #Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Please take a look.

8:27 Hey I just wanted to tell you I think the animals you chase after a long time go to the backrooms
@@Mango1021hmm good theory
Link's inventory is weird. Why can Link hold up to 999 bundles of wood, yet tree branches take up precious limited weapon slots?
Because his weapons go on his back while his collectables go in his endless pockets.
Yeah why is that?🤔
Because the Shika slate absorbs the weapons so he has more slots
Link puts the 999 bundles in his house
Cue xfiles music 🫣🤯 you guys just keep breaking my immersion. Hope I don’t nit-pic with botw2 after watching this 😅
as for Number 8, theres actually Multiple Beedles (maybe not 'in-canon', but definitely in-game)...you can look up the video where someone took the painstaking amount of time to Sprint-Charge into Beedle over and over again, making him stagger and move a few steps, all the way from one stable to another, and had Both Beedles onscreen...
It works this way for any NPC that appears in multiple locations, like Kass for example. They're considered different “actors” by the game. (Though at least canonically, Kass can fly.)
@@Chubby_Bub right; its like your sibling having their Own phone charger, so you dont have to steal Yours back n forth from each other
Yeah Beedle doesn't even actually leave any of the stables he's in, even when it looks like he is. He's just programmed to walk around in circles to maintain the illusion that he's travelling with you.
Somebody once brought four Beedles together and formed the world-famous band The Beedles.
Well obviously!!! we all know that, hes just pointing out the lack of realism
Congrats on almost hitting 25k Subscribers
Just don’t think I have forgotten about the ranking of the 2D and 3D Sonic the Hedgehog games you said you would do at 25k Subs in your Nintendo Handheld Ranking Video
Thank you dude!
I have one. When you hold the WEAKEST WEAPON IN THE GAME (tree branch), you lose it in, like, three hits, but when your ENEMY (such as random bokoblin passerby) holds it, it has INFINITE POWER. I have attacked this bokoblin for an ACTUAL HOUR. THE TREE BRANCH IS PERFECTLY INTACT. >:(
Including this in the next video! Thanks!
Once at school my friend Liam said he was fighting a monster camp with only bokoblins that all had royal claymores and he claimed that when they jumped to attack him they just got struck by lightning
Maybe Beetle has a sheikah slate? I mean practically every NPC knows what it is…
0:57 rito: oh sad i wanted to eat my uncle.
According to Breath of the Wild Making a Champion, the Rito are based on birds of prey meaning they're probably raptors i.e. will eat other smaller birds.
Wow link really must have some sort of magic for the bundles of woods COMING with a rope after slashing the trunk
Something that annoys me is how link can defy the laws of thermodynamics, he’s just a perpetual motion machine
Link can literally eat hundreds of chicken wings and then go sprint 5 marathons
How can link hold so much stuff but he only physically holds one thing
what doesn't make sence to me is that link is able to jump, run, attack, and backflip while the heaviest armor and heaviest weapons on him with ease.
(heaviest armor is the flamebreaker armor)
(heaviest weapons are probably the savage lynel weapons)
Bolson's house is right next door to the one he sells Link. So he's just hanging out in the neighborhood
As for 9, Karol’s are fairies, and therefore use magic to not burn up.
1:00 you do know that birds eat other birds right? Birds of prey hunt other animals, usually smaller than themselves. Some of these animals are smaller birds. That’s like being freaked out that humans, a mammal, eat pork and beef. Oh my god! That mammal is eating another mammal!!! It’s not like Frita was asking for Rito meat. Lol
Suns rooms and spicy peppers will make an updraft if they catch on fire
I just thought of another one, if you have flame guard, either from elixir or armor, you don't burn in death mountain, but if you stand on a fire, like a camp fire, you still burn
If you upgrade the flamebreaker armor to level 3 you can’t take fire damage on everything.
That part of Link never getting full, no matter how many foods you make him eat? Seems MiHoYo agrees with your point, as, in Genshin Impact, a MiHoYo game, while the game takes some inspiration from open world games like Zelda Breath of the Wild, you can't endlessly have your characters scarf down foods too make any fight trivial, each character has a limit on how much they can eat, before you have to wait till their stomachs empties
Koroks are not trees in our understanding
They’re physically touchable spirits of forest
My biggest confusion is that 4* flameproof armor doesn't work in the desert
i have a theory for 29
maybe the multi-shot bows somehow cut the arrows into 3/5 pieces then fires it and therefor breaking the arrow thirds/fifths
Question how does link shove a whole raw bird his parachute and whole
Outfits in that small little piece of leather?
Please keep doing these. They are awesome!
Thanks man
Some birds actually eat smaller birds
You can go into space with out freezing
There are birds that eat other birds... You should check out what owls and hawks eat.
Have you ever wondered why Gerudo town's water doesnt run out? Or evaporated?
Including this in the next video! Thanks!
Well it’s not totally unheard of for humans to eat primates, right? Ritos are much more intelligent than say… a cuckoo. I can agreee that it’s weird she has such a preference, but it’s not really cannibalism.
How does Link even slow down time while he’s carrying his bow
That's weird, I thought you could freeze fruit.
And these are literally the biggest problems with the game. It’s incrdible
Plot twist: in the Zelda universe it rains wd-40
Do you eat cows? Were both mammals!
A Rito is NOT the same as an animal bird! Why do so many people act this way! It is a pet peeve of mine!
A falcon eats a pigeon, an eagle eats a pheasant, a parrot can eat chicken! THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SPECIES!
Is a lion the same as a gazelle or a whale or a cow or a dog or a mouse , etc.!?!? NO!!!!!
Also Sentient people are not the same as dumb animals and an anthro is NOT THE SAME as a regular NON SENTIENT animal!
How is this confusing!?!
Also for example A Minitaur is NOT the same as a COW and therefore likely would have little problem with a human eating a cow....
Is a HUMAN the same as a monkey?
Is it Because overall birds are more similar in body plan and size than mammals?
No one gets 'confused' in this moronic way with mammals! EVER!
JUST BIRDS!
This really drives me ABSOLUTELY crazy!!!!
Its a real pet peeve of mine!!!!!
Cannibalism is EATING THE EXACT SAME SPECIES THAT YOU ARE!!!
And for me It would morally include eating other fully sentient humanoids. Such as a Rito eating a Hylian perhaps.
Not a Rito eating a heron or a ostrich!
Enraging.
Just..... Sigh......
collapses in righteous indignant exhaustion.
These are
SO TRUE!!! I love it!
Birds eat birds all the time in the animal kingdom just like mammals eat mammals.
Koroks are canonly spirits. That's why.
How can link eat food when link is in his paraglider
Umm... just because Ritos are birds doesn't mean that eating birds makes them cannibals. They are only cannibals if they eat other Ritos. That's like saying that because peregrine falcons eat pigeons, the falcons are cannibals because they are both birds. 🙄 Are you saying that humans are cannibals because they eat cows, pigs, sheep, etc., because they are mammals just like us?????
It's easy to explain though... IT'S A VIDEO GAME !
#20 From what I remember arrows used to be made of flint, and from what I also remember flint can be flammable? Someone else can correct me. I don't even know where to begin looking for this.
How do you not use any stamina well climbing up a full blown waterfall but you use a lot of stamina when you're just swimming normally
How come if a Rock Octorock inhales a rock it comes out smaller
for number 6 at 1:57 i think he just sells you the house and not the land around it, yes he makes you pay for the decorations. but that is just like paying taxes for the local park
"Are ritos canibals?" No, think about falcons. Birds eat other birds, just like mammals eat other mammals.
Yeah like we are Mammals we eat cow that are also mammals
Thank you I was just about to write about this
Yeah, like monkeys
Also ritos were once Zora's so putting that into perspective, it's not cannibalism. It's more like a fish evolving so that it's predator becomes it's prey lol
Makes sense
In reference to the Rito eating poultry: We mammals eat other mammals all the time. Seeing cuts of pork or beef doesn't frighten us, so why would poultry from non-Rito sources upset them?
Still, fantastic video either way ;-P
Adding to this, there are some raptors that will totally eat other birds if given the chance so that point wasn't even necessary.
Yes that is a real pet peeve of mine!
Is like this man doesnt know that some birds eat other birds
Smh
I guess he doesn't know that birds of prey literally prey on other birds.
We eat other mammals but not fucking humans, ur logic doesnt make sense
The koroks are spirits I believe. That’s why they can hide under rocks etc
The koroks are dead children
@@Blacksmith52 wait really?
@@Blacksmith52 Pokémon reference?
@@partyvessel8128 no not a reference it's a theory by one of my favorite zeldatubers
The Koroks are definitely spirits, if you try to take a picture of them they won't show up in the photo.
#2 that's just a property of the sunshroom, they make updrafts, just like the spicy pepper. Actually "sunshroom" isn't an accurate translation, it should be something like "spicy shroom"
#3 the Ritos are based on birds of prey, so yes they eat birds. The Zoras also eat fish
#9 Koroks are spirits
what about the stick the korok is holding
In the Gerudo Desert, there is a shrine (Misae Suma shrine) whose entrance is blocked by someone who is thirsty, so you have to bring the ice to the Gerudo town and get the drink ready. You tell her about the drink and she suddenly has enough energy to cross the whole desert and you can finally enter the shrine. However inside there is no shrine puzzle and you go directly to the monk. What would have happened if the woman wasn't blocking the entrance? Did the monk predict that someone would be blocking the entrance or was he just too lazy to actually design a puzzle, and it just so happened that someone gave you a mission at that point?
So true!
Talking about that woman blocking the entrance... She's actually not blocking the way, but just laying over the terminal controlling the door and covering it partially. Furthermore, she's so weak and can't move by herself.
Why not just gently push the lady away? Nope, you can't! She must be too heavy.
Or just tell her a little lie about the drink?
Even more stupid, that Sheikah slate is supposed to be the top notch of Hyrule technologies, but its PayPass signal isn't strong enough to be received by the terminal, as the woman doesn't fully cover it?
And the funny think is there is a fan-comic that talks about you said 😂😂
Maybe its just walking all the way out there? I think there's another shrine thats extremely easy as well. But I haven't touched BOTW in months though, so I don't think I remember well.
I think it's intentional that the monks are able to predict what will happen when the hero finds the shrines. They're supposed to be helping Link fulfill his destiny, so it makes sense that they know what he's destined to do and what's destined to happen around him. Like they just knew that another person would be fascinated by the fragmented monument near Lurelin, and put 2 pedestals that both Link and the other person need to crouch on.
I think it was stated in another Zelda game or something that the Sheikah can see the future or something
So Rito eating poultry isn’t any more weird than us eating mammals. I mean, heck, the zora mainly eat fish
@@AccurateAsian they are but the Ritos are birds of pray
The Zora are probably mammals
And gorons, which are rocks, eat rocks, so what do the gerudo eat?
What happens to the Koroks you don't find? Do they just stay hidden under rocks or whatever when Link kills Ganon? Do they go unloved and alone forever? I really need to know!!!
I would imagine at some point they either go back home or Hestu is like "oh yeah I was supposed to do something"
They will continue to wait forever for you to find them. You do intend to find them all, right?.... Right?
good
3:38: Fun fact: This paraglider was especifically designed to glide in death mountain, since it is made from sturdy materials, both from death mountain and the hyrulean royal family. That's probably the reason why the king's ghost had the paraglider in first place
Also, in 8:06, the ice on cryonis cannot be melted, and not beacuse of the incredibly low temperature, actually, the opposite. The cryonis block's sheikah tech makes the ice be nice and warm.
8:31: The animals have a specific circle where they can travel, and if they pass it, there's where they dissappear.
Where’d you get that info? It’s more likely it was made by the Rito since it has their emblem
yes! i want to know
to be fair with the Rito eating birds thing, birds are hunters and will go after birds of a different species if they're built for it, like an eagle will absolutely kill a nice, plump chicken and eat it
As for the multi arrow bows, one word: magic. I know it seems like a cop out but if you stop to think about it, it makes sense.
Ritos eat other types of bird, humans eat other types of mammals (e.g. pork or beef), so it shouldn't be that surprising. Usually it is only cannibalism if you eat of the same species, so if she wanted some Rito meat, I'd understand it. Other types of poultry, like Cuckoos should be fine.
Number 3 is not really weird. Have you ever seen falcons? That Rito looks like a bird of prey, which eat meat, including smaller birds
Pelicans
Not mentioning how zora eat fish
0:47 well, no
Ritos are birds, a class of animal. They belong to the Aves class. (eagle, duck, penguin...)
Humans are primates and belong to the Mammalia class. (wale, horse, monkey, cow...)
So Ritos eating a chicken, goose, or duck, is the same as humans eating a cow, pig, or sheep.
1:08 It's technically not cannibalism. If you're going to question this then you might as well question why Zora fish when they're fish people.
Rito seem t based on falcons and falcons eat other birds, which is normal
Yes this is a real pet peeve of mine!
Also, humans eat other mammals. WE LITERALLY ARE MAMMALS. So according to this guy most humans in the world are cannibals.
What doesn’t make sense for me is that we’ve waited longer for botw2 than botw
lol
Almost. We're only at five years compared to botw's six.
@@staircaseofkneecaps783 its getting out in 2023 we will have waited longer
@@lmg1033 oh okay I was confused by your wording because you said we've waited as in present tense which technically isn't true yet
@@staircaseofkneecaps783 ohhh Yea mbd mbd
For number 3, it actually does make sense, because Rito do eat smaller birds, like how in real life birds of prey do eat other smaller birds.
Also, for 29, it could be said that the bow simply splits the arrow into 3 shards, which break upon impact, which is why you can't pick them back up yet still take only 1 arrow.
And then there’s the elemental, bomb and ancient arrows. Somehow those arrows can split into multiple shots, especially bomb and ancient arrows. Like how do the explosives in the bag in the bomb arrow tip split into 3 or 5 while still have the explosives be enclosed in all of the arrows. Or how does the ancient arrow split while still having the same effect in all the arrows being shot. Surely splitting an ancient arrow will break it and render it incapable of defeating guardians or disintegrate enemies.
@@daninichu2953 yeah maybe say that there are special triple versions and only those types of bows can shoot them
Also, in the loading tips, the game itself calls it weird
I love this list! It’s so cool to see ways botw is bizarre
Thanks man
8:31 “I didn’t know foxes can do magic tricks in the Zelda universe.” Ummm… did you forget about Keaton? 😂
There’s a way to get rid of Boson and Karson for good, but you only have one chance to do it. When you help Hudson build Terry Town, get to the point where you help Hudson get married. Bolson and Karson will come to the wedding and when it’s over then they’ll sit next to the cook pot in Terry Town. Now this next part is very important. DO NOT SPEAK TO BOLSON AFTER THE WEDDING. Specifically Bolson as you can still talk to Karson without anything happening. If you speak to Bolson while he’s sitting at the pot, he’ll say it’s time to head back home and then he and Karson will get up and go back to Hateno village and proceed to SIT IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY. So just never speak to him again and you’re good. I haven’t spoken to him since 2019 and it’s been bliss!
i think it'd be best to research this, (instead of just a quick google search like i did) but, to my knowledge, there are a handful of birds that do eat other birds, usually baby birds or dead ones for things like vultures. however im not a bird expert and just wanted to look into it
Awesome video!
Thanks Nick!
Why aren’t arrows retrievable by magnesis when the tip of the arrow is made from some type of metal. Also just tons of odd things about arrows in general like how does a bomb arrow fly the same as other arrows. When link mounts a lynel why not just stay on and continue beating him instead of doing a sick backflip just to get trampled again.
To be fair about the lynels, they are large monsters, it takes a lot of stamina to stay on them
Thanks for the great vids man
Appreciate the comment man, thanks!
number 29 is simple.... when usin a multi-shot bow it kind of make 3 arrows out of 1 by deviding it... cutting 1 arrow so you get smaller arrows that aren't usable anymore :)
What I was thinking too
When someone sells you a piece of clothing and you decide to sell it… “Oh I nEvEr tHoUgHt I wOuLd LaY mY hAnDs oN tHeSe,” while the same exact clothes are right in front of them
I've been hit a bunch of times with my only metal being the Hylian armor. Also, on multishot bows, try shooting crates. You can farm arrows that way by literally turning one arrow into two to five.
The arrow dupe is only if you are at some certain campfires
@@bedeoof5948 which campfires?
For the mushrooms thing. It is because you had a sunshroom in death mountain which means everything catches fire. And if you didn't know sunshrooms and pepper when lit create an updraft
Edit: You can finish the tarrey town quest and not talk to bolson. If you do that they won't come to ue house
To answer your question about the Rito.
When it comes to birds eating other birds, hawks, falcons or owls are usually the birds that come to mind as typical predators. If you have a backyard feeder, chances are that a Hawk or two (or more!) has even swooped in and eaten one of your “regulars”.
Another legendary video, I haven’t seen you in a while so I just want to check in and see how your doing, my birthday was yesterday so it’s really crazy but it’s great to see you back!!! Much love to you ❤️❤️
Thanks man, I've been pretty great! Happy Birthday bro
@@InfiniteBits Thank you so much 😊

@@baxieblur-turnip Thank you so much 😊 ❤️❤️
If Link Cook Something he gets a meal. with a Plate? From where did he Got the Plate?
The rito eating poultry makes sense they seem to be a type of evolved predatory bird which would mean they sometimes eat other birds
Ritos are bird like, not necessarily birds, and anyway, there are birds that eat other birds, Eagles, Hawks, Owls and Seagulls will eat smaller birds like sparrows, ducklings, chicks starlings and so on. So,a Rito choosing Poultry wouldn't be unusual and does actually make sense.
It feels like I haven't seen u in a while. Glad ur back dude.
Edit: I just got a PS5 can u rank all playstation consoles for next video?
Ya been a while and probably not I only have 1 ps console
CONGRATS ON GETTING THE PS5 😊😊😊👍👍👍
Here we go, notification squad! A bit late but ready for duty
Ayee, let's goo. Thanks man!
how can Link jump off of Mt. Ploymus, one of the tallest mountains in the game, and still dive straight into the water below without bodily harm? Plus, how can Link go up onto Hebra mountain and be okay if he puts feathers onto his legs and head!? I am baffled. :) Edit: How do koroks know Link has used stasis on one specific apple on a tree? They aren't there, because if they were, they would give off leaf particles. Same with those weird balloons that fly around, get thrown, or sit on the ground somewhere. Plus, why are the koroks Link finds in Korok Forest scared of him, while the ones around the map are fine? And one more: How can Link eat an apple core, or the bone in gourmet meat, raw meat, and HOW can he eat rocks if they're thrown into a pot before?
This last playthrough some of the strangest things have been happening. I stasis'ed a guardian and it immediately fell through the earth. Then, I was fighting a hinox on eventide island. I got him stuck in the mountain side. He couldn't attack back, nor could he move. Pretty sure I saw an attack animation I've never seen before. I was molly wopping a bokoblin without targeting him. I ended up behind him and, while spamming the attack button, link seemed to do a sneak strike. It was quick but looked exactly like it. I don't recall seeing the action button appear either.
3.they don’t eat other rito, but wild non sentient bird (would you say that a Zora eating fish is cannibalism because they’re fish people?) also I’m pretty sure some birds actually eat smaller birds.
That what I was saying it is normal for birds to eat birds
1:08 For the umpteenth time: It is only cannibalism if one eats the flesh of _the same species_ !
A Toad eating a Champignon wouldn't be cannibalism either.
Or a human eating a monkey. (Though I really don't understand why you would want to, especially with confirmed cases of Monkey Pox in Europe recently making headlines...)
Or Zora eating fish.
(Eating monkey also lead to aids)
@@NintendoSunnyDee This is an incredibly stupid statement.
Especially for someone who seems to pride himself on his analytic skills.
@@catriamflockentanz My apologies, chimpanzees Señor Semantics
Wait what the hell where'd the link I posted go?
For number 3, the same can be said for the zora people. They eat fish, yet they are fish themselves
So are sharks, and they eat fish.
Cannibals
I don't really think it's that weird that Rito eat other birds. I mean, we eat other mammals.
I'm going to say thank God for the merchants having unlimited money; I HATED having to play musical chairs and the waiting game with Skyrim shopkeeps to make money. 😊
about the bird thing
cannibalism is consumption of the same species
aves is an entire class, with thousands of species
within the clade dinosauria
so is t rex eating triceratops cannibalism because they're both dinosaurs?
My theory for multi shot bows is they split the arrow apart instead of shooting multiple arrows. This is why you can’t retrieve the arrows from multishot after.
Pro tip: in the oasis there is a cooking pot. If you light your arrow on the cooking pot fire and shoot a multi shot bow at the wooden part of the cooking pot you can retrieve all 3(or 5) arrows. Easy cheap way for infinite arrows. Just costs durability on a bow.
The funniest thing about Beetle is that if you visit enough stables quickly enough, he will make a comment about you stalking him.
In real life, some bird predators straight up eat other birds. I dont see why everyone is shocked when the bird lady wants to eat poultry, i feel like that just implies that the Rito are predators
Easy explanation, Beedle is the running man from Ocarina of Time
Links metal armor during a thunder lighting storm it doesn’t get lightning struck on it because its a different type of metal
On a similar note to the merchant one, how about the snowball bowling guy? You can just farm infinite money off this guy and no matter how many strikes you get he just keeps giving you 300 rupees. You'd think he'd be less impressed after the 100th time.
He's easily amused.
Also, with the koroks catching fire, Sidon said that potions only worked on hylians.
he literally has the power to swim in water with full metal armor on. wouldn't he normally just sink lol
Birds regularly eat other birds. There's nothing weird about that at all.
The rito eating chicken is about as weird as us eating cows since we’re both mammals 😎
Climbing up a ladder doesn't use up any stamina. But climbing up the Sheika Towers, which have a surface pretty similar to ladders, it uses up stamina. Make it make sense.
ladders are ergonomic and designed for climing, the Sheika Towers are towers that were underground for however long, covered in rock and not made for climbing
Here's one, some shrines, to activate some shrines you need to do some arbitrary action like getting an orb, and those shrines only react to that orb, you can't interchange them
have you ever heard of a key in a door? or a password on a computer?
@@SkullsInSuits yes but all the orbs look identical, sure it can be some sheika tech, but the orbs just look like round rocks
@@mr.witherhmc9304 they look like they are covered in LED lights, they are probably emitting a unique signal or code that we can't see because its on the inside
@@SkullsInSuits ok you have a point, but some other shrines like that one where there's a gerudo girl covering the pedestal doesn't make sense
@@mr.witherhmc9304 Yeah that one is weird, I can only assume that the monks knew exactly when the shrines would surface and so things like the quests that get you in to a reward shrine were already planned
