    At first, I thought your video started with "I'm sad if we haven't met before" and I was surprised by the level of emotional attachment haha. Side note--I also use those hydrocolloid stickers on my face all the time. My friends poke fun at me when I forget to take them off before going out. Props to you for rocking them

      Yes, please do link where we can get the pumice, etc. I bought pumice a few times but they are sooooo small, so I am not sure if it will be effective. Drop some affliate links, that will help. you as well as us, please. Thank you.

    Hi Saab! Is it possible to replace the LECA with the rocky mix and use it with reservoar and with the same nutrients?
    Is it necessary to boil the rocky mix? (I always boil my Leca instead of rinsing).
    Thank you for your answer 🌿🙏☘️

      Hiya! Yes you can totally replace leca with pon and use a reservoir, but you don’t have to boil it unless you’re reusing it! I usually just run water through it after I’ve potted up the plant, as it’s a bit hard to work with wet pon.

    Is there a way you can link the materials you used for DIY PON? I’d love to try my own but I’m scared I’d buy the wrong materials! Love you videos!!!

    So if I am watering my plant in pon the same as I would if it were in soil, can I use the same fertilizer at the same strength as I do on my plants in soil. Also how often do you think it would need to be flushed caring for it this way. Thanks.

    • @MarbleQueen
      @MarbleQueen  2 роки тому +1

      You would still have to use a full spectrum hydroponics fertilizer made for semi hydro, not for soil, since pon doesn’t have the same nutrients soil does. I actually only flush my plants maybe once every 2-3 months if they’re in pon!

      Hiya! I’m located in the Philippines so unless you are from here I don’t think the links would be helpful 😓 I’ve seen posts of people finding the individual components on Amazon though!

    Is there a difference between red or black lava? Isn’t pumice also lava rock?

    • @MarbleQueen
      @MarbleQueen  3 роки тому

      As far as I know, there's no difference between red or black (but I'm not sure)! And yes pumice is a form of lava rock as well, but the texture is different.

    Is zeolite necessary? I'm thinking pumice and lava rock in self watering pots.

    • @MarbleQueen
      @MarbleQueen  3 роки тому

      That would work but I suggest using a ph up or down solution for your nutrients when you water, because the zeolite balances the ph according to Lechuza’s site 😊

    Do you rinse the pon ?

    • @MarbleQueen
      @MarbleQueen  3 роки тому

      I rinse it after placing the plant in the pon, since it's harder to work with moist pon. I just let water run through the pot until it's clear!

    Hi is there an alternatie to zeolite? its not accesible where I am from :(

    • @MarbleQueen
      @MarbleQueen  3 роки тому +1

      Hello! Some people skip the zeolite completely, but I would just be wary of the ph level of your water. You can buy a ph up/ph down solution to make sure it’s within optimal range when watering your plants! The zeolite is supposed to help regulate the ph so that’s why this step will be necessary if you skip it 😊

    • @MarbleQueen
      @MarbleQueen  3 роки тому

      Hiya! I’m not using pon for hydro, I’m just watering it like normal 😅 But you do have to wash it if you want to use it like passive hydro (with a reservoir). Sorry for the confusion ❤️
