Great informational video! Thank you! My question is probably not related to pon or plant. But that shelf behind you looks amazing! Did u make it by yourself? How did u do it? PLEASE PLEASE do a video on that!!! I’m super super excited!!!!
For the self watering pots for Hoyas, do you use smaller pots for smaller plants? I noticed that the link takes me to 6.7” pots. I have some Hoyas in 2, 3, and 4 inch pots and am wondering which size of pots to order.
Very detailed and informative thank you! I have not succeeded with converting any plants to pon so far. I have lots of lechuza pon, they are much finer than most diy pons. You mention the flushing, boiling all the steps I take with leca, most ppl say they like pon because u don’t have to do any of that, I want to know why you prefer pon over leca when you still do all the things you would do with leca?
It's not coating in the brand one, it's just slow release fertiliser balls. You are right in that boiling will ruin that but honestly I wouldn't care personally. :) I hate slow release fertiliser balls haha. Thanks for the video!
@@ThePlantedCarlyflower Thank you! Nice video. I diy'd my pon but the Zeolite I purchased was so small it fell to the bottom and didn't stay mixed. I wanted to know where you got yours but I just went ahead and ordered from Chewy. :)
@@thingsiwonder2001 I didn’t see the type I ordered on Amazon anymore. I’m not sure if it’s discontinued or what. But I did link a comparable brand. I also have ordered zeolite off chewy and was really pleased with the service. Good luck with Pon! Let me know if you have anymore questions!
I want to transition my “rare” philodendrons and anthuriums to leca and pon. Many of them have a very weak roots system (import). Which plants ( philodendrons or anthuriums) like pon and which ones leca ? I am scared 😳😂
Yes! I prefer to root in leca and move to pon for long term. The majority of my cuttings taken or purchased have been rooted in leca and transferred to pon.
I like the clay idea adding to pon!! I will try that with my prayer plants I think they need a little more moisture!!
Super informative. I have a gnats problem and have been looking into semi-hydro, really appreciate all the info, thanks.
No problem!! I’m glad it can help someone! 🪴❤️
Great Video! You need to make more video’s. Very informative...Great Job!

I have used pon since last year. I’ve even started growing seeds in it 😊.
That’s awesome!! It’s such a great substrate!
This was so helpful! Thank you!
Mix fluval stratum in my DIY pon for nutrition. This stuff makes Pothos go nuts!
YOURE AN ICON
Yes please make a rooting in pon video.
You got it!!!! 😍😍
Loved this! I have not tried pon yet, and I'm not sure if I will but so you gave so much great information 💚.
Thank you!! It’s a great substrate!

New subbie. Great video. You've explained it very well.

How is the LiquiDirt experiment going? I use it for all of my semi hydro and I'd love to know how it compares to the dynagrow
I prefer the Dynagro. I see better results in growth with it personally.
@@ThePlantedCarlyflower Where do you buy Dynagro? I see too many complaints on Amazon about the bottles have leaked in transit.
Can you use slow release fertilizer pebbles?
Watch the video!
Love you girly!
Love you more!!
If you're in the US check Home Depot for cheaper lava rock. Just make sure it mentions garden use.
Hi, you didn't link any of the links you mentioned.
I can’t believe I missed that!! I’ll do it now!
Should be updated now! Thank you for letting me know!

Where do purchase the Pon.
I make my own from ingredients on Amazon or I buy it from lechuza pon online. But they always seem to be out of stock 😭
