- Who hasn't started a painting and is not happy with how it is evolving? This is exactly what happens to Jane in this latest demo. About two thirds through the tutorial, Jane decides that she is just not feeling this painting. Watch what she does to fix it. If you are in the habit of painting along as Jane paints, you may want to view it before you start.

When I had mine done I had my left eye done weaker, I think it made it easier to focus on close ups, and depth perception was easier and better.

Hello jane, I just discovered you a few weeks ago and I learn a lot from you, your style is really great. I have a question : your painting seems super fluid while you put it on your canvas whereas mine is always dry and needs liquid to thin it. We Never see you mix your Colors,do you use a lot of water ? What is your secret? 😃 thanks for your instructive videos 👍
Thank you for your comment and for watching. I like to use heavy body acrylic paint, and I do use a lot of water.

Thank you! I like to use heavy body acrylic paint which can be described as thick, stiff, and buttery, with a higher viscosity than standard acrylic paint.
I luuuvvvv the trees when you added more green. The yellow and orange was too glaring. So much easier on the eye with the muted green.

What the direction of the sun?
The sunlight is coming in from the left side.
I’m not a pro but my eyes keep going to the empty right side. Your paintings are always beautiful. I just feel like it needs something. Well, now that you have fixed the fence it’s better . One more thing, so much red on the right side. This just what I see. I don’t miss the fence. I don’t know i still don’t like the big empty space on the right side, I’m sure I’m totally wrong,.
