    add a drop of glove oil to the water in the sponge and it will prevent mildew

      Thank you for your comment. I use Liquitex Acrylics and aslo Cheap Joe's Really Good Light Fast Acrylic paint.

    Thank you so much, this is excellent! Haven't started painting yet since moving t Mt Dora, so really happy to receive this link. Painting is opposite in technique in every way that I've been taught so far but I love this style and so looking forward to possibly being able to incorporate it myself!!!

    Just discovered you. I’ve been painting for about 10 years and love it. Your free and easy style using acrylic paints is actually very skilled and informative. I also love Princeton brushes when I can afford them. Thank you. Love the sound of the ocean in background.

    The bottom line is that the painting itself is awful! The fun-and meaningful-part of painting humans ARE the faces, with their always-unique features. I see nothing to emulate here.

    Love, love, love this demo! I have always avoided angle brushes because I thought they were only for rendering flower petals, & I really prefer figures and faces. Imagine my surprise & delight in using an angle brush like this. So guess what I’m going to buy today😁

    Great video. Speaking of Mt Dora, 40 years ago when I was studying Urban Planning at UF, I was part of a group of 20 students and faculty that undertook a study for the redevelopment of Highland Street. Don't know what happened to our recommendations, but Mt Dora was certainly a great place to visit! Cheers.

    Great videos. Thanks for posting them. Where can I get a list of the brushes you use? I have searched, but I can not find the angle brush with the sharp edge that you use. I am very interested in trying you bold and free painting style. Can you help me out? Thanks

    I am curious what brush you are using , I tend to use sign painting brushes but they are usually short but they hold a great edge but challenging to use for larger canvases where bold strokes are required

      I like to use the Princeton Dakota Series 6300 Angle Bright Synthetic Brush #12 (1 inch) or the #6 (1/2inch).

    Hi Jane, what a pleasure to see how flows the concept, the colors and how it's presented.
    I am a begginer and you give me the push to try.
    Last night I finished the painting about 1145 pm! I was in the flow!
    The final result was not perfect but I like it and made me happy which is the point of paintingfor me..

    Of course, you do actually need to be able to draw to do this…a lot of people need to learn to draw first. Jane obviously knows how to draw..she’s been doing it for a long time. The interesting thing about this vid is that she is drawing with the paint,, rather than filling in a previously laid down drawing. Excellent

    Mme pourquoi tu as changé la couleur de l'arrière plan ? Puisque l'ariere plan est rouge tu profites de faire le couché de soleil ⛅ après la Mer tout a fait en abstrait , mais croiyer moi que ton style de l'impressionnisme je crois , est impressionnant, je veux t'envoyer une de mes œuvres pour les regarder et me donner ton avis , mais comment , te les envois.
