The “hack that” line could also be a reference to hacking, like trying to take control of something that belongs to another person (like hacking a computer or in this case hacking wolverines mind).

The picture petting is a reference to a meme that sprung from the 90s animated X-men series of Wolverine lying on his bed reminiscing, and he does the same picture frame petting, with a picture of Jean Gray and then getting jealous because cyclops is also in the picture. In the meme, people put different things in the picture frame, so they made a reference to that by adding the picture of Lloyd as Gandalf from the Gandalf vs Dumbledore battle.

The only reason I don't like it is because we were forced to sing the songs and it's all they played but its a fairly good movie
It was a good movie with great music. But I think people's issues with it is one of the following 3 things: 1. It's not historically accurate and there are timeline issues. 2. The songs were overplayed as soon as it was released. 3. Those who were in a music class in high school had to sing songs from it. My ex was in choir and they had to sing so many songs from it

In ERB's Freddy/Wolverine BTS, Epic Lloyd was pretty adamant about making Wolverine's height true to the comics. He didn't like how Jackman, an actor over 6ft, was cast as Wolverine in the movies.
What I really like is how you acknowledged the dream sequences. Almost every reactor I've seen don't really seem to notice or talk about them. A few kind of do but most don't. Those were some of my favorite visuals in ERB and were very creative.

Oh, also! So the joke with the photo frame is that there’s a scene in X- men the animated series where wolverine is stroking a photo of (either Jean grey or someone) and it became a meme, and everyone filled it in with other images, so they put in one of Gandalf.
Which is great, because when you think of Saruman, who was opposite of him in LOTR? Gandalf, played by Sir Ian McKellen; who, of course, also plays Magneto.

Honestly one thing I enjoyed from first watching this was just the overall darker, harsher beat. It’s definitely one of the more unique ERB in my opinion. Also, I checked out freshly kanal after you mentioned it, and it was a welcomed surprise to watch the robocop/Paul blart rap.
For me one the most underrated lines is " that face tells me you've met your match", like, match cause he's burnt and all that. Btw for me the best line is the strap on one, it immediately ends the battle for me.
The "welcome to prime time b****" refers to the kill freddy did in dream warriors. Fun fact Robert Englund improvised that line.
The "Welcome to Prime Time Bitch!" line has NOTHING to do with Freddy himself whatsoever. It's a direct quote from "The Dream Warriors" where Freddy comes out of a TV, picks up a young aspiring actress and slams her head first INTO the TV to kill her. It has nothing to do with him being "prime time" or ANYTHING to THAT effect.

Something I've noticed that no one points out is the "beat by a Nancy on elm street". The main one is that the main character was Nancy Thompson, but it also means something further. Nightmare 2 is one of the most homoerotic horror movies ever made. The actor playing the main character was in the closet and alot of sweaty boy scenes. With a "nancy" being a slur for a gay guy
