Aww, Dave you made my night! The one Sunday I didn't catch the video early! Those gifts are absolutely wonderful, and we are all Blessed by you and your videos for Christmas and always! 😝👊🙏
So close! Great giveaway as usual. I've been thinking about my own evolution with collecting, and it is part of the fun for sure. We are all on our own journey.
@@Ken_Faulkner I thought you were the second winner for a second myself. 😎👊. Collecting perspectives always seem to be evolving depending on many factors like financial means and what we are exposed to. An interesting experience for sure
Ha, incredible! I guess it was meant to be. I don’t know what I was thinking. 😂 I am grateful to check them out (esp the Doom knife) and will pass along my good fortune down the line. Thank you very much, Dave.
Congratulations to the winners!!! Satu Claus has the best Christmas sweater!!! Your a great dude and i always enjoyed your work and videos!! Still using the 940 m4 you did the hollowgrind for me, its a slicer!!
Congrats to the Winners!! Dave you made it SOO Fun!! missed me by 2 cards!! but I have plenty so Im glad someone else won! I have a Knife that I have been Stuck on and im finally going to get to handle one and thats the HERMAN Dragonfly.. To ME its similar to the Rask but bigger!
Congrats Doug & Allison, thank you Satu Claus!!!! Love the scene on that McNees collab, definitely out of my price range, but is inspirational and shows what that next level of production can be. Haha, cobra is calzone deployment approved, and something special if you're carrying a pivot adjustment tool. I definitely agree with the perfection of imperfection. I carry a copper/tungsten grave raven fidget spinner cnc'd then hand finished from durham, nc that I got over seven years ago, and Bryan Turner did such a great job working that metal down to perfect balanced spins, despite each weighted side being asymmetrical. On a sidenote, I'm diggin' your christmas attire buddy, Happy Holidays if I haven't mentioned it yet.
Congrats to the winners, and thank you Satu Claus for being so damn generous! I love your videos, very different than all the other knife channels. Being a maker/modder, the content is great! Instead of just seeing a bunch of knives, you go into the technical/machining side. So I get to learn while I enjoy the videos. 🤜🤛 Merry Christmas to you and Hot Rod
I have the Arius, PM Mac 2 and Roosevelt (regular, not the large, yet) and they’re all fantastic knives that I love for different reasons but I totally get your point about the feel. My Zermeno has a completely different feel to it, and I’m not even referring to the thickness of the materials, but the craftsmanship feel. Again, all are fantastic knives but they are for different reasons. That said, I think that Cobra is a completely badass knife! That would definitely find a permanent home in my humble collection as well. I own way too many knives at this point and have struggled with the “own less, own better” concept. I own better but have been truly blessed to own more . Speaking of blessed, I need to try and get on Donnie’s books before too long. Great video, great giveaway (congrats to the winners or whoever ultimately gets them) and I hope you have a fantastic week!
@@jeffreydawson4520 thanks Jeff. I have definitely evolved into this point of view. It’s not something that I even realized was happening until I looked at the safe. Clearly I was only interested in one of the selves and the other had dust to prove it. Customs were top shelf and production bottom I would definitely recommend hitting up Donny. He’s a super easy guy to get and communicate with
SatuClaus is coming...to tooooowwwwwnnn :) I didn't think I'd be able to afford a bunch of knives I always wanted, and then I did through various means. Usually upselling knives I got at good deals (but never intended flip, just worked out that way), side hustle money, selling things I didn't need/want anymore for some knife money, etc. Most of it was just being patient and saving, though. My budget still hasn't reached mid-tech tier yet, but I still got my eyes on trying stuff like CRK, Spartan, McNees, Strider, LG, or Koenig someday, if not beyond that into customs, which would be really special! Lots of cool stuff out there to experience outside the big names 😎 I feel you on the weight thing. I prefer something with heft. I have more confidence in a knife like that vs something lightweight. But I do keep a few smaller, lightweight knives around for certain situations. Same with the personality of a knife. Chinese made knives are very refined now, but they all feel very soulless and robotic. They're just not something I want in my pocket. As you know, I'm way more proud to carry something made by my fellow Americans. Cheers bro! 🤘
@@satudave that's the plan! We haven't talked there yet, but we are connected so I'll reach out sometime if there's something I want to get some hands-on time with! Thanks bro! 😎👊
Bro love the sweater. I think I’m right there with ya. I’ve still got a lot of production knives on hand but I literally haven’t carried anything but the HEETER’s or Donnie’s knife in months. I like the character they have.
Congrats on the winners. You're channel is awesome and one of a couple that is enjoyable to watch for pure knife talk without someone trying to sell me something. I have the Arius and rosie xl and agree they would be better if they weren't hollowed out, and that t.j fisher knife is nice as well. Never handled one of them but like the look of it.
@@chriswebb3018 thanks Chris👊🤘🤘. This is the first Fisher I have held but it might not be the last. gotta say it probably won’t be my last. Definitely a quality built piece that I can definitely recommend already
