Never managed to make a proper character with traditional building methods and then this popped up and I made a solid looking character with great topology in 15 minutes, thanks!
@@richochet I make a subdivide cube, and then, using references, I model the base mesh, but sometimes I use a skin modifier, because that's what my fingers are easy to model. I know, my english is bad
I made the legs separate but with same technique. I'd propably do the arms separate aswell 'cause well if anyone did the tutorial they will see why. Anyways... Great tutorial... learned something new.
I know this a real easy question. How are you seeing your shape in wire frame without making the image plane disappear...It's an empty!..Had to take a close look at your panel over there. Cool!
in 3 mins of your video I discover tools that would have made what I've been trying to do for months so much easier. Thanks

You make this look immensely effortless.
For scaling the verts, you can lock the scaling to an axis the same way you lock axes with the G, R and S tools.
Admittedly, I use a different method to create the base mesh of a character, but it's still nice to watch another method ;D
What's your method?

I’ve been wondering why people don’t do it this way. I learned from Joey Carlino UA-cam channel
@@JRichardGaming Me too.
thanks, it really helped me out with some problems I've been occouring on when skin moddeling. Truthly a bliss.
PIXXO 3D = Master of Characters
It sounds very reasonable, am gonna try it soon thank you!
Amazing how it works. Thank you for sharing this technique.
Thank you, it's really fast

Thanks for this tutorial, the more ways to make character models, I'll try to practice
Thanks a lot.
You showed how to use better the modifiers and why use the vertex data with Radius values.
Just made a video on this cuz I discovered it myself, but it looks like you're better at this than me lol
…never thought it could’ve been this easy
Great tutorial 👌
Use X-ray mode to see the points easily. You can make hands really fast this way.
Great one. Thank you😊
I love it... good tutorial
U BEST!!!
Thanks bro, i can make it
Clean tutorial, i love it i'll try
Good information 🇦🇶
Thats great!! Thx!
My geometries always want to implode and twist around when I'm moving things to my references. Why isn't this happening to you and how do I fix this?
Very Smart!!
Ctrl R loop cuts will add points
- what a cool trick - thx!! :^]
thank you m8
I really like the end result! What do you think about the new addon Blob fusion?
Amazing ~
um im doing the skin modifier and it turning the square into something weird but cool looking with the holes though the cub but not what i wanted
just a quick question pixxo could you use the same method if instead of a model sheet but another persons model to use as reference
i get to the part when you hit g to move the neck and the whole mesh fks up
Same ^^^
Same with any extrude outside the spine.
I know this a real easy question. How are you seeing your shape in wire frame without making the image plane disappear...It's an empty!..Had to take a close look at your panel over there. Cool!
How do i extrude from the wire mesh itself instead of using the verts in the inside of the moddle?
How do i sculpt my model after this? It wont let me
how i can add the pic in blender?
So i cant sculpt on it afterwards, the mesh disapears when i turn on dynotopo.
👍
Been trying to find a way to do 2d faces with the skin modifier. Any tips?
If you'd using in X-ray mode it would more easier to understand.
question is. how do you make a hand
Omg, i just learning blender 2.83 and used S to scale. But in this video (i think its a new vetsion of blender) used ctrl a 😀😀😀
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I HAVE BEEN TRIED TO DO THAT FOR A LONG TIME AND EVERYONE SAYS IT WAS DONE WITH S
how do i make the finger?
4:11 you say ALT+S and press CTRL + A. Just putting it here for others. CTRL + A not, ALT + S.
This might be the most obvious part, but how did you get those model sheets into Blender?
Import Images as Planes add-on that comes with Blender
Honestly you dont even need that, just make sure to save the file to your computer first and then drag and drop it into the view port
I can't apply "shade smooth" to the model that using skin modifier
I don't have "Free" on my Number Pad. What other option do I have?
yeah this does nto work anymore man
I got told to be respectful, how about Putin?
