      @@3DOT3D sorry I have no Discord, and sorry if my video is feel fast for you but I can give some tips, first, u may first download the mesh and put it on beside when u try to create new one by used the mesh as guide..second, if there some step that you dont understand then u can take a look at the right bottom corner and see what shortcut button I pressed on the step you dont understand, from there you can search it in google or youtube especially for that button shortcut so you will learn deeply on every single step and this way you will learn more than just modeling head/face. last tips, if actually more than 50% of the video step you dont get it, then you must refill your basic first and search more basic about modeling stuff, my video may seem basic but its actually tell the way how to do, not about how to used the feature so my apologize if it doesn't meet your criteria..I cant explain personally on every single step I done since it will too much and take too long, but trust me by following my 3 tips just now, it will help you to be much better version of yourself in modeling way, happy learning.. thank you :)

    Thanks for your patience. At 1:30min, I delete half of the cube but there's always a small gap left in the middle. Add Modifiers/Mirror, will see the gaps appearing during Smooth Brush.

    • @SilverWilliam_3D
      @SilverWilliam_3D  12 днів тому

      hi, if that the gap appear after you add mirror modifier then you just go to mirror modifier setting on right of screen(below outliner), check the box called "clipping", then move the middle vertex to right or left until it sit peefectly in the middle..note one thing if you want to put subdivision surface into it as well then make sure the order of modifier mirror always on top and subdivision must on bottom..hope this answer your question..and feel free to ask again if this is not answering your question :)

    What if we use proportional editing, instead of sculpting, to drag verts?

    • @SilverWilliam_3D
      @SilverWilliam_3D  16 днів тому +3

      hi, thank you for asking, first I can say propotional editing and sculpting drag brush have similar function and can maintain same result, but there is a different to used them.. for sculpting drag brush, its faster for me since I just do 1 click and drag it out, i just do 10 click and drag to move 10 times + if the thing get messed up, smooth brush coulg be very helpful, and for propotional editing I need 1 click to select a verts and I need to do 2nd click to move the verts along the selected vert area, so If I need to do 10 moved, then I need 20 times click to do that..so I feel its slower my progress..but I also use propotional editing in some case so I cant said propotional editing worse or sculpting brush better..both are good in their own league :)

    I have 2 questions. 1/ How many steps can I go backwards, as I find sometimes I'm stuck and can't go further back. 2/ If I'm editing a fbx anime, how can I mirror? I'll have to work on the eyes and mouth. It's tricky to delete half of it when it's fully rigged. Thanks!

    • @SilverWilliam_3D
      @SilverWilliam_3D  9 днів тому

      hi, the answer of first question is the amount undo step in blender can be adjusted and added to hundred or more, but how to adjust it you may search more..the answer number 2 is, delete half of the object then add mirror modifier into it..
