Sad news peeps. Its way to crowded now not enough infrastructure for the population. Been here since 1992.

I hope those who move in are looking at purchasing existing homes due to attrition of senior citizens moving into other housing, rather than building more. Water is an issue in the desert and we could easily do ourselves in by over building.

It has changed so much just since 2019. Purchased a home in 2019 and was told they would not be allowing over building because of water rights, but that was totally bs. The construction us crazy and house prices have more then doubled in 4 years. Not the same small town feeling that it once was.

What about shopping centers, grocery stores, malls?
How is the health care, clinics and hospitals?
How do property taxes compare with neighboring towns?
    Very informative video, Dawn👍🏻

There’s quite a bit of shopping in PV for groceries and stuff like that but Prescott does have a mall. Healthcare is alright, but could be better. Also property taxes are about average with Phoenix or Prescott. Hope this helps 😁

Shopping here is great, with your standard assortment of Frys, Walmart, Safeway, Costco, Dillards and the bonus of Trader Joes and Sprouts. The main mall (Gateway) is at the top of the hill, just over the border into Prescott. Numerous other stores and ma and pa types along with lots of restaurants of various ethnicities abound. Also, bear in mind that Prescott Valley (referred to as "PV" by locals) is adjacent to Prescott, so whatever Prescott has is an easy trip to get to, as well. Healthcare is primarily Dignity with Yavapai Regional Medical Center in the "downtown" section of PV, along with numerous clinics. The population here contains a number of retirees, to whom healthcare is a priority. PV is more commercial and contains more chain restaurants than Prescott. Each has it's pluses. Look up property taxes on the Yavapai County website for any house. Compared to Portland (where I came from) it's about a fifth of what I paid there, for the same sized house.

water issues, and lots of over building housing developments. If it has a well save your bucks to have it drilled deeper.

$565,000.00 - Way over priced for that location.

I'm looking for vacant land with no HOA to build a house with a well. Real area. Horse property.

One of the places in Arizona with more comfortable summer temperatures. Prescott Valley has had a problem with certain contaminants in well water, but they are addressing the problem, you can find more info online.

That problem also happens in some of the other Northern AZ towns, I've had issues come up in Camp Verde. Seems to be worse certain times of year.

When showing charts let them stay on video for a little longer instead of just a flash look. Also you mentioned you live in Sedona too many times. Besides that it’s an informative video.

Sorry, sometimes I ramble and repeat myself when I am off-script. But when I write myself a script I sound like I’m reading and like I’m a robot
