This face cream is awesome. I have eczema and dry skin, and the is the best face cream I've ever used. It's a little heavy but it doesn't overdo it. It not only moisturizes the skin, but it also nourishes it with whatever it is they put inside.

I just ordered the 125ml version of it for the first time ever! :) I have dry and sensitive skin. Up to now, I’ve been using the Cerave PM moisturizer, but I’m soon gonna turn 30 and so my skin has different needs now, and I need something even more moisturizing but with nourishing properties, too. Hopefully I’ll enjoy it.

I totally get it, my skin’s needs were very different in my 30s compared to my 20s. I will be 40 next year so I am curious to see how my skin needs will change in my 40s.

My husband just bought me the 125ml. Tried it on a tester and should agree that it is really light-weight. My skin instantly felt soft to touch. I have very sensitive skin and having flare ups of perioral dermatitis. Have tried vanicream lotion wc is light & simple but still leaves redness, laroche posay baume too thick and heavy for everyday use. Hope kiehl’s will work great on my skin.

Thank you so much for watching my video and for you super sweet comment! To answer your question, no it does not leave the skin feeling sticky. It gets absorbed really nicely into the skin. I would recommend waiting about 5 -10 minutes before applying makeup just so the moisturizer is fully absorbed (I do this with all moisturizers). 😊
This is really good.i use it in the morning and Ole Henriksen strenght trainer peprides moisturizer. Theyre combination is the best

Hey Cristina, thank you for such detailed review.. I really appreciate it.. just wanted to know if we can use it on top of niacinamide serum ?? Though I'm a dry skin person but I generally get acne when I apply reach creams like this one..
Hi Neha, thank you for the lovely comment. Yes, I think this cream can be applied on top of niacinamide. I think this cream is rich but hopefully it will not cause you any breakouts because it is a really nice and gentle cream. Let me know how it goes for you. I hope this was helpful. 😊

Hello, loved the review. I have oily t-zone and dry textured on other parts of my face. For last few days both my cheeks feels like they have an extra layer of rough patch on top. I tried exfoliating didn't work. Will this cream help with that?

This cream is actually supposed to be great for oily skin and dry skin. It is light-weight enough that it works for oily skin but also provides a great level of moisture for those areas that are more dry. For me when I get those dry areas on my face, typically in the winter, I use my moisturizer and follow that up with some petroleum jelly (Vaseline or Aquaphor for example) over the dry areas . The petroleum jelly really helps seal in the moisture and hydration from the moisturizer and helps repair my skin barrier. This moisturizer is also supposed to be safe for sensitive skin, but always do a patch test first to make sure your skin won’t have any reaction.
What kind of exfoliant do you use? Is it a chemical exfoliant like an AHA/BHA or a physical exfoliant like a scrub?

@@User1to100 I really like the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. I think this one would be great for oily and combination skin. I only use it one to two times a week as part of my nighttime skincare routine. When I use this exfoliant I don’t use my retinol (to avoid skin irritation or dry out my skin too much) I just cleanse my skin, apply the exfoliant with a cotton pad and then follow up with a moisturizer. Also, you don’t need to use too much of this exfoliant just 3 to 4 drops is enough. For the first few weeks when you use this maybe start with once a week. Just to get your skin used to it and see how your skin reacts to it. Anytime I start a new product I like to slowly introduce it into my routine to avoid any reactions with my skin. 😊

I use retinol, but once a week I use a BHA. I've been using the Paula's choice, but I think I'm gonna scope out the glow recipe strawberry BHA/aha serum or the watermelon pha/BHA toner.

Hi Amy!!! Honestly, I am loving this moisturizer, especially for the warmer months, it feels really light and hydrating, but still has a nice richness to it.
I do love that sunscreen life as well, it is the one thing that can actually help with anti-aging, let me know which moisturizer you end up getting.
The Paula's Choice BHA is great, so is their retinol and their vitamin C is pretty good as well.

I like to use this as both my daytime and nighttime moisturizer. For daytime, I apply this moisturizer after my vitamin C serum, and on top of this moisturizer I apply my sunscreen (an absolute must). When I use it as part of my nighttime routine I apply it after my retinol and sometimes I will apply an oil on top of this or the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 (on nights when I need more moisture and want to look like a glazed doughnut). This moisturizer really hydrates and moisturizes the skin and does not leave a greasy look or film on my skin. It absorbs really nicely and makes my skin look and feel moisturized, hydrated and plump. It does leave a bit of a dewy glow behind but again it does not look greasy. Hope this helped, sorry if I was really detailed, I really love skincare. 😊

Can I use it if I have perioral dermatitis???
I am cautious to recommend this product if you have perioral dermatitis because one of the many potential triggers for perioral dermatitis is certain moisturizers or heavy creams, especially creams that contain oils because they would be considered too heavy (even though this cream has a light-weight texture and feel, it may be to heavy for your skin). This cream contains several different oils (apricot oil, Oryza Sativa Bran Oil/Rice Bran Oil, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil/Olive Fruit Oil, Soybean oil, to name a few) which may aggravate your skin. I would say to be safe maybe speak with a dermatologist or family doctor if you can about what products would be safest to use. I'm sorry I could not give you more information but I think it's best to be on the safe side when it comes to any skin condition. Is it oil free non comedogenic won’t clog your pores sensitive skin
It is not oil-free (it contains a few different types of oil) but it is not greasy at all. Kiehl's do not claim that this cream is non-comedogenic, but they do claim that it is good for all skin types, even sensitive skin.
i m 40 can i use this after kiehls midnight serum i want bright skin
Yes, you can absolutely apply this after the midnight serum. This will help lock in some of that hydration from the serum.
How do I use this with sunscreen ?
Sunscreen is the last step in your skincare. Apply your sunscreen after/on top of your moisturizer.
What’s better this or Cerave ?
They are both amazing it just depends, if you have oily skin I would recommend the Kiehl’s it is a bit more lightweight than the CeraVe cream. But if you have normal to dry skin they are both great options it just comes down to how much you want to spend. I will say if you have REALLY dry skin I would opt for the CeraVe cream.

KIEHL'S ULTRA FACIAL MOISTURIZER MFG in 01/2021 so when will be the expire date?
The expiry date is on the container. If you look for an open jar image on the container, this image usually has a number in it (eg. 6M, 12M, 18M, 24M, etc.) that indicates the number of months the product is usable for from the date you opened it. Let me know if this helps.

@@rojaynarahman9522 if your jar says 12M that means you can use that product for 12 months once you have opened it, so up to a year after you opened the jar. Since you opened 3 days ago you should be good to continue using it for the next 12 months. Let me know if this helped. 🙂

Is this safe too use on accutane?
I think this is safe to use with Accutane. It is a good moisturizer that can provide a good level of moisture and hydration, feels lightweight, and it is fragrance free. I always recommend doing a patch test with any skincare product to make sure your skin doesn’t react, but I do think this is a good option. Hope this helps. Thank you so much for watching my video. 😊

Is this acne safe ?
It’s supposed to be safe for acne prone skin but it really depends on your skin and how it reacts to it. For example when reading the reviews one individual who suffers from hormonal acne said this cream worked really well for them, while another said that in made their skin breakout into small bumps. I would say it’s best to always do a patch test first when trying a new product because everyone’s skin reacts differently.

Thank you so much for watching my video it really means a lot. I completely understand why some don't like or worry about using the brand of petroleum jelly Vaseline on their face. If you have oily skin or acne prone skin I would maybe not use it, but for dry skin or on dry areas of the skin it is completely safe to use. Lots of dermatologists actually recommend using Vaseline or petroleum jelly on dry areas of the skin, runners actually use it when they run in cold weather to prevent windburn on their face. I think as long as you have a good skin cleansing routine in place and use a chemical exfoliant a couple times per week you should not have any problems. Interestingly enough there is petroleum jelly (also known as petrolatum) in a lot of skincare products which we may not realize: the CeraVe Healing Ointment and their popular moisturizing cream, the Eucerin Aquaphor Healing Ointment, Paula's Choice Intensive Repair Cream, and the famous La Mer cream (it is the third ingredient on the list) just to name a few. Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I actually use this as my moisturizer on top of my retinol. It provides great moisture and hydration. I would say if you notice a lot of flaking with your tretinoin maybe don’t use it as frequently or maybe add your moisturizer before your tretinoin as a buffer and the apply your tretinoin. Also, in the winter I like to add some Vaseline as a last step in my nighttime skincare routine (under my eyes and around my nose) to help provide my skin with more moisture on nights when I’m using my retinol and it also helps lock in all that moisture from my moisturizer. How long have you been using retinol/tretinoin?
