The blueberry cleanser sounds great as a “restart” cleanser. Like you’ve neglected skincare for let’s say a week and you can feel it needs a GOOD cleanse. Or in the summer and you’ve been sweating excessively plus sunscreen residue is on the skin. A single K.O. Cleanser
I work outside and wear sunscreen and sweat all day, nothing makes my face feel so clean like the blueberry cleanser! It’s my favorite cleanser I’ve tried. It’s a little drying but not in an uncomfortable way for me, it just makes me feel properly clean.
As an older person I honestly love the avocado eye cream. I think it’s thickened/ tightened the skin under my eyes and does work on puffy eyes. I am so grateful for your introducing me to a range both me and my daughters love to use.
The first 2 minutes were beautifully phrased! Starting my relationship with skincare I was breaking my skin barrier and had to go to the basics for TWO YEARS. When my skin finally healed and is now stronger I got back to products with the added pleasure experience rather than stay on the route of safe, healing only. I finally love to do my skincare because of that 😊
You DEFINITELY put me onto Glow Recipe (I've been influenced smh) but they're SO good omg. The packaging is so cute and the products actually work. ALSO I'm so glad you brought up the Cerave Cult!!! I don't care for Cerave at all and the packaging makes me feel like a patient.
You put me onto the watermelon glow toner and it is now my absolute favourite product now! I also have rosacea and no product helps soothe my redness or even out my skin tone like that one! I swear after just one use I can already see an improvement in my skin if I've missed out a few days of proper skincare. It also absorbs nice and quickly and stacks beautifully with other products so you can move on with the rest of your routine right away. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get into glow recipe!
@@luvlost03have you ever used it? It may be an exfoliating toner, but it’s still incredibly soothing and hydrating. That’s what makes it such a good product - just like James said in the video.
@@brynaidler6366Not OP but I use it directly after cleansing. It's not a hard rule, but a general guideline is to apply thinnest to thickest after cleansing; toner, serums, then moisturizer. Eye creams can depend but when I use one it usually goes on after my toner
Your actually the one who got me me hooked on Glow Recipe when I first started my skincare journey and let me tell u it’s changed my life. I now have tried every product and I am obsessed. I just started using the firming serum and so far I love it so much. My skin has never been better!! ❤ Having healthy dewy skin has really helped with my confidence and has played a huge part in helping with my mental health so thank you
I’m so upset with Glow Recipe for taking away my holy grail banana moisturizer. I can’t even buy from them anymore because it actually pains me. That moisturizer did it all for me - it cleared up my acne prone skin, moisturized my dry skin for like 24 hours straight, and it looked amazing under makeup! I normally have at least one breakout going somewhere, but when I was using this daily my skin was clear (only the occasional single zit sometimes) for TWO years. I was so happy! Then, I went to repurchase and was beyond heartbroken to know it was discontinued. I even bought a backup on Amazon for fucking $80! But I’m so sad about it. I’m on a journey to find a new moisturizer that does it all for me, and my skin has been a wreck as I try to find something else. Absolutely devastated.
i never got to try it but i heard that it just wasn't popular. i guess bananas aren't a cute enough fruit to obsess over? i was interested in it but i think their marketing with the banana moisturizer was barely existent. but when i checked again, it was gone. i do hope they bring it back.
Only thing I can recommend is, if you still have an old bottle, look up the ingredients and whenever you find another product you want to try, compare the ingredients! It's very tedious, but I know how it feels to get stuck on something and then have it be discontinued. 😅
I totally agree about the idea of them releasing a thicker night cream! I recently started tretinoin for my cystic acne and it has worked wonders, but it has lead me to load up with thicker moisturizers at night. I love using some of Glow Recipie's products during the day but I would definitely want to try a thicker "repair" cream if they released one.
The watermelon glow pore-tight toner is my absolute favorite skincare product now and I bought it after your last Glow Recipe review. It’s been amazing and has changed my skin so much! I use 3 different products from Glow Recipe now and I’m slowly building up my collection as I learn more about my skin.
Glow Recipe is the only skincare I invest a good amount of money in, because it’s just perfect on my sensitive skin. I do keep my routine basic with the avocado cleanser, the fine mist, vitamin c eye cream and plump plump cream, and it’s done wonders to my skin. Thanks for getting me invested into this lovely brand 💜
I would love to see you build a day and night routine with all glow recipe products! I have several I'm interested in but am not sure which ones to combine when and where :)
I usually don't get "influenced" by influencers, but James really has me wanting to try Glow Recipe 😂. It's on the pricey side though, in my country. But I love the colors of the packaging and I trust James's reviews.
I wanted to try it so bad I ended up getting one of their mini kits. They were so very nice I had to replace them with the full sizes one piece at a time lol, but the shipping is definitely super expensive unless you can spend a whole lot of money
The watermelon mist is soooo good over makeup!! It makes my makeup look dewy and more natural but not oily Edit: I completely agree with your review on the sunscreen. It’s difficult to rub in and it pills easily throughout the day.. so sad because I wanted to love this so bad
You know what also pills horribly? Is the AHA watermelon night mask.. that is terrible:( I have a bunch of their products and love all of them- except this. I purchased the big one and I can’t even use it. I’ve tried using way less to see if that helps but nothing works. It’s awful..
I generally love Glow Recipe, but the one product that hasn't been great for me is the lip pop. I definitely have an issue with being "addicted" to lip products, as in, I think I overuse them and that just makes my lips way too dry without them. But the lip pop seems to last for way less time than what I use now, the ELF Ride Or Die lip balm. At that GR price point, it's not effective enough ... even though that scent is also totally addictive!! The soft hint of color is really nice too.
I haven't watched yet but that avocado cleanser is the best thing I've ever used on my skin, it gets so soft and once I started using it I've never broken out again
Would love to see a daily morning & night routine using only Glow Recipe products to see how you put together a full routine of your fav products from them!
Yes!!! All of these products sound so great, but I’m definitely overwhelmed thinking about how to put together a routine without redundancy or contraindications
This intro is perfect… completely spot on comments about what skin care can provide for people outside of just healing, curing skin conditions. Love your articulation & videos. Thank you for sharing your content x
Would you consider doing a dupes video of some of these products - if they even exist, of course 😅 I love how thorough and honest you always are, thank you!
One dupe product I found is the Yes to Watermelon Daily Gel Moisturizer. I originally found it at Target and it works pretty good for my skin and for a while seemed to be the only moisturizer that worked well in winter. I don't use it as much anymore because I'm trying to find more products and honestly I think I'm going to switch back to Glow Recipe and try the Plum Pump, but if you want to try any dupes I'd recommend Yes to Watermelon.
Watching this with the strawberry smooth serum on my face and Cerave moisturizer on top 👀 Bought the serum with no expectations and my skin absolutely loves it!
Oh my gosh James!!! I used to watch you alot maybe 4 or 5yrs ago. I Haven't been scrolling UA-cam much lately. But today I was, and I clicked on your vid and WOW! Look how many subs you have now! I knew YOU would!!! I've always thought your vids are sooo relevant and informative, straight forward and genuine ❤❤
After never being taught the benefits of skincare or really putting any effort into caring for my skin (besides sunscreen), i made the decision to care for my skin the way i would care for the rest of my body. I bought the mini babies set as a way to get into skincare, not knowing much about what each of the products do. Wanting to learn more i stumbled across your video and just wanted to say you are such a wonderfully informative UA-camr. You really provide a comprehensive rundown of the products and make beneficial comparisons between their other products. Thank you for putting the time into your videos! Really appreciate it 🥹🫶🏻
I started watching these videos about a month ago and have been binging them. I’m definitely a CeraVe girl and it was always effective but now that I’m no longer a broke college student I’m slowly starting to buy some products I’ve seen here and other channels for the exact reason that I want to really enjoy my skin care as a part of my self care routine. Thanks for always providing a realistic approach to skin care and your transparency with products!
I really do like the watermelon range, as well as the avocado serum and vitamin c serum. I developed deep cystic spots when I used the strawberry serum. I went back to it, in case it wasn’t that product but had the same result. I use it on my upper arms now and they are looking better.
You got me onto Glow Recipe and I’ve now become obsessed with it. My skin just loves their products, plus the packaging is super cute! My skin thanks you, my purse does not 😂💕. Xx
I received a sample of the watermelon toner and serum for my Sephora birthday gift. I was not expecting to like them, but I really think they've made a difference in my skin's overall texture and tone. I 100% agree with your comment that skincare for some of us is a user experience. I want it to smell nice and feel nice. I'm not sure if I'll purchase the full size, but I definitely want to incorporate niacinamide into my routine. Thank you so much for the thorough overview of all the products!
My skincare routine is now about 99% Glow Recipe products. I’ve always had a hard time with sunscreens. The smells, the texture, the breakouts. This one actually works for me so I’m finally wearing sunscreen on my face! 😅
Perfect timing for this video. I also have rosacea and have been using several Glow Recipe products you've recommended. My skin has been liking all the ones I've tried so far. I use the Plum Plump serum + cream at night and in the morning my skin feels so soft. Definitely going to try the avocado cleanser next!
I honestly feel like Glow Recipe is my fave Vit C serum and I was always wondering why other skinfluencers don’t mention it very much either- glad that it got your seal of approval! It has helped my PIH from rosacea’s reign on my face during Covid and saw results 2-3 months of daily use and within a year I also saw evening skin tone, less PIH, and I finally feel comfortable walking outside without a full coverage makeup look like I had to during 2020-2021 when my PIH was really bad. I thank Glow Recipe for it! ❤
Thanks to you James I love Glow Recipe! I started using the Plum Plump cream & it’s been wonderful. Now I really want to try the avocado cleanser for my “winter cleanser”, the strawberry serum, & the pomegranate serum. And like I hate the idea that skin isn’t effective if it’s not clinical.
I've only used a couple of Glow Recipe products and really loved them. But I'm OBSESSED with their packaging. The bottles are so beautiful especially that new pomegranate serum 😍
I love their packaging too! I’ve washed out my empties & refill with my current products (I’m guilty of always trying something new when I run out of products).
I love their packaging too but some of them are shaped oddly and it makes it really difficult to get out the remaining product- even when it’s still half full. I end up having to pound the bottle like it’s ketchup and I still don’t get anything out. I wish they’d put more of their products in tubs like the plum plump cream
Glow Recipe need to Sponsor you!! I love your reviews and have really started getting into skincare (later in life) because of you and am loving the few Glow Recipe products I have been using. Thank you so much for your honest reviews!
The toner was a GAME CHANGER for me! I Also have large pores and rosacea, and I saw immediate results! I'm sooo curious about the vitamin C serum for my morning routine... going to try that next!
I love Glow Recipe. I've been using them for about 5 years and have always had great results. The Banana Souffle was a great night moisturizer or for day in dry cold climates. I'm so bummed they discontinued it. I also find the avocado eye and night treatment to also be too thick and lacking in retinol. Plus the color looks like avocados that have turned. The original formula of the night mask was so much better at holding in moisture. Edit; I hated the sunscreen. With in a few minutes my eyes were burning, plus it pilled, and on top of Glow products!
Your channel has me inspired to get a bit more into my skincare to manage some of the damage of my dermatillomania as well as a self care avenue, and I was curious about Glow Recipe because their youtube had videos focusing on care tips for that condition which was non judgemental and compassionate. Seeing a skincare company that acknowledges the existence of dermatillomania and is kind about it really warmed me up to trying them out, so hearing some reviews is super helpful.
You have AMAZING timing. I’ve been rewatching your older video on Glow Recipe and really wanted to see what has changed lol. (Thanks to you) I got my travel set in the mail yesterday so I can try everything before buying full sized :)
I love seeing how different people react to products! I’m the opposite with the blueberry cleanser and avocado eye cream. I thought it was stripping for my oily skin and it wasn’t the worst I’ve tried but it was disappointing for Glow Recipe so I got so excited when they released the avocado cleanser. I use the avocado retinol eye cream more like a mask and blend it out over my face, concentrated in the eye area. I also still prefer the Banila Co balm over others even Glow Recipe’s papaya. My only issue at this moment is how small the plum moisturizer is; I’d love a bigger size. My holy grails are the watermelon toner, plum plump moisturizer, and lip pops ❤
I purchased some Glow Recipe because of you. Thank you. Great video. Going to rewatch and make notes as I do of the additional products I want to purchase. 💜💜💜💜
I like how Glow Recipe listens to their customers. It's great to see a company care about shelf stability. I really want to try them once my skincare stash isn't out of control.
James, you did a great job reviewing Glow Recipe. I absolutely adore this brand. Not only do their products actually work but they are packaged beautifully and made with wonderful ingredients. I must say that I 100% agree with your review on these products. I had previously gotten the Fruit babies kit for Christmas and I also got a Tatcha kit. I was told to try the products and see what I liked best and pick some out for my Birthday. I went with all Glow Recipe! I got the Avocado Cleanser, the Watermelon Glow Toner, Pomegranate Peptide Firming Serum, Avocado Recovery Serum, Guava Vitamin C Gel Cream, Plum Plump Hyaluronic Cream, Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment, the Watermelon Dew Drops and a deluxe travel size of the Strawberry Smooth Salicylic Serum & Strawberry BHA Pore Smooth Blur Drops. I absolutely fell in love with the Strawberry Salicylic Serum! It is amazing for spot treatments and just for a daily serum. It truly does have everything in it. I also love the cleanser, the dew drops, the toner, and the plum Hyaluronic cream. The Guava Vitamin C Bright Eye Gel Cream has been my favorite eye cream ever! It doesn’t make my eyes water and it actually works! I am so excited to try the products that I haven’t tried. I had just ran out of everything and am looking at a cabinet full of products that I know I love and some that I am super interested in trying. I love Beautiful packaging so I am super stoked that I found a product in gorgeous glass bottles that I actually LOVE!!!💚💜💚
I have fallen in love with the watermelon toner! That with the dew drops is the perfect makeup prep! Chefs kiss 👌🏻. I had them on my wish list for ages after watching your reviews and put it off because they’re a little pricey but now that I’ve tried them, I get it! Will repurchase ❤
Glow Recipe has changed my skin. I use the plum plump cream at night and i wake up to hydrated skin. My biggest gripe is some of the packaging on the serums are terrible and you cant get that last bit out.
The plum moisturiser is my absolute favourite! The smell is amazing, and not all chemically. The texture is also so lightweight, but not thin, and it never pills under my makeup. If you’re wanting to buy anything from them, this moisturiser is the one!!
This was SO helpful, I've looked at glow recipe so many times and not known where to start, this has pointed me towards things that may suit me and was so informative, thank you x
I really want to try the glow recipe ! The watermelon product really intrigues me ❤❤ Happy Sunday James !!! So happy to see you today !!! Love your channel 💜💜💜💜
I absolutely love Glow Recipe and notice instant results when I use it. I don’t use it every day because it’s expensive but about twice a week as a special treat. You were talking about your dark circles being from thin skin. I also have this problem and recently discovered that there are many vitamins I was deficient in resulting in even darker purplish under eye circles. Vitamin C, vitamin e, vitamin K, Iron, b12, omega 3s, and zinc
You put me onto the plum moisturizer in a video where you said you had multiple pots stashed around and it just looked so nice on your skin I had to try it. I have been hooked on anything I try from them ever since! For all the ingredients/benefits in their products, I feel like they are very fairly priced. I just got the ceramide and strawberry serums a few days ago and I am loving how they feel and work into my routine so far. For sure the plum plump moisturizer is still my favorite though - it's just so nice to use and makes you look glowy and hydrated literally all day long. I was a little disappointed in my first time trying the watermelon juice moisturizer, though - I got a sample packet of it with an order from the website and probably 5-10 minutes after using it, my skin was SUPER red and hot. Not sure if it was reacting with something else I had on my face at the time but it has kept me from trying the toner unfortunately. I may bite the bullet and try it though since you rave about it!
I’m disappointed that the negative criticism of glow recipe pineapple-c serum led to its discontinuation because after YEARS OF texture and uneven skin tone made, that serum fixed everything. 😭
I have the Plum plump balm and its pretty good. It's actually my first Glow Recipe item I've bought. I like that you get a lot of product for the price and you don't need to use a lot.
I love glow recipe. I have ADHD and its hard to remember to do things. Glow recipe smells amazing and because I love the scents its releases dopamine so I enjoy my skin care routine. I never forget to look after my skin anymore. Highly recommend for neurodivergent people. I used the toner for the first time just before I watched this video. Its the best smelling product in the range for sure.
I enjoy so many products from glow recipe also. The one I hate is the cleansing balm. I’ve tried it twice and got the same horrible result. Regardless how little I use the minute I add water it turns into a thick greasy mess that just doesn’t break up. The one product I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I do is the body lotion. It smells divine and fast absorbing. I’ve been adding more products to my routine
I use the Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Serum and I love it. I started it from a recommendation I saw on Dr. Shereene Idriss channel, as I'm a little sensitive to pure c - L-ascorbic acid. At first I thought the 5 vitamin c's were a little excessive and gave it a meh review saying it was like putting a "hat on a hat". However, I went back to it. Why? 1.the price point gives you some very high quality ingredients that are good for more sensitive skin like mine; and, 2. I look forward to using it - it smells lovely, feels luxurious and I want to use it everyday. That's what gets me the results. I'm consistent with it because it feels good.
Yes! Love Glow Recipe! Have just ordered the Pomegranate Peptide Firming serum and can’t wait to try it. I also ordered the Avocado eye cream as I’ve got fine lines and dryness under my eyes, so I’m hoping just a tiny little bit of this will help - particularly with the ‘radiator face’ thing we get in winter. Love your videos. Thanks James!
You actually got me onto this brand, I love it - the Watermelon Pore Tight Toner is so good. When I've had a shocking day, doing my skincare and just smelling this product - knowing it's doing great things for my skin, is the best way to end the day 🙂
Omg I just discovered you!! How have I not seen your videos before ❤😅 You are wonderful to watch and I just adore you 😄 I found your Glow Recipe products review and agree so much with all the best products. There’s a few that weren’t on Sephora in Canada that I’d love to try. Please continue to review their stuff if there’s new things. Thanks so much. I thought to myself - you’d be such a fun friend to have! 😄 Have a wonderful weekend!
I wanted to ask, as someone with Hispanic heritage with a similar skin type to yours I've benefited a lot from watching you, do you have any recommendations for other influencers that are dealing with similar skin but older? My mom is getting into skin care for the first time ever and I want to help her find products for her skin concerns. I've learned a lot from you and I appreciate your science good approach and the fact you are wary of the whole clean beauty industry. My mom is sadly the type that takes people by what they say and I've been struggling to find someone I would trust to not make her buy thousands of dollars on things she doesn't need. She bought one of those LED masks that's 4,000$ when it's actually not going to cover her concerns with her skin. I thought I'd reach out and just ask if you are familiar with any other channels like yours but for older skin. I've gotten the confidence to be able to buy and enjoy skin care again thanks to you and lab muffin and I'd love to find a channel like that for my mom.
100% to that intro. I love Glow Recipe. Obviously not every product is my favorite, but I have quite a few I use regularly that are so pleasant to use and effective!
I absolutely love the Avocado cleanser. You’re right, all it takes is a teeny pea sized amount to do the whole face. It’s so good! My local Sephora has been out of it for over a month, it tried ordering it online and it was also out on their website. I haven’t checked lately to see if it’s back. I also use the toner every single night. Love love it. I really love the scent. It’s such a great sensorial experience
I use mostly glow Recipe products, because I've found some great ones without aloe. Since I'm allergic to aloe, and skincare products tend to use it, I have to be really careful.
Currently on my glow recipe journey and trying all their products I have to say I agree for pretty much all of them. The Avocado Retinol Eye Cream, I'm definitely the person with dry under eyes I do benefit from this product. I find it has longlasting hydration, and is perfect underneath my makeup! I'll crack out my guava one too as I am curious.
Hey, thanks for this. You introduced me to this brand. I asked you to put up the products you were using on an earlier video (and you did), and I ended up getting some of these glow recipe products that you were using in that video, after investigating the ingredients. Thank you so much for your No BS reviews.
I got the glow recipe water melon toner and niacinamide serum as birthday gift last year from Sephora but I never used it until now and I’m loving itttt specially the toner. It smells so good
I 🤍 Glow Recipe, I was obsessed with the sleep mask, then the body lotion, then the dew drops 🍉 So in love with the packaging, the fragrances, the products themselves! So good!
I swear- im living vicariously through you James 😂 I want to use and enjoy Glow Recipe soooo badly but im EXTREMELY sensitive to fragrance. (My whole body is sensitive and reactive to everything, but that's beside the point.) If i use wrong hand soap i get an allergic reaction all down my arms. If i use the wrong toner i get severe reactions all over my face and neck. However... I really enjoy the thought of using a✨️ *lush* ✨️ product that smells great 😌 But I don't have that luxury... Idk. I sometimes get a bit weirded out when I see people online, who were previously loving a product suddenly turn away from it because someone told them "Fragrance is bad." Like "oh my god you're right! Fragrance should be banned from everything, how did i not see this before!!" Like coman dude... if the product works for your skin, who cares. Just enjoy it. Some people want to use it but physically can't, so shut up and enjoy your pink watermelon toner.
I just ordered Glow Recipe because of James. I got the brand new Cloudberry toner because it sounds like it has all my skin needs covered. Also trying some of the other products mentioned here. I'm excited!
I’ve been using glow recipe for about four years now, it’s my favorite! Of course I dip into other things, but I always go back. Favorite is the toner, guava serum, and the new peptide serum. I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive the peptide serum a few months early which made me feel so cool lol.
I love Glow Recipe products as well & have used many but I’m guilty of trying new products when I need to reorder so don’t have any on my counter right now. The comment I wanted to make is relating to your comment on Vitamin C products. In all my 50+ years of skin care I’ve never used C products but about a year ago I decided to try them & have used two brands daily since. I was amazed after about three months the difference I saw in my skin. It just seemed to shine from brightness. I just ordered Beekman 1802 Vitamin C Brightening Serum & anxious to start using it. Love your vlogs & Welsh Twins. You’re both so beautiful. Adele San Antonio, TX
I’m 58 years old and trust me I’ve tried everything 😳😬🤪. I absolutely love glow recipe! I had no expectations when I tried it as my birthday gift. I was shocked at how much I love it.
I’ll be trying my first glow recipe product tonight!! I just got the plum serum and I’m super excited, the packaging is adorable I hardly want to use it lol
I started using glow recipe products, because of your videos and I’m in love with all of them, except for the blueberry cleanser and the strawberry blurring serum. The blueberry cleanser dried the crap out of my skin, and the strawberry blurring serum smells like stinky feet. It feels nice on my skin but I literally had to wash it off the first time I used it because of the smell. I checked the best before date and it’s over a year away so it’s not because it was expired. Maybe it was just a bad batch? I’m glad you reviewed the avocado cleanser because I may order it and try it now. I have been using Vanicream as my facial cleanser and everything else after that is from glow recipe and my skin looks and feels so much better. As a woman of 51 years old going through menopause, I also love the watermelon spritzer when I’m having hot flashes 😂
James, I am trying your advice with Heimish eye cream. It smells really nice. I also got some toboco sunscreen, too. I also enjoy the scent of this too. I'm surprised you suggested it because it smells like....roses or rosewater!! And we all know how you feel about roses. I have a 10 year old son who is redhead who is currently turning into one big freckle. For him, I got the Beauty of Joseon mugwort sunscreen stick and he loves it. Easy application and it's silky on his skin. We can hardly tell he has it on. Spf 50 to save his skin. I wish I would have began wearing sunscreens younger. Better late than never. I'm following your advice, cuz you are more expert and experienced than I am. Stylekorea has so many goodies.
I swear, James could be here talking about the weather and it still would sound amazing. His voice is just perfect. 💜
As someone who is also obsessed with weather… this would be my dream. 😂
@@siobhanfitzgerald1665 😂😂
Yes!!! I just told myself last night that I’d listen to James read the telephone book, but thankfully I instead learn so much!
That's actually interesting how much his voice changed over time
Yes yes! I love his voice, too.
Your description of why glow recipe works was spot on for me! They work, they’re luxurious, and they make me HAPPY.

i use it for when i need a break from my salicylic acid like when i get a chem peel
oh thanks for the info!
Skincare is such a personal thing! Some people will love something some will hate it. Can’t please everyone! X
Yes totally agree!!
Second THIS!
I literally despise their sunscreen! 😭🤣
Yes! They need a real nighttime moisturizer! Especially for us old enough to be James' mom😅😂
I’d love that too! I’d also love another spf 🤞🏻
Also.. I love the concept of you just running through a brands entire website and giving us all tea bit by bit... 👌

This product is an exfoliant and does nothing to sooth skin or reduce redness, especially rosacia.
@@luvlost03have you ever used it? It may be an exfoliating toner, but it’s still incredibly soothing and hydrating. That’s what makes it such a good product - just like James said in the video.

Look into Korean moisturizer-gel creams many I’ve found are extremely similar to banana soufflé
Have you tried youth to the people whipped or farmacy has a pretty good one its the ultra hydrating cermide moistizer
I use 3 different products from Glow Recipe now and I’m slowly building up my collection as I learn more about my skin.
how often do you use it ?
@@nouraa342 twice a day, morning and night
@@nouraa342 its very gentle and VERY hydrating, so you can easily do it every day
Glow Recipe is the only skincare I invest a good amount of money in, because it’s just perfect on my sensitive skin.
Same, I have tried to get some but even the sample sizes are out of my price range for the size, one day maybe lol
I wanted to try it so bad I ended up getting one of their mini kits. They were so very nice I had to replace them with the full sizes one piece at a time lol, but the shipping is definitely super expensive unless you can spend a whole lot of money
It wasn’t pricey before it went “viral”-it makes me sad
The watermelon mist is soooo good over makeup!! It makes my makeup look dewy and more natural but not oily
Edit: I completely agree with your review on the sunscreen. It’s difficult to rub in and it pills easily throughout the day.. so sad because I wanted to love this so bad
I love the sunscreen and don’t feel it pills on me, but see so many people mentioning it.
Do you still like it?
Would love to see a daily morning & night routine using only Glow Recipe products to see how you put together a full routine of your fav products from them!
Seconded. I feel like some of their serums are thicker than their daily watermelon moisturizer and it breaks my brain sometimes.
Great idea!
Watching this with the strawberry smooth serum on my face and Cerave moisturizer on top 👀
Bought the serum with no expectations and my skin absolutely loves it!
Really appreciate it 🥹🫶🏻
My skin has never looked better in my life because of you !!! Thank you so much !!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm recovering from major back surgery and James' voice has been the most soothing thing ever. I love him so much.
Xx
Mean people project their unhappiness to others to make themselves feel better. Know that we love you James ❤
Darling, the way you vocalize what skin care encapsulates is on point 💞
My skincare routine is now about 99% Glow Recipe products. I’ve always had a hard time with sunscreens. The smells, the texture, the breakouts. This one actually works for me so I’m finally wearing sunscreen on my face! 😅
Perfect timing for this video. I also have rosacea and have been using several Glow Recipe products you've recommended. My skin has been liking all the ones I've tried so far. I use the Plum Plump serum + cream at night and in the morning my skin feels so soft. Definitely going to try the avocado cleanser next!
Always here for YOUR specific rating of it because I like your rating scale and it makes you happy to use what you love from them and educate us. ❤
James welsh does :-)
Thanks to you James I love Glow Recipe!
I really appreciate this one, James! I would love to have everything they make but that's way beyond my budget, so this is great info!! 😊
I got hooked on their watermelon toner! It’s a great everyday toner for me and I’ve noticed a difference in my complexion.
I love James and Robert they are amazing beauty gurus and they are so educational with a honest an fun twist.
Thank you so much for this long video of things I can't afford but will listen to while studying ❤❤
I totally agree about the watermelon toner. I'll run out and go a few weeks not using it and my skin ~suffers~. It's legitimately so good.
Thank you James for your opinion! I watch all your videos not just for skincare but also because you make it feel like a bespoke skincare story time!!
Glow recipe began my journey into skin care. Love that their products have made me proud of my glowy skin 💖
Thank you for taking the time to make this video !!!!❤❤❤ so helpful !!!!
Thanks James, you converted me to Glow Recipe a few years ago so seeing an update is excellent! ❤
I like this one too. I bought the sample size bottle and it had an awesome affect on my skin.
I’m still using Glow Recipe and still loving it! On top of the line being great, it’s wonderful that the prices are reasonable.
You definitely influenced me to give them a go and I have zero regrets! Really awesome products. I appreciate that your review felt genuine ❤
I brought the avocado cleanser. I absolutely love it. It doesn't dry out my skin, and like you said, a small pea size goes a long way.
If you have a kohl’s near you they might have it. My local kohls is stocked better than my local Sephora
I watch your videos every night while doing my night care routine.m; it’s so calming.
Oh my gosh! You introduced me to Glow Recipe last year and my skin has improved so much! Thank you!!
I use mostly glow Recipe products, because I've found some great ones without aloe. Since I'm allergic to aloe, and skincare products tend to use it, I have to be really careful.
Oh, one of my friends is allergic as well. What are your favorite safe products? I would love to get her some things for Christmas or something
The pink juice moisturizer is the best moisturizer I've found for my oily skin. Nice and light and doesn't disturb my makeup. Love it!
So good!
I have dryer skin and I LOVE the blueberry bounce cleanser I cannot believe you feel it's drying it's so wonderful❤
I miss the Banana Souffle so much. It was my deep moisture holy grail. That coupled with Avocado Recovery Serum was my rosacea dream team. 😭
I swear- im living vicariously through you James 😂
I want to use and enjoy Glow Recipe soooo badly but im EXTREMELY sensitive to fragrance. (My whole body is sensitive and reactive to everything, but that's beside the point.)
If i use wrong hand soap i get an allergic reaction all down my arms. If i use the wrong toner i get severe reactions all over my face and neck.
However...
I really enjoy the thought of using a✨️ *lush* ✨️ product that smells great 😌
But I don't have that luxury...
Idk. I sometimes get a bit weirded out when I see people online, who were previously loving a product suddenly turn away from it because someone told them "Fragrance is bad."
Like "oh my god you're right! Fragrance should be banned from everything, how did i not see this before!!"
Like coman dude... if the product works for your skin, who cares.

Wow that's a lot of products! Great to know your current opinion on their products, I'll keep this in mind for Christmas shopping
P.S. Thanks for the time stamps with each product description and review so anyone can go back through and investigate.
Glow recipe is in my top three favorite skin care. These reviews seem fair and as an oily skin person I also found some new things to try out. ❤
