This was an excellent tutorial! Thanks! However, before I saw this video I was trying to create favorites with the PC software. Since then none of my favorites will scan. In the lower box it says "Scan mode, nothing to scan." This is the same for the discovery favorite I setup. Also, in the "select your service types" tab nothing is clickable. Help!
I have followed step by step. When you got to the part where the discovered should e and your custom 1 says on...mine still has 3 dots. What did I miss?
Following the video using Discovery, it all seems to work (and Auto-store is on), yet when I'm done, there are no service types set (no Custom1 for example and I can't toggle anything to 'on') and I get the Nothing to Scan display. It seems to either be not saving to a favorites list like you show or who knows......yes, I do get numerous hits and can review them, but it seems like it isn't creating a favorites list like it should. Suggestions?
Did you make sure auto save was on in your discovery settings? That's defaulted to "off" and needs to be on to store them in your discovery favorite list. Also just verify that your discovery list is on. That's a common issue. Hope that helps! Cheers
I am new to my sds100, but ever time I start the unit up it performs a full search, even though when it is done it shows the local systems around me that were set up before. I have tried to set up some favorites in Sentinel, and I have had no luck... any suggestions? I also have done research and read the Owner's manual, which slightly helps.
The last scanner that I had was the 396XT. I've always thought that the build quality of Uniden scanners was unacceptable for the price point. Have they improved any in the last ten years?
I cant seem to hear DMR freeqs on my SDS200, I purchased the key for the DMR and it shows loaded when I click on Upgrade. Any help would be appreciated!!

For clearing out the names when editing, press NO/PRI and it wipes the line out you want to rename

Does clearing all these setting require you to renter the codes to unlock provoice, etc?
After I followed the instructions, Dept shows "unknown" and channel shows TGID:00000. What went wrong?

How I make a favorite list of dmrt3 system ? Is it MOTOTRBO or one ch?

This radio works good but year and a half later provoice does not work radio is quiet something is wrong with it
