🥀Amazing The Brothers Bee Gees are more than a powerful singer song writer talents beyond their own time they loved each other unconditionally they had their up's and downs but what siblings don't. Together they were a threat to other people in the music industry they were and still are amazing! I saw them in Atlanta Ga in 1975 they were so wonderful on stage. They didn't need a studio. They were beautiful inside. I'll forever and always will love them all!

Wait a minute so I didn’t have to buy Hbo max, I could have watched it here. Oh well. I did watch it on HBO. Wow so fantastic. It was so good, and things were presented that I didn’t even know about he bee gees. Loved it.
Barry seems like a good soul. He seems very sad in this doc, I do hope he finds peace.

The “Disco Sucks” fiasco brought a halt to the most exhilarating & joyful time I can remember: in my 20’s, waiting for the weekend when we hit the disco, dancing & singing along for hours, & got home in the early morning, happy & exhausted. I wonder if this has ever given those two disc jockeys pause for thought. Negativity just breeds more of the same. Bless The Bee Gees, their extraordinary talent and the great time the world has had musically because of them. The silver lining is that they were forced to live up to their fullest potential as songwriters & to resurrect themselves. I hope Barry has come to understand that amid the jealous & unhappy cynics, always existed the legion of fans who still love him & the memories of Mo & Robin. All over UA-cam, younger listeners are in awe. Thank goodness, we’ll always have the music.
Beautiful comment, Jacqui! It must have been a great time to be young and free. I was just a child in the 70’s but I vividly remember the Bee Gees. And while there music was always fun to listen to, as a man of almost 50 now, I am amazed at what these guys accomplished together.

After all these decades, if I may, came up with this conclusion.
The Brothers, when they composed & released the SNF (5) songs, supposedly tracks for their next studio album, unintentionally created a masterpiece, at the same level of the renaissance period when Bach & Mozart & Beethoven etc... had their own signature compositions that will forever be etched in history.
What is unique with The Gibb's "accidental" obra maestra, was that it ignited and lingered when the whole 🌎 was dancing, such that for those who lived it, they were all fun memories... and to those who only heard about it, they wished to have a piece of it. Hence, people react to the music as a time machine / treasure of the past.
The thing about it is that, the Brothers themselves had no idea at that time what they have done!
Name me something in the music 🌎 that simply refuses to die to be discussed about and always recalled with fondness & a "feel good" mode?
The BEE GEES contribution to the SNF soundtrack! That's definitely one of the few.
We've seen this phenomena stayed fluctuatingly perpetual, and that warp-drive success, although sustained to a certain lower degree by the group, was NEVER AGAIN, duplicated.
I couldn't have expressed it better, the demo tape that was made at the Chateau de Heroville and is considered the basis for the best-selling soundtrack and second best-selling album of all time (63 million sales) is a milestone in music history and was miles ahead of its time. 👍🔥
