The Ultimate “put the audience first” anecdote: I took my younger brother Brian to a Rush concert in Traverse City, MI. He was very small, standing next to me in front of Geddy Lee’s mic spot. Geddy looked down took my brother’s hand, “Help him up, I don’t want him to get hurt.” Brian sat on stage, a real front row seat, the entire show. I’ll always have a soft spot for Geddy Lee.
I worked front of stage for a few years in college and when I was teaching my 12 year old daughter about going to shows I taught her to learn people's names that work there and let her know that they were there to make sure she was safe and had a good time. When she was 13 and going to shows by herself and getting friends to go with her she was a veteran and understood where to be and how to get there and that the show was the thing, so when a friend wasn't feeling well and getting a little over-heated she could call out to the front of stage guy by name and ask him for some water or for a little help. She told me her friend was AMAZED that she would even consider that. When she told me I was proud of her. Everyone SHOULD know that the show is about the audience enjoying the show. And everything that gets in the way of that should be set aside. Geddy is an ace human being. I've never heard anything remotely negative about him.
In 2015 I built a Suhr replica from my Fender HSS Strat from Pete's Helix demo back then. He had a white Suhr HSS. So I asked on the Gear Page what Electronics, Pickups, etc. John Suhr and Pete Thorn replied to thread. So I purchased everything they suggested, the Pots, Thornbucker Plus Humbucker, V60 singles, treble bleed, etc. Out of all my guitars, this is what I play the most. Thanks to John and Pete for taking the time to talk with their fans.
I've been watching TPS from the very beginning. Coincidentally being a fellow Canadian I have been following Pete's career from the very beginning. I've been waiting for this moment and it's actually happening. My worlds are colliding and I'm loving it 🤯

I genuinely think Pete is one of the most kind, down to ear rock dudes on the Tubes. Thanks for hosting him, and @petethorn, thanks for being an inspiration to us guitar players!
The thing about Pete’s gear reviews is that he shows us how this gear could be genuinely useful , musically, In an arrangement. He’s a great musician who happened to choose guitar. He could have chosen piano and fallen in love with jazz. It almost doesn’t matter what he chose. He hears music, in a very complete way.
His explanations are always useful. He has a video on using a compressor, and it's the ONLY one I've ever watched where the effects he was getting were a) audible and b) understandable.
Pete is one of the nicest guys on the planet and he is such a humble guitar player but my god, he plays incredibly. What a huge talent. Thanks for having him join you. Love to you all.
Despite his modesty, Pete really is one of the best today in my opinion. His musicality just puts him on such a different level. I wish he was part of a permanent line up putting out original songs - it would be great to see him as a full blown popular rock hero, with his songwriting as much to the fore as his technical chops. Hope he finds that alchemy with others at some Point
As a nod to the Classic Rock Show the audio quality is the best of any gig I have ever been to. Saw them a couple of weeks ago and Pete's tone was incredible. I was barely 20 feet from his amp and it was a real joy to hear.
About 15 minutes in, I am absolutely LOVING how Pete is clearly just excited to have a gear geek out! D&M can barely get a word in over him noodling and going through everything
I’ve always had respect for Pete and his body of work but this has given me insight into just how fantastic of a human being Pete Thorn is as well. Cheers to a great episode and guest!
Pete is one my favorite youtube guitarists. I know he hocks gear, but he writes original songs for each one and they're all good enough to be on an album. I just wish he'd put out albums with all those tunes! Thanks, gents!
Wow, great show today guys! Thanks for getting Pete in as a guest. Such a cool guitar player. I just have to mention "Rock-Tips" as a remedy for sore fingertips. As they say it on their website; it is medical adhesive, which is designed specifically for use on skin. It's like a fluid band aid. I've used it myself for years, and it really is good. It will last the gig, and it is not getting in the way of feeling the strings. Recommended! Cheers, Thor

Kinda cool how much Canadian content there is from a show based in England, and oddly all of it is from west of the Great Lakes. All this to say, TPS should do a Canadian Tour ;)

Pete is, to me, the modern rock guitar hero that can play anything and writes incredible music. His Solo recordings bring me back to feeling the music.
After watching many of these pedals shows, I just got the best piece of advice about headspace and nervousness/self conscious. "an exemplar of tone and taste" Tone and taste it's a very subjective matter, I am not sure you can talk that way
Isn’t that the point of comments? If ‘subjective’ isn’t allowed, there would *be* no comments, or they’d be really dull.

Love this fellas! 3 amazingly passionate and talented guys in their absolute element. Literally bleeding for the craft!
Love Pete's playing and UA-cam channel! Ive seen the Classic Rock Show twice now and it's fantastic!!
I first heard Pete way back in his videos where he was breaking down Eruption, he’s just got ‘it’ when it comes to that rock feel. That was a great chat lads. And the colour of that PT sig is just mesmerising. Hands down one of the best looking modern superstrats i’ve seen.
Def an enjoyable hang with Pete! Love his channel, and great to see him here as well. On deck this weekend, a couple shows & a clinic with Andy Timmons in the Southeast, Great way to start a musical weekend! Cheers and thanks for the continued quality of these episodes! 🤘
@PETETHORN such amazing advice Man thank you for your contributions to the rock an roll world. You are a living legend
Fantastic episode! Love what both you and Pete do and it's great to see you in the same room again.
My two favorite channels in one show!
