- Hey everyone! I hope you're wearing a smile today, and I am inviting you to join me for a little lunchtime exploration in the fiery sunshine of summertime!
This is Ao Nang Beach, Krabi, in Southern Thailand, where you WANT to be eating the hottest food (like today's fried chicken and curry noodles) EVERY day for lunch, while spending pretty much ALL the other hours of the day either on the beach.
With a mango smoothie in hand life is GREAT when you're riding your bicycle out on the blacktop where its even hotter than the beach, you're sweating heavily for hours without end and... *or wait, maybe that's just what I've been doing each day here with my friends :-)D
I extended my stay a few more days in this (currently very quiet) tourist town of Ao Nang, as the cases of Covid have made it irresponsible for me to go anywhere else. Making the best of this trip and the extra time here though, I am exploring the cool stuff that lies close at hand - THIS family restaurant of Abraham Muslim Halal Food stands out to me from the very first kilometer everyday, riding down through town you will see it immediately on your left after passing the very first Soi (side street) after the first stop light of town.
Amazing lunch, could not be more satisfied, and I hope you enjoy some more drone shots, and some more info about how life is moving along (slowly but surely!) in the Covid-hampered tourist areas of gorgeous Southern Thailand.

The green herbs/vegetables look interesting... it seems that they are eaten raw.... wonder what flavor they have... we don’t have these vegetables in Australia and I would think it’s predominantly available in the Asian markets not the western markets

Loved the time here in Ao Nang, and I was happy and honored to give some small humble business to these people working SO hard to keep up smiles for the few guests, and to make us feel very welcome. It was HEART warming to say the least. Great month (or so) down here, would love to visit again later this year!

Beautiful drone footage those mountains look epic !! The bird call at the beginning and ur surroundings looks like a tropical paradise but I dont know how you ride in that heat. Whenever Ive been anywhere hot its us in the car with the a/c on diving into shops with a/c lol ,making everyone have a siesta and go out later on when it cools down ❤🥰😅

The heat really was a test down there, can’t say that I’ve done more than just the odd one or two day ride in heat like that, doing it for two weeks on end was quite a challenge. But the clean air made it worth it, for sure, I would do it again next month :-) just would rather have Li there with me :)

Joel that opening view wow just wish I could snap my fingers and be there. I like when your captions tells you something that you would not normally know like the leaf used as a bug repellent. My fatherinlaw always had chickens 100s he feed them only the best grain.Even built his garden into there pen.Chickens just rome the garden and eat vegetables growing right there.Eggs were the best so yolks were beyond yellow and creamy.

It always lifts my spirits when I watch your videos. Loved this even though I don't eat chicken I got hungry 🤣. I could kill a plate of those herbs with sticky rice and chilli dip yum! Would love those livers as well. I know it's odd that I eat chicken liver and gizzards but not the meat, been that way since I had my children.
