Good morning! Yes bro...laap fish with lemongrass is the best 👌. You seemed to find new light every day with the words you uttered...even though you do it for the sake of youtube.
So nice of you Boomer, wow, very specific comment! I do indeed take this very seriously, I know that there are many watching who... well, may not ever have known the love of God, the grace of God, if I can just be a small example then it is a blessing to ME, and I want to be that blessing to others!
Hello Joel and Li, wonderful video as always. Everything looked just delicious and fresh. Being in the states where so much food is from a box or prepared, its nice seeing true fresh things. Looked great. As always, a treat seeing both of you. Stay well my friend
Our pleasure! Andrew, I hear you on that, during the 5 years there studying, man I was just so.... haha so confused in the end, just so confused as to how food is so different (how its even THOUGHT of in such different ways) around the world. Of course Kenya its also very different, in that way its even more in the thinking, but yeah of course what is actually eaten is different and unique as well... Well!! I would love to have a meal with you here, thats for sure! Until then, thanks again for a great comment and some quality support. Always appreciate it Andrew!
This place was pretty surprising to me for Cycling, I knew that the atmosphere would be chill, I knew the weather would be hot, the air super clean… But I just could not believe the gigantic opportunity for Cycling down there. So many reasons why I can’t wait for the next visit… Whenever that will be. Maybe you will be there by then :-) ha ha, not kidding man, that would be awesome
You may not ever noticed this but you're teaching skills are evolving and getting better you have to sit back and listen I heard you say a few things last year and this year a lot of finesse Style and grace awesome not to Pat you on the back it's just a gift may God has given you the little secret of it is anything that God gives us is commanded to grow awesome praise God
What an awesome video ❤️. I love Tilapia and Marion Plums and fresh herbs and veggies. We used to catch fresh Tilapia in Botswana when I lived there. Spent 10 years in Gaborone. Great looking meal. Absolutely love crispy food as well! I always laugh when you have to let your food cool. I think I have a cast iron tongue and hands. Always eat my food extremely hot and drink tea immediately after making it. My children are always shocked when I turn food on the grill with my hands too 🤣 Much love ❤️
So good! Sahebzada, I love that I can write your name without looking, it shows that youve written me enough times that I know your name, which is so cool to me, getting to know (all of you) a bit better is one of the best parts of all of this for me... thanks for joining us again today!
Hey Joel I want something mango it's so neat we were walking along with you and Miss Gorgeous I have so much fun when you going out because we never know what you going to do next haha but it's interesting
Really Diggin that comment right there, I sat for a moment to appreciate that, to think about that… Really like that one thank you Chris. I guess if there’s anything that I’m good at, anything that I’ve been blessed with, it’s the ability to just get excited about whatever comes next… It’s even interesting and a surprise to me! Ha ha honestly… So thank you man, I can honestly and truthfully be myself in the situations, because this is what I have always done during the years in Thailand. So I’m happy to show more, and I’m happy you are there with me man, much love brother
Show the real truth is the Excellence how you've grown I just watching you just on these videos the encouragement is no one can take you gift away because it's been installed by God I don't know if you got the other message but I said anytime God gives you a gift it's commanded to grow amen
Amen amen wow, again I almost don’t know what to say, you blow me away sometimes with the massive amount of support and love in these messages. Thanks a lot Chris, man, thank you
Mr Bruner This is Adora! To be able to see you so GREATFUL on your videos so humble says a lot about you. I am so amazed every time. Your videos are superb. There is no way to describe how kind you have been as you go towards others. You should be proud of yourself. Thank you once again for your time on this journey along with your amazing partner she is a great helper and so kind and pure. Thanks.many blessings!
Your messages are also a huge blessing, I can just smile thanking God for the opportunity right now to do what we are trying to do… It is really fun, and it’s just awesome to have people like yourself enjoying it. That is a blessing on its own and it is wonderful just for that!!
Maybe one day! But Ankon, honestly my enjoyment comes from the journey (maybe cycling has allowed me this? taught me this?), it really is 90-95% of the enjoyment of anything! So thank YOU for being a part of that for me!!
Richard! Great question, something that Mark Wiens and I talk about frequently... when it comes to "normal food," meaning things that you can order straight off a menu, then No. Nothing is too spicy. But that doesnt mean that there havent been times when I was absolutely crying and laughing in pain, its just that I like it! But for ANY food on earth, then of course there are things that are too spicy! Eating a fresh organic Carolina Reaper could honestly kill a person who does not have a spice tolerance already built up, they would go into shock and possibly die! Haha, so yes there are things out there.... but they're just not normally eaten as "food."
Sherry, thats some amazing support, wow, I am very lucky to read a message like this today! Welcome, hope you love all these videos, hope youre having a great day TODAY as well!
Really interesting, never visit there once during my 8 years over there, menu looks really good, you made me mouth watering again man! Nice vlog as always, Thanks for sharing such a great time with us again Joel! You always made me smile Krup!
You should, oh man, Chat, this has always been one of my favorites in Khon Kaen... just found it by chance when searching for unique foods, the Phu Tai dish stood out to me (Ive made another video of this place a long time ago, so thats why I didnt order those same dishes again). Youre awesome, you always take time to write great messages man, thank you so much for that!
Joel when is the coldest month there and the temp? Love the video as usual I really hope to try some of these exotic fruits! And find some of my favorites!!!
Hiiii Kristina :) :) Im sure youve seen (almost every? every single?!?) video by now, do you remember the "Coldest Place in Thailand" video from 2 months ago? That was pretty accurate, and winter here usually last for a few weeks, sometime in January, and the lowest temp I have ever seen (not on a mountain, but just in town) was 7 C. Very cold when no house unit has ever heard of central heating.
the foods looks very delicious. i'm not a big fan of eating fish but those dishes looks very tempting. that merion mango fruit looks very interesting, haven't come across that even when i was in asia. have to keep a close eye for that next time.
Thanks for visiting again Thiam, really happy with all your comments! Honestly, you always just give your opinion, I appreciate it so much! Right on, happy Wednesday to you, hope to see you again soon!
No bingeing necessary, but I do hope you enjoy each one for what it is :) I always make the videos each on their own, still having fun doing it like this :)
I do, and I love to do them, and I have quite a few videos on this channel from different tours Ive done... Do you mean give tours? Yes, I am also interested in that too, but I can only speak of 2 different experiences for this (as opposed to dozens and dozens of times just on my own). Write me an email please, I would love to talk about your ideas (if you are asking about designing a tour) - joelbrunervlogs@gmail.com

Rock on man thanks for the support and thank you for watching these call older videos. The food in this part of Thailand is really special man, I miss it often
I'm not familiar with ma-yong cheet, but I have had maprang (มะปราง). I wonder if they may be a variety or even an alternate name for the same fruit? Your description sounds very much how I remember them. Thanks so much for sharing to both of you, and thank you for including your conversations with the folks you meet. Loving the laab.
Hey Michael! Awesome comment - I am still unsure whether they are different cultivars of the same species, or if they are just closely related... but I have definitely seen intentional mis-representation, just to claim a higher price, because most people (myself included!) have a hard time telling them apart! Awesome to have you with us today Michael, super big Laap cheers to you my friend! Have a great day!

Oh my God , that looks awesome ... I will get there Joel !!!
My mouth gets so watery just looking at all the veggies 🌶 in the dishes you eat🙂
So good, haha, hey huge Chili cheers to you right now!!!
Blessings

You may not ever noticed this but you're teaching skills are evolving and getting better you have to sit back and listen I heard you say a few things last year and this year a lot of finesse Style and grace awesome not to Pat you on the back it's just a gift may God has given you the little secret of it is anything that God gives us is commanded to grow awesome praise God
I appreciate that Chris, as always man, incredible support from you.
So yamyyy food 😋🍀🙏❤️🤗😍👍
What an awesome video ❤️. I love Tilapia and Marion Plums and fresh herbs and veggies. We used to catch fresh Tilapia in Botswana when I lived there. Spent 10 years in Gaborone. Great looking meal. Absolutely love crispy food as well! I always laugh when you have to let your food cool. I think I have a cast iron tongue and hands. Always eat my food extremely hot and drink tea immediately after making it. My children are always shocked when I turn food on the grill with my hands too 🤣 Much love ❤️
Odette:):) ❤️ Another beautiful comment and I am just impressed :-) OK OK I’m gonna go read some more :-)
@@JoelsTastyRide you guys are amazing. Much love and thank you for always answering comments ☺️
The yam plaa duk Foo looked amazing!
I love the uplifting and kind atmosphere always present in your vidos.
So good! Sahebzada, I love that I can write your name without looking, it shows that youve written me enough times that I know your name, which is so cool to me, getting to know (all of you) a bit better is one of the best parts of all of this for me... thanks for joining us again today!
What a unique dish with catfish.
Thanks for watching Jeremy, cool man, have you ever had catfish?
@@JoelsTastyRide Yes, I live in southern America where its served fried a lot.
LOL, I just love Li..." I'm moving so slow right now" comments. :)
Haha Oy! You always get group messages, thanks for joining again

Wanna see you as a top food reviewer..❤️
Maybe one day! But Ankon, honestly my enjoyment comes from the journey (maybe cycling has allowed me this? taught me this?), it really is 90-95% of the enjoyment of anything! So thank YOU for being a part of that for me!!
@@JoelsTastyRide ❤️
Just rewatching some!!! I know I’ve never eaten the skin on a catfish but look forward to trying it!!! You and Li are just too cute! Leftovers??? lol

Hi Li and Joel. Hope you made it back ok and that the drive wasn’t too bad. Blessings. Take care.
Francesssssssss so much love, thank you for asking!!! Yes, we are here safe and sound, and Im off again tmrw... to the South!
Hi Joel and Li happy eating ...first
Morning! Cherise, youre amazing, thats so awesome the support today.... much love
The fried cat fish looks great. I'll have to find it out here in Arizona
Suzanne please let me know if you find it!! :) Good luck!
I am amazed at your chili spicy tolerance. Is there anything that is too spicy for you Joel? Love your positive vibes as usual.
@@JoelsTastyRide I remember a vlog with you and Mark eating a reaper... you guys are nuts!!!
Love you, from Zimbabwe ❤
Yum
Mark! Hey man, have a good one today!

Marilyn haha cheers to a good DROOL :) ❤️ And a happy Monday
Looks delicious!!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤
This place has been calling me for a long time with that beautiful poster of theirs, every time I visit Khon Kaen. Now I know I need to try it!
Im happy you recognize it, you do have a good sense for food! I dont think they have Yam Tua Ploo, but you might ask them to make it! ; - D
@@JoelsTastyRide oh yea!!! That’s right sometimes I forget to look when the video was posted. Ok cool! Thanks Joel 🤗
the foods looks very delicious. i'm not a big fan of eating fish but those dishes looks very tempting. that merion mango fruit looks very interesting, haven't come across that even when i was in asia. have to keep a close eye for that next time.
Thanks for visiting again Thiam, really happy with all your comments!
Honestly, you always just give your opinion, I appreciate it so much!
Right on, happy Wednesday to you, hope to see you again soon!
I promise to Binge watch the videos I missed.
Hi Melgie! Missed seeing you this weekend. Hope you are well 💗
Bless Up Lady Cha0s and have a blessed and happy Easter 🐣 🐣🐣 Hope all is well. 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰
No bingeing necessary, but I do hope you enjoy each one for what it is :) I always make the videos each on their own, still having fun doing it like this :)
Carli
Happy Easter!!!
BrotherJoel, do you do cycling tours?
I do, and I love to do them, and I have quite a few videos on this channel from different tours Ive done...
Do you mean give tours? Yes, I am also interested in that too, but I can only speak of 2 different experiences for this (as opposed to dozens and dozens of times just on my own). Write me an email please, I would love to talk about your ideas (if you are asking about designing a tour) - joelbrunervlogs@gmail.com
Yes more laap !!
Trackside yo YO! Hhah, heres to that, CHEERS to another Laap!!
I really can see why this is one of your favourite restaurants. That 'yum pladuk foo', that 'tom yum' that... oh everything. Didn't have breakfast this morning so now this really made me feel like I'm starving.
This is awesome P Ying, you have good eyes and a good sense ;) I hope you find some breakfast very soon though, maybe even some TomYam??? ♥️
Everything looks so good.. They don't have thai food like this in California :(
Hiiii Nina! I am happy to have you here, thanks for watching this video, I wonder though about California, I’m surprised to hear that… I know there are so many people from Cambodia and Thailand and Laos, I’m sure there is authentic food just like this
Awesome episode Bro 👊🏼😎
Rock on man thanks for the support and thank you for watching these call older videos. The food in this part of Thailand is really special man, I miss it often
@@JoelsTastyRide a partner of mine who is Cambodian, but has a strong Thai influence turned me on to this cuisine. 💜 all the episodes so far 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
Good evening Joel, the plums you got, kinda resemble an apricot?
I've tried a plum apricot cross called pluots.
Josephine! Amazing message, and yes I see Tara already answered what I was going to say...
Yea these are so similar they can even be cross-bred, so COOL! Right on Tara
I definitely wanna try that plum!
