I highly recommand airbnb or hotel for 2 nights only on your arrival. Then show up to places u wanne stay for 1-3 months for a much better price that any website can give you. I always do that and at times, get up to 50% of the prices on websites, at least 30% cheaper for sure.
Rooftop pools are my weakness. That's why I want to visit Bangkok. It has the best rooftop pools with the best panoramic views I've ever seen. Kingpower Mahanakhon is also another reason plus not forgetting the rooftop bars. I wish I could stay in that city forever
We will be there in July for 2 weeks and we are booked for Hilton Millenium Hotel by the Chao Phraya River next to Icon Siam mall. Next time, we will probably stay in Bangkok for a month and maybe stay at an Air B&B. Thanks for this video.
I have a question regarding renting out a condo for a year…. When I get to bkk why can’t I walk up to the condo and ask to see if they have condos for rent instead of going through hipflat etc…?
$50 a night for a condo is $1500 a month high end way more then most will spend 250 on the low end for those that chose to live farther out and 450 to 700 in the city center.
So is it safe to use airbnb in bangkok? Saw articles that says its not allowed to do so and some UA-camrs videos about how people in the building were complaining about them?
I booked a airbnb in Bangkok, after the day trip we came back, our suite case was open,3000$ in Cash and someone was on my tablet...I cant recommend Airbnb, because the owner have always the access to your Stuff,we had a Bad Experience but insurance payed us back in the USA,be carefull with Airbnb in Thailand

Hi Paul. Quarter Poshtel in Ratchatewi is a great place/hostel. We stayed in 2017 and recommend it.

Basically in order to rent, you have to go through an agency/agent. The people at the condo are just the management team, it’s not their position.
@@iPaulLee When I lived in Chain Mai we didn’t use agencies. We walked in. No problem.
It depends on the condo. But most condos here in bkk require agent
Maybe some of the older developments are more relaxed
you can do that,, find a condo you like and go inside,, most have a rental office.. That is what I did.. you dont have to go through an agency
Hey do you have more details on the Airbnb you showed at 3:40?
Great video! Im wondering have you tried negotiating with hosts on airbnb for a lower rate closer to normal price outside of the app ever?

it is safe, as long as you follow the host's instructions. there are 1000s of airbnbs and almost no enforcement
isn’t it illegal to book an airbnb for less then an month
Are you on an elite visa bro?
Nope
Thx for the helpful vid. Is there particular Airbnb / condo options you recommend for 2~3 months stay?
depends on price or location. rama 9 and asoke are good locations
