Hello my friend, I am thinking to go to Bangkok at the end of this years, would you recommend to try find a place in On Nut? I would like to find something not so expensive in a good place. Thanks for your help!

We all know you were the best part of the video Ying 😂 he was very lucky to have you in such an informative video - loved your place and the great neighbourhood and gym.❤
I lived in Bangkok for one year, I stayed close to Silom and paid about 300 USD a month with a pool and a gym. This was back in 2015, great time. I miss it.
When checking out condo prices in Thailand, always ask the unit per baht price for water and electric. Many places offer cheap rent and get you with the high amenity bills.
This. I have been quoted "this is the government rate" from 6 different landlords and they all said something different. Some said as low as 4, others claimed it was 12 baht :D
I really like how you went more in-depth with the neighborhood tour. It gives a nice overview in addition to the apartment details. It was nice to see some specific meal prices, too. Thanks!
New condo units are 30sqm so they can sell more of them in a same building block, make more profits. Condos from the 1980s might look a bit old on the outside but usually offer more living space
$250 ?!! Gosh for the price I was paying for a studio apartment with 2 other people back in 2002. Mind blowing that there are still prices like that in 2024.

Yes, this was a very useful video. Looking to visit Bangkok (and parts of Thailand) at some point and think you may have helped me identify a potentially good place to stay. Having essential amenities nearby is a massive bonus. Thanks.
On Nut was the first place I lived at in Thailand. It was a fairly long motorcike taxi away from the Sky Train. Maybe five minutes. The rent was a lot cheaper than $250. It was somewhere around 4000 Baht per month. I ended up moving to an apartment on Lang Suan Rd about six months later. It was 7000 Baht per month and had air conditioning. Excellent location. A short walk to either Chit Lom or Ratchadamri Station.
