Dont forget "Search for Sites" Its not just for organised sites, it is great for park ups and pub stopovers. Its been invaluable in the uk and across europe. This in no ways puts down the other apps mentioned but the more the merrier right? :)
Watching this in an awning outside my caravan in a farmer's field which offers only a tap for drinking water and an Elsan point (to empty your chemical loo cassette). The surprise is that I have reception on my phone to watch you on UA-cam. Yay....! Enjoying your blogs.
Haha he performed the vanishing act multiple times! If you were lucky enough you can hear him snoring through out too! What a way to big up my new series 😂
I'd also add make sure you know the Highway Code for where to park legally! No one wants to park in what they think is a layby and it's a passing place for example. Always handy to know your rights and Outdoor Access Codes etc :D
I think I could have if Sam was there to watch as I drove under. In the video I didn't show very clearly but I do have solar on top of my roof rack at the back so the clearance would have been about an inch, so any lump or bump in the track could have knocked it 😄
@@nicroams lol I get you I have solar on mine and taller the your I have to be careful you trusted your instant lol enjoy hun looking forward to more stay safe.
Haha not really sure how to answer that. A park up is a place to pull over. If we said park, that would be a recreational field. I think that's the best I can do at explaining the difference for us here 😂
Brilliant ,thanks ,only last night I was driving back to Plymouth from lizard point in Cornwall and ended up A30 layby instead of my intended breakfast beauty spot ,will do the Google maps thing ,great advice thanks 👍
Hey nic, When's ur next video? I hope ur not letting this daft new proposed van life law get to u. Don't let it... Keep going, keep living ur life, its OUR world. Not theirs to dictate! 👍
I don't think I showed it very clearly, but my solar is at the back, on top of the roof rack so there would have been an inch clearance max. Any bump in the track would have knocked the solar on the barrier. When I travel with Sam one of us can spot the other as we go through but I wouldn't risk it on my own 🤗

Ioverlander is worth looking at, it is just a bit scarce for park ups in the UK in my opinion 🤗
@@nicroams yeah I totally agree will have to look this up :) 🤗
Keep up the good work, your van life seems pretty awesome.
Thank you Brandon!

Absolutely, thank you for noting this 🥰
What do you guys make of the upcoming van dwelling laws in the UK?
I think they are stupid 😆
Se.good advice there Nik. Especially regarding Google maps
It's definitely the top app for finding yourself off grid park ups yet to be discovered 🤗
Very helpful tips, thank you 😊
Aww glad they will come in handy! Enjoy finding your own park ups 🤗

Curious, why do they say Park Up in England? Why don't you just park?😊

Haha nope, no way! I took Sunday off to complete the new van build. Back to normal as of tomorrow 🤗
The quieter the better...
So no one can hear the screams 😈
You would of got under that easy

Parking in a passing point. FFS.
That's actually a good tip that I missed! Not to park in passing places 😄
