- Day 10 of our 24 Days of Pilates challenge is a barre inspired Pilates class. Something fun and different but definitely challenging, work through standing leg exercises where you will feel the burn, we then take it to the mat for glute, arms and abs! Enjoy!

Great one! 🙏 Loved awakening the former ballet dancer. But my flexibility is so bad, I just realized that when doing the last part of exercise. Maybe there's a flexibility routine coming up as well? In any case, thank you Lottie! 🙂

I felt the burn, happily. I also felt extremely girly and feminine. I smiled and giggled. I felt like a ballerina. This was great 😊 I'm still giggly... lol not sure why. Thank you

I have enjoyed each of the 24 days of pilates practices so far but this is easily one of my favorites! Would definitely enjoy more barre/ballet practices from you in the future if you felt inspired to make more 🥰 Thanks for giving me something to look forward to every day this holiday season!
Ah amazing thank you Alison. So glad you like this routine and would like to see more of this barre/ballet style classes. I used to teach lots of it in London in my early 20s but I decided to dedicate my time to Pilates but it's always nice to come back to the barre work. Maybe I'll create a nice little ballet inspired series soon! xx

Lottie you have kept me sane over lockdown in Ireland. I do a class most mornings. I particulary like the barre and self love classes. I have been doing pilates for 10 years but you are the Queen. You are so inspiring and have such a strong and powerful physique. Would love some pelvic floor exercises as mine have suffered after having 3 beautiful boys also toning for triceps. ♥️♥️Going to US next month and will be raving about you to friends and family🙏
hello! these series of 24 days pilates have been very helpfull to me. thank u!! i haven t have any exercise for over 2 years, and gained a lot of weight during the previews corona lockdowns... i already feel better with my body, BUT due to my overweight, i m so frightened that i push my knees bending... so i bend just a little, before my knee feels frustrating. is the exercise any good, bending just a little in these exercises??? what should i do not to do any harm to my joints, having more weight?? i m 49 yo
Do I need a barre? I'm on day 10 on the 15th Jan so not being too strict with myself but I'm liking this series and planning to get to day 24 eventually!
This time around the ballet squats were much better and stronger. Don’t get me wrong, they’re a nightmare all the same. What got me was the reverse countdown. Good idea, but it got. Hopefully I’ll be stronger next time.
I've never hated lottie until today 😭😭 the plie was so hard, maybe because i have weak legs. 10/10 would come back to this video again. it makes me feel good but dying at the same time after i've done with the second 8 plie. thanks lottie, i didn't mean it when i say i hate you. i love your videos so much!!
enjoying doing the 24 day challenge but having had several feet operations I cannot do planks or any movement where I have to 'fold' my toes - have you got ANY workout that avoids this please. thank you !

Oh man. That was hard. Men have the worst hammies. Especially when you have back and hip issues!
Underestimated this one bcs the Day 9 exercise was rather easy, but turns out the plie at the beginning makes my thighs shake so badly during the criss-crosses 😭😂

I loved this! Found the 24 days by chance but really enjoying it and this one was fab
When I could still go to the gym, I took several different classes, but always thought barre was the thing actually transforming my body (for the better, of course!). Thanks for reminding me how incredibly challenging it is and how much mad respect I have for the strength of ballerinas. I'm sure I'll feel a lovely soreness tomorrow. If you can, would love to see more barre inspired classes. Thanks again, Lottie.
I am glad I didn't watch this video first because I definitely would have wanted to avoid those squats. Think this was the most challenging one so far but wish there was a bit of a longer abs section at the end so I would have felt a bit more worked there.

I started the challenge out of curiosity without expectations and it's a happy surprise! I look forward to unrolling my mat every day. I am really grateful for your challenge, your patience and your gentleness. My body thanks you. I am so grateful to get to be more aware of my pelvis, that help during the day to take better positions, avoid discomfort and back pain. Finally exercises which respect the body. it's a big revelation and I wanted to thank you for setting up a free challenge. thank you soooooo much 💛💛💛

I'm really enjoying these #24 days of pilates and managing to keep up with this as well as dong daily reformer sessions on my bargain ebay purchase. Thanks for the inspiration! This ballet one was great - you are so graceful ; sadly my plies were not a patch on yours!

thank you for these videos. in minute 16:20 the forward folds, I always have a hard time with those, I really can't seem to fold my back forward, its too stiff, i can only move it around two inches forward. how can fix this? thanks

I definitely didn't look as graceful as you. But one of the nice things about working out at home is that no one is watching you, so you can just enjoy it an have fun... And that's what I did!!! 😃
