That’s a Rotty that probably had a life with good humans at some point, and remembers they’re not all horrible. Dogs have an incredible sense for people who mean harm, and for people who mean well. But it’s tough with the puppies like the 11 month old who’ve never experience anything but cruelty.

How they can abandon ANY of THEM. We human created this mess 😭. Stop buying animals! Pet store don't do background check on where the animals come from. Most of them come from puppy mills. If you have a pet get them spayed and neuter PLEASE. Shelter are over capacity. And a hold lot of them just Euthanize the animal almost as they walk in. It don't matter what it is Cat's, Dog's pregnant females they all get Euthanize.

I got my first (a cat) while I was working at Lowes as a cashier.
Some dude came in & said 'I've got 3 kittens, whichever I can't get rid of right now, I throw in the river.'
Now, Idk if he was telling the truth or not. (Lowes WAS right across the street from a river) But, either way, I got Ruby Rose, an associate took a yellow stripped one and a random customer took the last one, a black one.
My SECOND (a dog, German Shepherd mix) My mom found online with a euthanasia date with a 'No dogs, no cats, no men, no kids' bright red warning lable. I called with my information, to which they originally refused (I lived with Ruby, a man and lived across the street from a school) But I called AGAIN TWO DAYS before his euthanasia date & gave false information & they let me have him. He was a TERROR for like 3 months, but after work he's now GREAT with cats, good with kids, doesn't care at ALL about men & is hit or miss with dogs.
Than I got Luffy, a cat, from my aunt who said he momma was a 'fat male cat' and I took it in at the dead of night to which I woke up with FIVE kittens the next morning. I sold Momma & 4 of the kittens after getting them all their shots & fixing the females. I kept the last one, a grey tiger cat that has WAYYYY too much energy & Im half convinced is part Bangel or something else super intense.

He watched the puppy around the complex and said the kids played with it and he noticed a water bowl but for days the puppy stayed outside and NOBODY would own up to owning her. On the third day of seeing the puppy and kids and the adults all around
He asked, "who's puppy is this?"
    Everyone denied ownership
My Bro said, "She's mine now." He scooped her up and took her with him.
She was about 6wks old then
Now she's 7yrs, spayed, chipped, vaccinated and a spoiled little bossy princess.
Thank you all for doing this and helping these babies
I look at my dog, giving me the side eye cuz it's after 6am and she is ready to go potty
And my heart hurts that she would have had a fate unimaginable if my Bro hadn't decided to take her
When i took ownership of her from my bro she was about 4-5mos old. My heart was closed cuz it had only been a year or so since my last dog a 70lb mixed breed horse, Shepherd, dobie something mix, had to be put down at the age of about 15
    I swore no more dogs
I began to long for a dog in the house but I was also enjoying my freedom to travel with out arranging and paying for boarding the dog and i appreciated not having to roll off dog hair from my clothes every 15minutes and before putting them on. I could have BLACK clothes again without looking like I just rolled around with a brown 🐕 dog.
But i said, in the next year i might get a dog but no more than 35lbs and one that doesn't shed
Well this 7yr old brat came early and against my will. She weighs 53lbs and sheds just as badly as her predecessor...
I grew to love her WEIRD and quirky spunky babyish personality and I wouldn't trade her for the world
Thank you all for helping these animals when SO MANY people are doing them wrong

Yes, this DOES happen...have seen it many times and I still get really angry. On one case...went to investigate and the man refused to give us the dog. I gently picked it up and as I was taking it to the car he yelled..."I"m calling the cops ! " and I yelled back to him..."No need, they are on their way " and he got in his car and left. Never heard from him again. The cops got him when he came back, and in court...we all watched the video of the vet and staff removing the embedded collar. The man got a hefty fine, his other dogs taken away, and due to his behavior in the court room...90 days in jail. The dog...ended up with a good home, so all ended well. Oh my goodness😧, I can't even imagine the pain she was in. No wonder she was so aggressive. Thank you for your service to the ones that cannot communicate for themselves. This is why I am a monthly donor. You Rock!

This is so sad and sickening that someone would do this to such a sweet, vulnerable animal. I can't believe the pain she must have been in. I'm so disgusted by people that would think it's okay to do this and then leave her out in the cold to die basically....I'm so happy your organization found her and helped her and I hope she got adopted by an amazing, loving family 🥰🐶

Why do you assume it was intentional? Their owner could have died or something. Always so quick to assume an evil person was behind it.

@@brahtrumpwonbigly7309 because unfortunately that is the way the world is. There are tons of stories of abuse like this going on everyday. And if you seriously believe that an owner would put a chain on her that tightly and the owner just died and she was left on her own to suffer like that then you are obviously a very naive person. Keep trolling 🤣 Have a beautiful day since you're such a positive person thinking the world is full of caring, unabusive, uncruel, unsadistic people. 👍

@@autumnkrystal2757 and unfortunately I feel like you form part of that. You just jumping to assume someone is evil and not assuming the likelihood that the owners got shot and robbed hence explaining the gun wound in one of the dogs etc. Or even died, or got sick etc just shows you unfortunately form part of this loss in hope for humanity. Don’t be so pessimistic Autumn.

@@bardockojama3423 yes thank you for such an enlightening comment, you don't even know me so don't assume that I form part of that in society. I don't like to see ANY kind of pain or suffering or cruelty upon anyone or any animal, but when it comes to children and animals who are vulnerable and look to us to nurture them, care for them, love them, keep them safe..etc. Just because there was a gunshot wound in an animal doesn't mean anything or that the dogs were even related in their situations that got them to that point. All I was saying cruelty to animals is horrible and now I get all these nice comments. Nice addition you are to society trolling comments to see where you can put your opinion that I could care less about. So move along and try to ruin someone else's day with your insightful knowledge. 🙄

Im…honestly amazed you think anyone saying this could be _literally anything_ but someone intentionally abusing their dog is “ruining your life.”
News flash, it isn’t. Yes, the world is a horrible place, and I admit, my faith in humanity is *long* gone, but even I know that not every dog rescued was abused. Sure, most of them were abused, but thinking all of them were is honestly…kinda naïve and irrational.
You may be thinking that people here who disagree with you are trying to defend people who abuse animals, but they aren’t. Nobody is going to click on a video of dogs getting rescued and start defending the monsters that abuse animals. More likely, they’re just suggesting another, fairly probable cause for this dog’s pain besides abuse.
Go ahead and call me a troll all you want, but in the end, does anything _one_ person says make any real difference? After all, humanity as a whole isn’t even a grain of sand in the fabric of reality.
