The part when dogs see their owners leave 😢 The feeling of being abandoned is a soul crushing. I am glad people like this guy exist in the world to make it a better place
I’m sitting here crying my eyes out, heartbroken for the dogs watching their family leave and not knowing why. Sir, I could not do what you do, and I thank God for strong people like you who can. You’re a blessing. Thank you for sharing this video.
@@natoArtBro4318 What do you propose, Einstein? Why don’t you go adopt one, or donate money, so they can upgrade their “prison” to a Holiday Inn for the dogs.
I do understand that sometimes people get under financial constraints or are basically forced in to housing that doesn't allow pets, or maybe they are a family member or friend of the dog's previous owner who passed. You can't view everyone who surrenders as heartless because you don't know the full story. However, for those who willingly go out of their way to adopt and raise a dog and then later decide it was too hard, I can't accept that. You shouldn't have made the decision to adopt or own a dog then. Period.
@@natoArtBro4318 what do you mean pathetic? How people volunteer or how this guys does everything for this animals? I’m just a little confused of how this is pathetic? The only thing I find pathetic is people giving up their dog, and your comment!
The first time I saw my dog at the shelter I knew she needed out, she just looked defeated and depressed. She had been through multiple homes so even taking her home she didn't get excited. Few days after I got her home she finally opened up and now she's my crazy little love bug. So if you're reading this and don't have a dog yet this is your sign, go get your best friend.
It's all about trust cat's are just the same as dogs when it comes to a new home. They will tread carefully and owners need to accept that thought. For starters you need a peaceful home declutter everything and start afresh. No screaming excitable kids loud TV or music blasting. This is the opportunity to bond. But a lot of people don't get the attention and basically give up. I've had several dogs over the years and they've all came from rescue shelters. They've had their ups and downs but pulled through (Takes Time) but the rewards will flood in 🐩🐕
We adopted a senior dog about 3 months ago. He had been abused, neglected and had a wide range of health issues. We’ve been trying our best to give him the best life, since the day we’ve brought him home. At night he curls up in his blanket and sleeps soundly. He even snores a little, sometimes. We whisper in his ear that he’s loved, he’s safe and he’s home.
@hannaj4032 Thank you. It's been almost 5 months now. He's put on some weight, his coat is thick and he's healthy and happy - He loves long walks and treats. At night he sleeps so soundly. We're trying our best to undo what life did to him for 8 years.
Ive never seen that before, letting the dog watch his family leave when being surrendered-heartbreaking but I get it. We’re so lucky dogs are such forgiving and loving creatures and these dogs are so lucky to have places like this. Cheers to those who do such selfless work.
It reminds me of when people talk about having to put their pet to sleep, but not wanting to be there. Being with your pet during those last moments is HUGE for them & can lower their fear/anxiety, people don't realize how scared they are in those situations. I've had those bittersweet moments more than I can count & it's always worth it to be there in the end with them, even if it hurts.
Also, when I have to euthanize a pet, I take my other pets with me. I put my deceased pet on the floor at the vet and let my other pets walk around him/her and they just know their friend is gone. Before I started doing that, my live pet at home would wander around looking for their friend, my cats would go from room to room crying for their friend, my dogs seeming depressed, lost. Also, I always go in and hold my pet that is being euthanized, telling them I love them over and over. It rips my heart out, but it's not about me at that time, it's about them. I just don't want them to be scared or alone. I also do the same with my old goats that have died, or had to be euthanized. I leave the deceased goat in the pasture before burying them to let the herd that has grown up together walk around their friend. They sniff at and walk around their friend and seem to realize their friend is dead, and adapt better. The hardest part of rescuing, raising and loving our companion animals, is end of life. I pray for mine and tell them they're going to their forever home, I love them, and will see them again...all the while crying like a baby. 😢
@@michelcromwell321 Wow, what an incredible testimonial to the love you have for your animals, bless you and thank you for being such a wonderful person❤️❤️❤️
@@michelcromwell321 I’m not looking forward to that day with my dog but yours and Tom’s posts are amazing and really puts thing into perspective. It reminds of something else I read…the tragedy isn’t that our beloved pets pass on during our lifetime, the real tragedy would have been if they were never in our lives.
Before I even started watching this I said..." Oh no..... I'm gonna cry...". Happy tears obviously but .... there's something about these shelters... and the dogs reaction to being adored that is just so pure. Love is definitely all we need! Getting emotional in 2023!
Wouldn't that be awesome? All the beautiful souls he touched, reuniting in heaven. They say pets are the only things that will recognize you in heaven. Relatives and previously knowns, you will love as strangers as much as every other soul there. My mom taught me that. 🙂 g'day and god bless you
Now thats a Lie! Only those who's Sins are Forgiven inherit the Kingdom of God, because: Ecclesiastes 7:20 KJV: For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Matthew 7:21 - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Romans 3:23-26 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Please adopt an adult or senior dog. They are the ones who need homes the most and since you are, like myself, a senior, you don't want something to happen to you and a young dog or puppy would be left without you....their person....and grieving ❤😢 I have 2 rescues, one is 12 or 13, and my other is maybe 8 or 9. They are my family and I love them more than anything else. I will be devastated if something 💔 happened to them but I don't want them to be left if something happened to me first. ❤❤❤
@@FingerinUrDaughter now that's a terrible take. We need people helping in all cases, saying dogs are "worthless"... That shows us all alot more about you anything else. How about you go help people and let him help animals?
@@FingerinUrDaughter What are you doing to help humans apart from complaining about others? And dogs struggle to survive in the street so you are completely wrong.
I volunteered at a shelter when I first retired and watching an animal get adopted is the best feeling you’ll ever have. This brought tears to my eyes. This guy is right about watching a dog watch his people walk away. The worst was when an owner died and the family didn’t want the animal. Usually that was the only home the dog or cat had ever had and they had NO idea why they were being left. Seeing that happen made me decide I would adopt senior dogs who had lost their owner. Last year I adopted two miniature dachshunds who were 17 and 18 yrs old. Every time I leave the house they’re sure I’m never coming back and it’s so sad to see that. They’re so excited when I return and I hope soon they will forget that terror of losing their former owner. I say all that to say Adopt from a shelter! And if you can, adopt a senior dog or cat. They still have a lot of love to give.
@@user-ps9yy5cb6f A lot of shelters have foster programs that pay for medical care when a dog or cat is fostered in a home. It’s an excellent way to get animals out of a cage and into a loving home.
@@KelAZ1 How are they adjusting? Thought mine might be afraid of new home when they first arrived but they fit right in. Good luck and many dog kisses to you!
I get the feel of not wanting to keep the pet after its owner dies, but I can't agree with abandoning it. Not after it has lived so long in one home. Pet caring is not for everyone ... The family should have had a friend take the pet in or something.
I volunteer at a humane society in ohio walking dogs giving them time outside the kennels and sitting with them comforting their souls I have to say every word this man spoke is 100 percent true . The most absolute inner joy I get is when a doggie gets adopted and watching them meet and leave with their forever family out the front door. All the dogs I have spent time with which is in the thousands have the most beautiful spirit about them you can't help but fall in love with them . Great job you are doing keep up the awesome work !!! 3:46

@@Espina907 I agree. That's why I don't pay people to kill animals so that I can eat them. If you're not a vegan, you're not in alignment with your values and morals. Keep animals off your plate - go vegan! 🐮🐷😻
They don't know what we're saying it's a common misconception. They heard the tone and piches of our voices along with body language. They don't understand words.
No they don't do either of those. They most certainly don't understand language lmao. They may read emotions the way almost every animal can read emotion through body language. Dog owners and their need to always convince themselves that their dog is like a human lmao. Makes you wonder if they aren't trying to compensate for missing human connection wirh the dog.
It is heartbreaking.. dogs are pure and innocent souls 😢, but i think they need to be shown the truth that their owner is leaving them so they wont wait and looking for them anymore, in hope they can move on and get a new life and love
They are just pleased to have some interaction, some will only get a minute or 2 a day and could spend months in those cages. I worked in a shelter and it was heart breaking looking back, about half the dogs that left their cages were being taken to be put to sleep but were excited thinking they were free.
I adopted my baby boy when he was 2 1/2 years old. The staff at that humane society absolutely lit up with joy when they found out that he was going to his forever home with my husband and I. Then staff then explained that he had been surrendered there twice. First time as a pup from Tennessee and the second time when this old lady had abused, (at the time) her adult daughter’s dog and forced her to give him up after she threw a shoe at him and he snapped his teeth at her as a warning. When I found him in that kennel, he looked like his spirit had been beaten down. He was very timid and shy when he came to the kennel door to greet me. He then sniffed my hand and went back to lay on his cot. However, the moment we brought him out for a private meet and greet he was sooo excited that his whole body was wiggling. He immediately grabbed a toy and started playing with everyone in the room. He stole my heart that day and ultimately, saved my life. I’ve struggled a lot with depression and had just been released after being hospitalized for a week. I knew he needed me to love him and he knew that I needed him as a companion to love me in return. Four years later, we are going on our first family vacation together. I’m so excited as it’ll also be his 6th birthday. I love him more than anything in the world and am grateful for each simple, little moment I have with him. Truly, he’s my best friend. Wish I could share a picture here but I guess it’s his story that counts. So blessed to have him as my baby. ❤❤❤
Lovely story and sort of the same with my kitten Charlie but I must ask did anyone else think “baby boy” meant a real human being for a second at the beginning?
I couldn't watch this without crying...So sad watching the dogs surrendered watching the owners drive off and leave them behind...not knowing why or what they did wrong....But watching them be told they were adopted and going to forever home was so beautiful how happy and excited each one was..What this man does is amazing and heartwarming...God bless him for having such a beautiful heart and showing these dogs so much care and love.
So true;.. a dogs instinct is to loyally serve their family, they are pack animals, and when you get a dog, you introduce them into your pack. If their family doesn’t want them, (they get ousted by the pack) they wonder what they didn’t do that they should have,or what they did wrong (a surrendered dog won’t think that maybe there’s another reason that their family left them)
Heartbreaking for sure. 😢 This man is doing a fabulous job & really cares about the dogs coming thru his shelter. For the few returned he’s there to catch them. Thank you for what you do!
Honestly, that's one of the things that I can be really proud of my country, Poland. All the shelters are no-kill ones and it's very strictly enforced by law. All the best for all animal lovers!

Great to hear! We adopt thousands of dogs to Sweden yearly from shelters in the southern and eastern parts Europe as well as Ireland, but not many from Poland as far as I know. Poland is also rescuing Ukrainian dogs that can then continue for adoption elsewhere, as well as generously caring for the pets of many Ukrainian refugees free of charge, as I have heard from animal welfare groups in the area.
Seeing the dogs watching their owner leaving them behind was heartbreaking. With that camera angle, it was like we were with them, as confuse as they were... I will never leave my dog behind never.
@Fotter No, you're 100% freaking right. People treat children and animals the same way. They want to take care of a cute little baby, but then get pissed at the responsibility of it depending on them or having its own needs the 2nd it grows up. The way we live and the system we live in feeds off of consumerism, and treating everything and everyone like an expendable item on the shelf. A lot of animals are even smarter than most toddlers (not punching down on kids). It's just that a lot of animals instinctually have their own way of life, so putting them in a man-made house, expecting them to live up to human standards while putting them in that situation is ridiculous. A lot of people really have the mindset that everything and everyone exists for their own entertainment and amusement. Trauma be damned.
I will never understand how one can leave an animal behind. You are their world. You are their everything. And they give you all they can. By leaving them, you take everything away from them. You shatter their life. Thank you, Sir, for helping them. You are a great guy and they deserve someone like you after what the other people did.
Not everyone leave their dog because they want to. Some human parents die and no one is able to take care of the dog. Some ages and move into retirement communities.
Some people have to give up pet by choice, it’s not like they want to, it could be down to many reasons, the owner is no longer fit enough to look after the animal, the owner has died, or the owner doesn’t have time to care for the animal, people have lives and our lives come first, I have 2 pet dogs that have been in my family for a very long time, I’ve had them since pups and the oldest is 11, I’ve had multiple pet dogs over the years, and have all died living a happy and peaceful life, as a dog owner losing a pet is like losing a human being from your family or a friend
@@notsureiL Bollocks to that. Obviously no one is blaming suddenly deceased owners but in all other cases, there's simply a lack of will and effort to find a viable solution that surrenders these creatures to trauma and heartbreak. Stop making excuses for the unforgiveable.
What youve said is true, however some people may no longer be able to afford a dog or have enough time to spend with them. While its heartbreaking its still better than mistreating or abandoning your friend
I always remember when my dog got surrendered by his previous owner to us. Given away the 3rd time within 3 years. He was so confused, heartbroken and sad. Hardly ever i have seen so much sadness in a beeings eyes. Within 10 days of fostering him, it was clear to me, he belongs to me. That was 13 years ago. Since then he was with me and he was the best dog ever. My little darling died in my arms a few months ago at the age of 16. i cant express how much i miss him.
When I rescued my dog from the shelter she literally dragged me to my car. She smiled all the way home and was so excited to have a home. It's one of my favourite ever memories.
Bless you. I hope you and your Fur baby have many happy years together. Give him or her pets and scritches for me.I can't have a pet anymore because live in apartment.
@@blueberrydefendersuperb1606 thanks for your kind words. She has lots of love and food. Food is her favourite thing so I'll give her a treat from you.
It is sad to see a dog given up, but it's the responsible choice. If you're not able to take care of your dog and as hard it is, it's the best option for everyone involved.
Except that, here, the pets aren’t adopted that day. It’s the next day - "tomorrow". Animals have no concept of tomorrow. You’re either sending them out with an adoptive family right then and there, or you’re tricking them - and disappointing them - just for the sake of getting clicks on a UA-cam video. Pretty cruel.
@terryv lol, this is an obscenely ignorant and stupid comment. Have you ever even been to a shelter? The main reason those tags are put on is so that others looking for dogs and the staff know the dog is now spoken for. Try either using your brain or learning about something before making wildly idiotic comments.
My dog was found in the desert. She had been dumped and was literally skin and bones. Even when we took her home all her ribs and vertebrae were visible under her coat. She was at the point of going to a foster but we adopted her instead. We’ve had her for 10 years now, she still doesn’t want to get in the car. I think she’s afraid of being dumped again. Once in the car she wants to sit right up on you. That’s a bit difficult as she’s 90 lbs now. Either a Belgian Malinios or a shepherd mix. She’s a adhd dog for sure. Probably whoever dumped her couldn’t handle her enthusiasm for life. She’s living her best life now.
I have worked in a few shelters, and I love it when a dog finds a home! Rescue dogs make great pets! Thank you for all you do, to find homes for these dogs!
When my dog first came into the house, she spent at least 20 minutes like crazy climbing on each of us and licking. They understand and know more than we think.
@@Joshuadalewillis well yes but in most shelters that can be waived or reduced .. they also need to make sure the future owner can afford a dog, and is serious about the adoption and won’t just return the poor soul days later .. and it is a tiny contribution to the costs of keeping these animals
You had a very smart idea by putting it on the internet. For whatever reason social media seems to get it out there and when you tell their stories along with the video it helps people to understand that these dogs need loving homes. Compassion is a rare commodity these days and I'm so glad that there are people like you out there.
"For whatever reason"? You can clearly see the reason, don't you? The people watching this have big hearts for animals and love to see some happy endings. It is very beautiful and heartwarming
@@yourgirlfae I know. but what points decide whether its marketed online? it's all about the alhorithm. more views and comments, a good like/dislike ratio and how much of the video is viewed in average of all views. and where does that come from? right, from the heartwarming content and the caring people watching it. So it is a bit deeper than you saw it

@@kickboxerforever00 it's hard to describe something you don't have the words for and sometimes, you have to take the words that best mean the feelings you are feeling from a source you don't ordinarily agree with. in this case, you're "doing god's work" is a very strong feeling. I don't know how they feel specifically, or what words they would use to describe it, but i know that when i most feel like god exists, is when i see something "magical" or "awe-inspiring" is happening, or if the events remind me of "miracles" or angels, etc. in this man's case in the video, he's making so many animals happy, he's just being his sweet ol' self and these animals lives are being made better for it. it's as if he was "supposed" to be there, it's as if he's where he's needed most and, wouldn't it be nice if god actually cared and had a say in how our world works? that kinda thing. I don't always believe in god, but sometimes, things happen that make you feel things that are hard to describe. things you now need words for and struggle to explain.
I really admire the people who look after these poor pups when they get taken into shelters, I don't think I could emotionally deal with seeing them watch their owners leave, and then I'd get all emotional watching them find their forever home. But honestly people like you restore just the smallest bit of faith that not all humans are monsters!
Yeah tbh if I worked at a shelter I would probably yell at every family who came in and surrendered their pet 🤷♀️ I just am not the type to give up on my family just because it gets a little hard for me. I get it everyone’s life is different and maybe they don’t have the funds to take care of them anymore but it would still be heartbreaking to watch. It’s always been my dream to one day own a huge house with huge land and provide a home for as many animals as possible. 😢 i rescued a cat recently that showed up at my house one night during hurricane Ian in October… and i found his owner he had been missing from her for a year and a half!!! I found her but the saddest part was finally getting her to respond to me and her not wanting him anymore 😭😭😭 it broke my heart. We already had two rescue cats and recently adopted a puppy so it was hard taking in another animal especially when my other two cats don’t get along with each other 😅but we are making it work because he is such a sweetheart such a wonderful cat and he deserves love and a home. I have been trying to find a family that might want him for months but no one is taking me up on it 😢 he wasn’t fixed either but someone did help me and donated some money to get him fixed so that’s what we’re going to do we have an appointment set up for tomorrow morning to finally get him fixed and he might have more offers for homes and if not then he at least will always have a home here❤❤
heart warming. saddest part is when they see their owners leaving surrendering them. but the happy part is, they get to go to a better family. thanks for saving all these very precious souls.
The families/individuals that surrendered/abandoned/abused pets go to, are not necessarily “better” families/individuals imho! It’s too easy to stigmatize/demonize anyone who surrenders or abandons/abuses a pet. The same with children! I agree that for the animal or child, the experience is potentially harmful, hurtful, sometimes permanently damaging. And I think it is absolutely unequivocally unacceptable. But stigmatizing/demonizing has not yet helped to prevent this process. We live in a culture that does not think or act *preventively*! That’s what needs to change. And changing one’s own attitude, one’s own community, culture, is much harder work than simply judging, punishing, and rejecting someone who is an ongoing reflection of the culture.
Surrenders aren't always from bad owners. Sometimes life circumstances simply don't allow for them to keep the dog. It's just as hard on the people surrendering the dog many times.
@@Rowgue51 yeah I'd rather die on the streets with my dog , give it all my food before my self, then give it up. Or pay extra to keep it where I need. But I plan to open a animal shelter in my older years. Just different people. I'm like joe :)
Sometimes you have to. I once talked to one lady when i was walking my dog. She explained to me how she just had to surrender her dog because she got diagnosed terminally ill and didnt have any relatives to look after the dog. She wanted to make the decision early enough, because the worst outcome would be the dog having to watch her die and getting trapped at their home, couldn't risk that. I love dogs. I’m retired and looking into a great shelter like this one to donate my time to love them and find them a forever family. I have two fur babies myself and they are just part of me and my family. God bless.
I'm crying. I had a lovely German Shepherd for 14 years. And I remember the look on his face every time I stepped out. He always wanted to go with me. And when I returned, I always found him waiting outside. I used to see him wagging his tail from a 100-metre distance and he would be all excited and shower me with kisses once I approached him. We had to put him to rest on the vet's suggestion. He was with me from 2003 to 2017. And will remain in my memories until I die.
I lost my best friend Buster in 2017 . Had him since 2005 and you are right we can never forget them . And if there is a Heaven but no Rainbow Bridge then I don't want to go to Heaven .
It's so hard to let them go I've had to let a few fur babies go and it hurts so much but I will always get another because I love them so much ❤️ so sorry for your loss
lost 2 of my dogs (1993-2007, 2002-2012) It took me years to recover and be ready for another dog but I now have a GSD-Malinois cross - is 2 y.o (almost) acts the same way you described. when i park my car he is already in the balcony with his head popping above the wall, crying with little barks of excitement, uncontrollable spins and licks... he has black and gold fur with distinct golden eyebrows which grant him "SUPER PUPPY EYES" making it almost impossible to get fake-angry at him if he does something stupid. i know he will too pass one day - but while i care for him, i know he is happy and i am happy.
The sweetest thing was watching the guy rush to tell the dogs they're getting adopted 🥺🥺 He has such a big heart for every dog and seeing the joy when they get to leave is so heartwarming ❤️
Except that dogs have no concept of the words "on hold" and "tomorrow". Better to wait until the adopters are on-site and ready to take the dog. Getting the dog all excited about finally leaving, just to make a UA-cam video, then crushing his spirit by walking away and leaving him in the cage for the night, is pretty cruel.

Thinking of you... once I was in my recliner i didn't make a sound as I was grieving about something. My dog leaped on my lap and caught a tear from the corner of my eye. I was amazed at her senses and felt better just having her there. 🥺🥲
I adopted a shelter puppy in April and she is my entire world. She has so much love to give and there isn't a soul that's met her that didn't think she was the sweetest dog. She brought my broken, limping shattered heart back to life. She really is my entire world and I miss her anytime I'm not with her. Even stores that aren't dog friendly adore her.
@@kandykane2160 I feel like I should say "thank you" but it's just the truth. My wife walked out on me November of last year literally out of the blue, put down my 12 year old dog, she took the other dog, I lost a medical malpractice suit from six surgeries I needed and was on the brink of death numerous times from the surgeon's mistakes, my wife leaving caused the relationship with my parents to break - I really had nothing else to live for at that point. I have videos on my channel of Cleo and she absolutely saved me. She's nine months old and is 70+ pounds but thinks she's a lap dog, and she climbed on me while typing this. She's my everything. She loves to rough house but has nothing but love in her heart. She's really special.
We have one like that too. A white eight pound ball of fluff that store workers just adore. My wife catches flack if she leaves the dog home instead of bringing it with her.
Cleo sounds like a wonderful dog. It's a miracle how dogs can literally come in and save a person's life. My wife and I wish you and Cleo all the best as you move forward in your life together.
I had to say goodbye to my old girl due to illness last week. Her owner died, and we saw his family basically neglect her after his death. So we took over her care. She brought so much joy to our lives, and I hope we did the same for her. Seeing these Doggos get overcome with excitement at the prospect of a loving home, especially when they've been surrendered to the shelter just broke me, and now I'm recalling all the good times we had with our old girl.
Everyone should volunteer at shelters. It's not that hard. My family and I Foster cats/kittens that need care till they are old enough to leave for their forever homes. More people need to help out, it's pretty simple.
When we adopted our boy, he was on the kill line; man, he was so in love with us.. like right away. He knew he was home when he got here ♡ Oh my eyes are leaking.
Bless this guy. He's there for those poor lonely animals. It breaks my heart to see them stand at that window wondering why their family left them. Animals give us unconditional love and they deserve every bit of it back.
I could never do this to any of my dogs! 😭 Watching their reactions made this grown man cry like a baby it is beyond heart breaking I really have no idea how pet owners could do that to them.
@@redskinlgnd you and me both! My little girl and I fought so hard to stay together and she gave me almost 17 wonderful years before her little body finally gave up the fight. I think having to give her up before she died would have absolutely been the death of me based on how hard it was to say good bye at the end.
😭 thinking about all the unwanted pets sitting alone and wondering "why" they were abandoned or unloved... So sad, because they LOVED the ones who didn't love them back. Their love is unconditional.
I've had my dog almost 14 years, I cannot imagine surrendering him. He would die. However, I'm happy these pups get a 2nd chance at happiness. This was a very emotional video.
What do you all mean "second chance" like those innocent animals were some kind of criminals? The criminals are the guys who got fed up with them animals.
@@Kingsombra21 Then say adoption, say rescue, say take responsibility over, but "second chance" does not presupposes any of the previous, but that they did something wrong and now they are getting some second or last chance not to do it again.
I got miniture foxy from pound the day she was due 2 put down she slept in our bed 4 14 years she luved us we luved her she grew up with our kids unfortunately she passed last week we r still getting over it
Ofcourse they dont know that smh. Stop using human traits in dogs. Thats not how dogs are nor are wired smh. These dogs get so exited cuz of how the guy reacts. Its common sense tho.
I believe if Pavlov’s dog can create saliva with a bell this guy can create excitement with a note. They are very observant. I’m sure they don’t know that means they are going home with someone they met but they know it’s an exciting thing to get and you get to leave after.
Sry but you are really dumb if you think the dog understand what the notes mean. They are just excited that a human is approaching since they are bored in the cages. That or they think they will be fed.
As someone who adopted his dog I can say that and adopted dog is 100 times more grateful and will love you more than a million dollar dog. My dog has been like a sunshine in our house because of how he much loves us so I hope many more people will choose adoption is completely worth it.
This guy is amazing,He really understands the process from a dogs understanding of the situation,I love the rushing to let the dog know its being adopted.such love and devotion he melts my heart.
8 dogs throughout my life and to me they understand EVERYTHING! They know how you feel in so many ways. I've always spoken to them and still do. There are no words that express the joy they bring by simply existing. I smile and my heart melts every single time. I could never imagine life without them. To me, dogs are heaven sent and the greatest blessing.
Whoever said that dogs can't talk never really paid much attention to them. Between the sighs, the pointed looks and the nose pokes, dogs have no trouble letting us know what they want. The best thing is when there is trouble (someone made a mess or something hurts) they will come and find you right away. They know you can "fix it". That's trust.
@@anonydun82fgoog35 You can definitely see they can communicate in some form of language. I have a cat who hangs out with strays, even got a family outside. He trusts me, but his lady did not. At some point he was coming near me and calling the other cats, and it was very clear he was trying to tell his family i was safe. He came to me, called his GF, went to her and pointed at me, came back to me and called her again. She's a stray and didn't trust me anyway, but he made a lot of effort trying to get her comfortable around me.

Even if they don't understand every word, they ALWAYS understand the feelings and emotion....the tone. And they observe us so carefully that they can learn to "read" our expressions and habits....And they use that info to show us compassion and support. It's a beautiful thing....
These things are what other humans are for. Don't you think it's a little SICK to use these helpless fake animals for the purpose? You afraid of real relationships? Need an object of your affections that is under your complete control??
Oh my gosh, those poor doggies watching their owners leave them. So nervous, panting all over the place, you can feel their anxiety . Too heartbreaking for words 💔 Total blessing to have people like this working in shelters to lessen the blow for those gorgeous fur babies.
Read the bible again, see what ist says about animals. Absolute nonsense. This man is a true genuine guy and doesn't need the promise of so called heaven to do good deeds.
nobody just goes to Heaven just because a good deed. you have to be Baptized and saved. Heaven is not a set destination for every dead person😊 way to salvation ♡ You come in to church of Christ, hear the gospel(Romans 10:17), believe the gospel (Romans 1:16), confess the Jesus Christ is the son of God (Romans 10:9-10), repent of your sins and be buried in baptism for the remission of your sins(Acts 2:38) and live faithfully unto death.
I just lost my miracle dog, she was very troubled and fought very hard throughout her life. I truly believe people like him are the closest thing to angels we have.

You can't view everyone who surrenders as heartless because you don't know the full story.
God bless you guys!!.. ❤
God bless you hero! I hope you have a long, lovely adventure together.

So true;.. a dogs instinct is to loyally serve their family, they are pack animals, and when you get a dog, you introduce them into your pack.
If their family doesn’t want them, (they get ousted by the pack) they wonder what they didn’t do that they should have,or what they did wrong

When people condemn other people by saying “you don’t deserve to own a dog” for whatever reason, this is what happens.

The worst part is watching their owners leave… 😔 So happy that you are doing this for those lovely creatures ❤
I know... I'm from the UK and this is brilliant. Sad that some owners give their animal up, our staffy is with us for good, no questions.....
It is sad to see a dog given up, but it's the responsible choice. If you're not able to take care of your dog and as hard it is, it's the best option for everyone involved.
@@eemiltarnanen3319I agree, that responsible choice is the last act of love an owner can give the pet.
Adopted my cat from a shelter. The stars in his eyes when he saw they put the “Yay I’m adopted!” Card on his cage cannot be described with words.
@@terryv Dogs neither understand that "the colort card means I have a new family". They're just happy in the video that someone comes towards them.
God Bless you for saving her.
How lovely Kathleen, that you are giving her the best life.
:'( how can humans be so evil? ty for help her so much.

Job well done Sir..Thank you for caring...
So do rescue cats!
Do you check on the new owners?
So the dogs at the shelter are rejects, and you say they make great pets? Not all of us are stupid.
How do the dogs understand by looking at the paper that they will be adopted?
When my dog first came into the house, she spent at least 20 minutes like crazy climbing on each of us and licking.
They understand and know more than we think.
Absolutely!

@@lisap2405but when its not marketed online less people see it. thats all they meant its not that deep.
@@yourgirlfae I know. but what points decide whether its marketed online? it's all about the alhorithm. more views and comments, a good like/dislike ratio and how much of the video is viewed in average of all views. and where does that come from? right, from the heartwarming content and the caring people watching it. So it is a bit deeper than you saw it
And people get mean saying it's for attention but who cares? Who cares? It's nice to see, and it's cute and fun. It helps balance the negativity.

I have been trying to find a family that might want him for months but no one is taking me up on it 😢 he wasn’t fixed either but someone did help me and donated some money to get him fixed so that’s what we’re going to do we have an appointment set up for tomorrow morning to finally get him fixed and he might have more offers for homes and if not then he at least will always have a home here❤❤
I find myself returning to watch this video repeatedly... May God bless you.
Hello how are you doing
heart warming. saddest part is when they see their owners leaving surrendering them. but the happy part is, they get to go to a better family. thanks for saving all these very precious souls.
😥
Surrenders aren't always from bad owners. Sometimes life circumstances simply don't allow for them to keep the dog. It's just as hard on the people surrendering the dog many times.
@@Rowgue51 yeah I'd rather die on the streets with my dog , give it all my food before my self, then give it up. Or pay extra to keep it where I need. But I plan to open a animal shelter in my older years. Just different people. I'm like joe :)
You have to treat dogs as they are your family. You wouldn't surrender your children because your circumstances change.
Don’t leave your dog. Dogs are so special and we’re all lucky to have such a wonderful addition to the family
She said she will cry about it every day before her death.
Sickness, mental illness, loss of income, change of life situations, most people don't want to leave their dog

8?! The only thing cle to having a pet was a snail
Man I would cry every single day in this job... From sadness and anger when a dog gets abandoned and from happiness when they find a new family 😢
I was crying with absolute joy. These beautiful animals going to their forever home.💗💗
Same
ABSOLUTELY!
This is the most wonderful video I could ever see today on Easter, such joy and love! Happy Easter if you celebrate Easter, and if you don't, Happy Sunday! ❤️ We're all here because we love animals, and anyone who loves animals is my sister or brother, whatever faith you may be, I wish you a wonderful upcoming week! ❤️🐕❤️
Came here to say this….🥰😭
Even if they don't understand every word, they ALWAYS understand the feelings and emotion....the tone. And they observe us so carefully that they can learn to "read" our expressions and habits....And they use that info to show us compassion and support. It's a beautiful thing....
Absolutely. They know our tone, our body language, and they recognize and associate frequent words.
Yesss! Exactly
Qué hermoso comentario. Totalmente correcto y adecuado. 💙🇺🇾
These things are what other humans are for. Don't you think it's a little SICK to use these helpless fake animals for the purpose? You afraid of real relationships? Need an object of your affections that is under your complete control??
So true
Oh my gosh, those poor doggies watching their owners leave them. So nervous, panting all over the place, you can feel their anxiety . Too heartbreaking for words 💔 Total blessing to have people like this working in shelters to lessen the blow for those gorgeous fur babies.
Give the most beautiful Christmas gift, a fur- ever home to a loving fur child.
One day this man will go to heaven without any testings. Just imagine him, meeting all the little pups, who was saved due to His big loving heart 😭❤
Read the bible again, see what ist says about animals. Absolute nonsense.
This man is a true genuine guy and doesn't need the promise of so called heaven to do good deeds.
@@Nuffsed81 Heaven is real and animals do go there. But I agree that this man is genuinely a good person who cares about animals.
@@clydeandfriends what verse?
nobody just goes to Heaven just because a good deed. you have to be Baptized and saved. Heaven is not a set destination for every dead person😊
way to salvation ♡
You come in to church of Christ, hear the gospel(Romans 10:17), believe the gospel (Romans 1:16), confess the Jesus Christ is the son of God (Romans 10:9-10), repent of your sins and be buried in baptism for the remission of your sins(Acts 2:38)
and live faithfully unto death.
@@Nuffsed81 Can you not ruin the moment with your bs. Nobody needs to hear your opinion on the Bible in a wholesome video like this
These are some beautiful dogs. I am 62 years old and I still get teary-eyed watching some of these videos. Thank you for all you do
I vowed to my puppy 7 years ago that he would never see a cage in his life. We're still here. Just the two of us. One big happy family.
I wish all animal shelters had sensitive, compassionate people like this man working for them.
I WISH I COULD HUG THIS GUY ALONG WITH THE DOGS. THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!
We all :)
I just lost my miracle dog, she was very troubled and fought very hard throughout her life. I truly believe people like him are the closest thing to angels we have.
I agree. The vet who helped me send my cat to the rainbow bridge was an angel
I DO NOT CRY....I'M TOUGH....DE-SENSITIZED...I DO ME...DON'T GIVE A PHAARQUE....DON'T CRY......I cried....the sweetest most heart warming vid I've ever seen !!!!
Haha that pun with your name!
So much for being the tough one, eh?
Thank you for doing what you do.
The world needs a guy like this. He's like an angel sent from heaven 👍
