The comment was directed at their cavalier nature in completely abandoning a helpless animal with pups & their disregard in doing so. They could at least have had the decency to bring the dog to a shelter! How exactly is that "creepy"? Talk to anyone who has kids & a dog & they will tell you the dog is part of the family. At least in my world where the people have morals & ethics.

Pride they need to swallow their damn pride and ask for help or take the dogs or whatever animal they can't feed anymore and take care of and do some research & ask for help it's not that hard to do they just need to swallow their damn pride!! Instead of Abandoning them!!! Unfortunately People just don't Care anymore even about each other!!!
