I have every excuse if I want. I work a high stress job that’s 12 hours overnight. I’m 52, I’ve had a triple bypass. I have hypothyroidism and a autoimmune condition.Despite that…
Calorie tracking, prioritizing protein, consistent effort in the gym including some cardio, prioritizing sleep.
Down 125 pounds, 20 pounds to go. All lifts are up.
WOW THIS IS AMAZING!!! Congratulations and keep up the great work :)
Started at 213lbs in December 2023
Currently as of may 2024 at 183
Plan to diet down to 155 and start slowly gaining back up to 180 of lean muscle mass.
Getting to 155lbs i can be lean enough to better visually see my muscles mass progress, but thats just how im approaching my transformation.
Used to be 165, but alcohol pretty much ruined all the progress I've made; however I've snapped out of my drunken stooper. More determined than ever before to get focused/disciplined to get myself back to pre-pandemic body composition.
WOOHOO!!! Great progress dude. The plan is smart.
Keep crushing this. One week at a time. Thanks for watching.

I’m 5’8 and weigh 82.4kg wanting to get down to 73kg, I’m cutting on 1830 calories per day and also train 4-5x per week how many would you say that’s too low in calories? Also how many calories should I be cutting on?
I'm not 100% sure dude. Might be perfect depending on your activity levels.
This calorie calculator will do a much better job of telling you what would work for you:

The boredom is my biggest weakness.
Boredom?
@@MatteoMarra3 Overeating. I've had a little luck with gum, but when I get bored I tend to just go for the snacks.
I have entered my information 3 times in the above link, but I havent received my calculator.

@AcousticWisdom thanks for watching dude :)
@@MatteoMarra3 Absolutely 👍 Would you ever consider doing a video on building your own home gym? I have all the dumbbells I’d ever need, a rower, an elliptical and just a bench. I’d be curious what you think the next best thing to add would be. In sound recording there are things “they” say to have in order of importance I.e. where to spend the most money and where to save. Is there something like that for building a home gym? Maybe, say, if I had $500 or $1000 what would be the best allocation for that money. Thanks 🙏 !! Lastly, my new album coming in the mail today and I’d love to send you a copy just for being an inspiration to my fitness goals. If could let me know where to send it I’ll get one out to you.
@@AcousticWisdom hahahah dude that's awesome please send me an email to matteo@marrastrength.com I'd love to hear it.
If you have space available, a squat rack with a barbell is a really tough thing to beat.
@@MatteoMarra3 i don’t really have the room, at the moment, for a squat rack. Fingers crossed I will soon though. Thanks!!
