- I changed the idle air control valve on my Impala and it made a little bit of a difference. We still have some other things that need to be fixed on the Impala in order to get it to it's optimal performance.

Luv watching you on that 95 ss. i need to start working on my 96 ss. just be working all the time, and i have no personal garage to work on it. keep up the good work. i need to either get my 02 sensors changed or get the flow master exhaust done on it. I'm very inspired by the work you've done.

For future reference to easiest way to remove the idle air control is to just remove the throttle body assembly and then change it while it's off saves you so much trouble!
I thought about going that route I just didn’t want to take the throttle body off at the time
Sounds good to me young homie! These cars are very delicate sort to say! I recently put new engine in mines! Ported aluminum heads, custom cam, stall converter, pretty much everything’s new. Still runs at higher rpm! I just purchased for new fuel injectors to see if that helps! Just taking it step by step. Great video tho

Great video, a quick question would consider a coolant bypass? It would allow you to change the idle air control and the throttle control valve easier by taking the throttle body off,and if we’re thinking about upgrading the throttle body to a bbk 52 mm or a 58 mm much improvement.
I never thought of that but I don’t think I want to change the throttle body.
Bro I need help with my 94 imapala when I turn key it hesitate like half way not a full rotate to start then I have to turn key several times then it starts yet car shakes and shut off after I take my foot off the gas. Ive changed opti spark fuel pump spark plugs and wires and get still having this issue.
That’s a really tough thing to diagnose. I’d say you’d have to go down the line. Make sure the car is getting fuel. If so then is it getting spark, if so is the system charging. It’s a lot of variable that it could be

It came with my windshield when they replaced it. I’m not sure where you’d be able to find it by itself.
You were supposed to cycle the ignition 2 to 3 times before starting to set the pintle on it.
Sounds better,looks like the idle went down some.
I think that fixed it.
But you got a caprice alternator, you got to switch it to the impala ss one the cs144

You have clean the whole throttle body take it off clean everything valve cleaner or gas
I hear you but I don’t think I’m going to go through all of that work
