Cool jacket man! Classic "Heartbeat of America" chevy slogan from late 80's and 90's. It's a must-wear item while taking the SS for a cruise! By the way, did you figure out what the deal was with the driveline vibration?
Yep. My dad had a silverado brand new back in 1993 and he got that jacket. Doesn't fit him any more, so I got it. Not yet on the driveline vibration. I may have screwed up on the driveshaft length, it's supposed to be 3/4 to 1" away from the tail housing, but the damper on the slip yoke is deceptive, so I wound up with 1 1/2 inches. That or it's a U joint acting up, I will figure it out.
The IAC system design in Fords is garbage as well. When my Saleen had its 2-valve motor I went through 6 IAC valves. Cleaning them never worked. Ever. Had to replace them every time. With the current Terminator motor in it I've only had to change the IAC once. Go figure. But I guess the GM version is just as crappy as the Ford. Good idea just ordering a new one and be done with it.
Most IAC valves from this time period are garbage, the worst being Dodge. Pretty sure my issue was the PCV valve not being hooked up, because it's still doing fine.
Great 👍 video
I’m not even mechanically inclined but I love cars and this is educational
Glad you enjoyed it!

@@316Autos Right on brother, you'll get there!
Feedback: try to show what your doing with things like the jump thing
I've actually already made that change. This was technically the first of the new style video, but I uploaded the Tbird one first.
Wouldn't be a problem if it was a Diesel! Lol
Well, you've got me there. Probably would have had to fully box the frame to support a diesel though.
