Love your flosstubes! It's like sitting with friends and makes me so happy. Only complaint is they don't come often enough. Love your top 3 segments, always a favorite.

Wow, any of those Scarlet Letter charts would make me happy. They are all so lovely! I think it's time to go shopping. 😊 You showed so many beautiful things in progress. I'd love to get the Frances Eden chart; glad you mentioned where to find it as it appears to be hard to find online. I also particularly like the MFE piece you have going; I'm thinking it would be a nice thing to work up for my son and his family because it looks like there's plenty of room for all their initials. I'd likely use the same fabric, Platinum, but change the thread color to something a bit more blue although a dark gold might also be an interesting choice. Have to see what's at my local shop (In Stitches, Alexandria, VA).
I will check out the stitching camp. I couldn't come but if there's a Zoom/Skype capability, it would definitely be a lot of fun for me.
The little Summer Stitch Works kit for friends is adorable. If I don't happen to be selected, I'll go look online for it.
I have a question for you. How do you keep straight which thing you are working on and when? Is it just a question of making notes in your book/calendar? I have three things I'm working on downstairs to work on while watching or listening to TV programming and two upstairs by the computer so I have assorted podcasts on while I work (I keep a Lint-Pick close by. 🤣). My stitching time is often broken up by my kitty wanting to "help" by rubbing her face on my hoop or trying to grab my thread. She's especially fond of silk floss so I only work those pieces at nap time. Yeah, like having a little kid sometimes but she's wonderful company and a good kitty otherwise. Curtains and furniture remain unclawed; faithful to the litterbox; and not overly fussy about food--she just loves my needlework or stuff in the sewing room.

Hi Sandy! I keep my current things I'm working on in the ottoman in front of my stitching chair. I switch out the WIP's each quarter. I do also keep track in my calendar. My daughter is the postal station manager in a large city. She’s had two mail carriers since Christmas robbed at gun point for their keys, both in low crime areas of town. It’s evidently a new problem. It’s horrifying for the carriers and neither have returned to work because of therapy and PTSD. She sends out employees everyday to do a public service and who would have thought she would have to be concerned for their safety at this level. It would never have occurred to most of us that this would be a thing. I was shocked when I called her that day, I felt so sorry for her and more so the carrier. I never thought that what you went through was a thing either. I’m sorry you and your suppliers had to go through it. I just assumed they stole checks and tried to check them. Thank you for educating all of us as to what can happen through the internet and technology.
Oh my goodness - how awful for those carriers. I can't even imagine. It's frightening what lengths people go to to steal. 😞
I have very few things that I send a check through the mail anymore. This makes me determined to get those switched as well. Thank you both for this info!

The Scarlett Thread has so many wonderful samplers. I wish I could stitch them all; there's not a one that I wouldn't love to do. I prefer the older samplers and there is a fantastic selection on the site. I have a penchant for choosing larger pieces and then become frustrated seeing the smaller ones pile up. I should make a schedule like Carol, the Saltbox Stitcher, who works the piece highest on her schedule on Mon through Fri; then Saturday is smalls and Sunday is a large piece like "His Eye is on the Sparrow." That way everything gets attention. She also works on things seasonally so if a patriotic piece isn't completed during the season, she tucks it away until next when it is likely completed. I think I need to stitch up some project bags. (Yes, I sew, knit, embroider, crochet, quilt; if it has to do with thread or yarn, I'm in. LOL) I've seen some nifty patterns online that are a bit better for organization than the one big pouch for everything so I don't lose my scissors, etc. to a morass on the bottom.
It is amazing how I've never met any flosstubet that I watch but I feel like you are all my friends. And that makes me so happy. ❤❤❤😊

The Sarah Milthorp finish is beautiful and so meaningful. I am always looking for easy , quick and yummy recipes. But unfortunately my husband is very picky. I do like Ina Garden’s recipes. Oh I love the puzzle you choose. Friends make me happy and joyful.

Our local post office Drop Box was broken into and checks erased and overwritten also.
Not mine thankfully.
Thank you for the PSA. A few years back,my contractor told me that the mailbox outside of the PO was broken into and people were washing the checks and cashing them. Turns out that it was an employee who had given her keys to her boyfriend who was involved in some nefarious things. Ever since I no longer put checks in the mail unless I walk the envelope into the postal office during working hours. Go figure. Thanks again for a great inspiring video!

MISS SUZY! One of my favorite children's books of all time; I still have the copy that belonged to my brother and I from the late 60's! I will never part with it. Love seeing all your beautiful stitching.

Another great floss tube. Love all the finishes and WIPs and plans. I too love stitching Quakers and I couldn’t really figure out why I was so drawn to them. But you hit it on the head that it’s like a mini finish when you get a motif done. I love how you changed Summer Quaker to your own colors. I admit when it came out, it was my least favorite because of the yellow color theme. Now I’m inspired to stitch it either in another color or multiple colors as you did. Love the puzzles. I will have to check them out for future gifts for my son-in-law who enjoys puzzles! He's a hard one to shop for.

It is always a pleasure to see you, lucky we have not had any thefts so far, its a shame that there are evil people out there, I still have many old cross stitch magazines, it is fun to see the chair done for the Reagans, love the pillow and the bright color threads. Love Hazel so cute, the Owl is amazing, I will have to look for that magazine and read the article, the design for your Dad is beautiful, I like the fact that the two houses are different but red, I love all of Tammy Blacks designs, Scattered Seeds has so many lovely designs.

I loved the patterns you showed from The Scarlett Letter. I don't stitch many samplers, but I do find them stunning to look at because of the stitching made by these young girls, and I so enjoy reading the history behind them. I'm happy so many of them survived all these years for us to enjoy, and that we have knowledgeable friends in the needlework industry who can enlighten us with the history and techniques of these beautiful pieces! You always amaze me with your Three Great Things section 😂. You always find such great things! I don't know how you keep up! Thanks for another enjoyable visit with you!
