Its good to hear you're giving Yoshi's Island another chance! Personally its one of my favorite snes games of all time since I was a kid! From the level design to the music and gameplay and the boss fights are great! The only annoying thing is baby Mario of course but I got over that pretty quickly. Its the very first game I ever beat as a kid so it has a special place in my heart
@NerdLife84 Yeah, I am really glad I went back to it because I have been enjoying it and discovering what people enjoyed about the game. I can see how it was considered to be such a special game to people.
You're playing Ghost of Tsushima! Awesome! If you're not crazy about stealth, there are only a handful of story missions throughout the game that require it. Otherwise you're free to just walk into a camp of bad guys, call them out, and start cutting them down. There are skills and armor sets to enhance whichever playstyle you want to use.
Like a Dragon only has one real difficulty spike, no spoilers, but for a Yakuza series fan, it's also one of the most awesome parts in the game. I'm not going to spoil that here, but keep grinding and you'll be rewarded, I promise. Oh, Ghost of Tshushima, you're finally playing, yass! Yup a 10/10 👍 The Switch Remake of Super Mario RPG is exactly how to do a remake 👍
Yea I am getting back into yakuza like a dragon. I loved the story I am just trying to adjust to knowing that certain weapons will make some bosses easier
I started Like a Dragon but...life interrupted that pretty fast. From the short time I put in, I think I'd really like to get back into and would enjoy it if I did. Super Mario RPG on Switch was excellent. I'm a day one fan of the original, but I enjoyed the revisit to this game and the quality of life improvements and really hope it opened the door to many, MANY new fans.
Yakuza Like a Dragon is one of my top games of all time, there are so many wtf moments and times I’m full out lmao. Stick with it, it gets better. Ghost of Tsushima is pure perfection I played it on a PS4 pro and that was just fine for me. Another all-time great.
I have restarted it I'm hopes of getting back Into it. I love the game but some of the difficulty spikes often due to needing the correct weapon is just am adjustment for me
I love Ghost of Tsushima - I thought it had great characters, great story, satisfying gameplay, fun combat. I played it on ps5 and it was beautiful, I haven't played it on ps4 so not sure how different it is. But one good thing about the ps5 edition if you get the upgrade, it makes quite good use of the haptic feedback on the dualsense controller!
Please dont give up on Like a Dragon Sam. Its so good! Take your time, get your weapons and skills right and you should be good to go. There are so many wonderful quirky things that happen randomly. There arent any other game out there like it! Then when you finally finish you have Infinite Wealth to play! Dont jump straight to this, you will appreciate the characters and story A LOT more if you finish Like a Dragon first!
For Yakuza I recommened finishing Like a Dragon the story is amazing. Just do all the side quest for your team memebers and finish the quest for the phone a friend those 2 will be more than enough to finish the game. Especially the phone a friend as they can deal good side effects. Also experiment switching classes for your party
@wangchung2157 Yeah, I don't think i would feel right trying to play the second one without completing the first one, so I'm gonna go ahead and try to replay through it. I will just have to be more strategic and definitely utilize more of the features.
Watch a UA-cam tutorial on the Like a Dragon business mini game. The game doesn’t explain the mechanics of it very well. Once you get good at it, money will be no issue and you will have an awesome new skill.
If you're looking for a straight forward retro RPG I'd suggest looking into Illusion of Gaia. Great music. Good story. And it's real time battle instead of turn based.
@@WavesNGames I will definitely have to keep that in mind. I usually like playing my games physically, but depending on the price of the game, maybe it will have to be an emulated title.
I haven't played any of these LOL. I do really want to get to ghosts of tsushima at some point, but being that I'm playing a big game right now I don't know when that will be. I'd say if you haven't played a Kirby game, give that a whirl for retro or if you really want to hate your life, play adventure Island 😂
Yeah you might consider skipping like a dragon and go straight to infinite wealth. That’s what I did. You play most of the game in Hawaii and the doku doku island stuff is amazing and you would love it if you liked animal crossing. Mario RPG is great too I really enjoyed that one. Mario RPG won’t take you too long to get through maybe 20 hours or less.
@The_Garage_Gamer Well, the reason the play through came about again was because the second one was on sale, so I do own it now, but I would really like to play through the first one.
Ok so Yoshi's Island is one of my favourite games of all time, I have never been bothered by the crying. I found Super Mario RPG to be more for children than adults. Currently playing Quake (N64), Turok: Evolution (GC), and the e-reader levels on Super Mario Bros. 3 (Wii U). I like your gaming channel, thanks!

@KyleS.1987 yup finally took the dive although the start has been slow downloading the updates just to move over to the ps5 and update again lol
