I've seen and heard about your story. Keep on fighting, I wish you well! Nice to see you wear a Dimmu Borgir t-shirt on this picture, norwegien/swedish black metal!
Just watched the documentary "Heavy Metal in Baghdad" and it's very compelling. All these guys wanna do is play metal and rock...NICE to see they've come soo far. If you get the chance WATCH THE DOCUMENTARY!! Their story will beat out ANY other metal bands story of hardships. These guys are TRUE metal heads!! WTG guys, "Welcome" to the mainstream of metal!!
These guys like slipknot in the documentary they wore slipknot shirts off and on, who cares, there are so many subgenres of everything. Metal is metal, it is all good you just sometimes have shitty bands. Slipknot is not shitty they do work hard to get were they have gotten, yes these guys had nothing but come on it doesn't matter as long as you work hard for it. These guys rock as does Slipknot just end it.

A good one. I like the guitar part of this song. But I think vocals needs some work. It would be great to hear this sung with the strong vibrato. It would have sounded great. I hope that, because they are living in America now, they will work on their sikills. And people will love them not because they are Iraqui, but because they are a great band. After all they konow what metal is all about :)
i KNOW that people have different musical tastes and i could probably name a couple hundred bands all across the world who u havent heard of and I also know for a fact this isnt the only iraqi metal band 1.because i know my music, and 2.because i just finished research on middle eastern culture mainly in iraq but anyways i was just saying this band is great im not knocking em and thank god they're getting recognized but what about the others who diserve it?
why is it always americans that comes with this kind of questions??1. If im not mistaken this band is from IRAQ and as far as i know the only iraqi metal band. 2. this band is good. so people hear it once because they are from iraq, and the like so they contuine to hear it. About the other bands that "blow em away" just maybe not eveyone in this world got the same musik taste like you? personally i think this is way better then most danish and american metal
plus why compare this to metal from america or denmark or any country for that matter im just saying take your own advice and cosider the fact that you and i may not have identical music taste so bashing me or getting mad isnt going to fix anything because if you could learn how to read you'd realize we both like this band
"You can DEFINATLY hear their 80's metal influence in the lead vocals and the rest of the band as well." @Carnage251- "TY for uploading them I think they will make it as long as they don't become commercialized to the point they lose their purity of music that they clearly have."
These guys are brimming with potential! I hope they can get in a better studio and stuff. Their sound is a bit rough now, but I still like them a lot better than a lot of bigger name bands...thank God they didn't go for the damn "cookie monster" vocals and at least are trying to sing!
Im sure you have watched their documentary. With that in mind its with such limits on what they could do. Do you think there would be as many heavy metal bands if people were inclined to shoot you for playing it. Heck their practice space got hit by a damn missile!
Well, when you don't know the band's name its quite hard. The only thing i could remember about them was that they did a song called "song for saddam", so yeah...it was actually pretty hard to find them, especially as it took me a while to actually remember the exact name of that song.
im not knocking these guys but whats up with the hype? i mean sure they're good and still underatted but ive heard of tons of very VERY good bands that blow em away all around the world that nobody has ever heard of. i just dont see the sudden hype
wow guys... I just knew about u from the photo with metallica... u r amazing !!!!! it's so 80s... which I totally love... hey why don't u try doing it in arabic.. I think it would be cool....Please ^^ \m/
very good new band, i prefer the song message from baghdad which is fantastic, i think their experimenting different type of influences they have, and i like the song stated above, heavier and one good solo!
If you read wikipedia, it sais that they really arent the 1st Iraq metal band. That there has been a scene for a while. They are hyped because of that Metallica video. But i why hate them ? Theyre cool.
Much love and respect to these guys. If they ever attain a US visa, they can come live at my house. Considering their roots, they are a miracle. I can see them opening for Lamb of God or Slayer.
Excellent classic metal influenced tune! Fans of this band should also check out a feature documentary about them called Heavy Metal in Baghdad, released in 2007. I'm still hoping they make it big!
these guys have opened a new door on middle eastern metal.there's lots of other middle eastern metal bands but Acrassicauda are the best I've heard. \m/ horns from the Middle East!!!
Solid shit, man. I hope they get a full album going, because even if it's more Metallica/Maiden-ish stuff like this it'd be worth listening to in a sea of melodeath and -core.
whats really stupid is Itunes has the movie about these guys, but none of their music, cause i think it would sell alot, especially if they made this the free single of the week
@sethiroph08 "I agree w/ ya. But.......slipknot is way more financially better off than probably any of us here. I just hope that Acrassicauda are as successful as well."
true man i totally agree but these guys are a little bit influenced from slipknot they said it themselves apart from that i personally think that slipknot is shit metal
@sethiroph08 i actually like slipknot but these guys are way better because they risked their lives playing heavy metal and that is what a true metal band is
@sethiroph08 ya know i think the problem with most nu metal bands is that when they make a bad album it's shitty as hell and then people turn on the band
The rawness of this record coupled with the purity of their expression, not only in style, but in their hearts, is what makes this in fact one of the greatest metal songs of all time.
These guys are fucking awesome considering where they're from: culturally, socially etc. Someone out there in record producing land needs to keep these guys together and launch them proper. It will be a disgrace if they go unsigned and un-promoted. Acrassicauda - If any of you guys read this then Rock On Brothers! Big Respect.
I hope this song will be on their debut album. This is my favorite Acrassicauda song off the demo. If they remake this one as they did Message from Baghdad and Massacre(the ep versions are WAY better than the demo and HMIB versions!).
I LOVED to see the Sepultura t-shirt in the picture! I'm Brazilian and used to think the heavy metal bands situation in my country was difficult. After seeing the "Heavy Metal in Bagdah" documentary, I started respect a lot this guys!!! Keep the great work!
@ImTheRealJesus777 dirpy.com, just cut/paste the youtube url in and it'll mp3 it 4 ya. I'd recommend just buying their songs though, they're better quality and that way you're helping the band!
These guys are amazing. When i saw Heavy Metal in Baghdad i fell in love with their music
No bomb has yet destroyed metal, only feuled it. Keep up the good work.
I can totally hear the iron maiden influence in this
the hidden gems of METAL!!!
much respect guys, extremely happy for u
Their bass player is wearing a SEPULTURA t-shirt ! Cool!
One of the Best Metal songs ever made. Still listening to it after all these years. It's fucking awesome. \m/
now this is what i cal metal finally pure raw thrash metal . m proud to be a part of dis generation finally
This is absolutely the best song of Acrassicauda=)
I've seen and heard about your story. Keep on fighting, I wish you well! Nice to see you wear a Dimmu Borgir t-shirt on this picture, norwegien/swedish black metal!
Any tabs for this song ?
METAL LIVES ON !!!!!!

when the band is finally settled in and comfortable, i say make a movie on theyre ordeal of struggle!
@sethiroph08 i actually like slipknot but these guys are way better because they risked their lives playing heavy metal and that is what a true metal band is
@ConsidrMEnemo Slipknot has producers and stellar equipment these guys recorded this on a budget that Im not sure you can even consider shoe string.
If these guys haven't set into one genre yet, please, PLEASE stick to this, or choose power metal (i consider this song to be more heavy metal)
They wouldn't sound like "any" metal band. They'd be amazing if they had a proper studio to record in!
There's some great riffs going on here!
this is their older shit, the newer stuff they've been working since being in turkey is complete fuckin metal. they totally sound like Sepultura.
Big Respect.
hopefully this song will get on the LP. It really needs to be recorded in better sound quality. This doesn't do the tune justice.
well done them for surviving. if you read abou all the shit tey had to go through nto even still be alive, it will fucking stun you
Havent heard their new stuff. But old stuff has HEAVY Iron Maiden influences. I hope it hasent changed much >.> This is good.
I hope this song will be on their debut album. This is my favorite Acrassicauda song off the demo. If they remake this one as they did Message from Baghdad and Massacre(the ep versions are WAY better than the demo and HMIB versions!).

i saw that too. it was cool. and sad. but its amazing how they are so determined with music when their homeland is in havoc
@LyricisteN Yes! And they're in the US now, they're coming to my town in a couple weeks, gonna rock the F*ck out! \m/
@ImTheRealJesus777 dirpy.com, just cut/paste the youtube url in and it'll mp3 it 4 ya. I'd recommend just buying their songs though, they're better quality and that way you're helping the band!
they should re master this song... its 1 of the ones i would like to hear in better quality it would fkn kick ass
When I heard this song... I just remembered Bruce Dickinson and Iron Maiden.... (with no comparison what so ever)
I hear tell that Dave Mustaine coined the term "cookie monster vocals"
I do hope this band makes it big.
this is the best fucking documenatry of them i feel so bad for them they're are the most fucking cool guys ever
i'm glad they made it to the U.S. i saw the documentary about their band last night and i felt so bad.
Respect!
This could be an Iron Maiden song,
Iron Maiden must cover this!
Just to show their respect!
@MasterOfPuppets762 when i first heard the first intro riff and the yell....i thought the same thing
wonder if those guys will ever knew someone in puerto rico is listening their songs! lol well i do!
Oh shit this song would be soo good if they had a better drum kit and recorded it in a better studio
These guys fucking lived thru shit, you would see on tv and heard thru slayer lyrics!! I t come to show the heavy metal spirit still lives!!
kickass they should deserve a record deal and it will be if they opem up for any heavy metal band
I'm pretty impressed that there actually is an Iraqi metal band... There not exactly bad either.
fucking awesome, too bad you guys didnt play in Canada, more specific, Edmonton.. we love metal.
@maqboolahmed007 have you seen the documentary? Half the band members wear slipknot T-shirts.

I like it! I really hope they become big in the United States or really anywhere in the world!
Keep up the good work, dudes

These guys are fucking awesome! This song is excellent...
serious shit man!!!
you can tell which band or person was part of their musical influence
Reminds me a little of Juarez, by GasHead - look it up!!
No bomb has yet destroyed metal, only feuled it. Keep up the good work.
Reminds me of classic Iron Maiden and that's a good thing
One of those riffs reminds me of Where Eagles Dare by Iron Maiden.

I'd definately buy it. This band deserves any support it can get!

Awesome.
This song is badass! Long live rock'n roll!
Viva la vida!
