Guy went to school with Graham Joseph, my best mate in Hong Kong. This was a joy to watch. Snatch is one of the most entertaining and memorable movies of all time.
Guy Ritchie is a great director. Definitely one of the original classics.
One of the best movies and soundtracks ever !
I agree. I'm tempted to watch it now
"No Tommy, zee Germans..." get's me every time.
"Why is there a gun in your trousers Tommy...??"
What makes it such a great line is how funny it was because it was so lame. It's a quip from a 12 year old. Statom's delivery? My son drops it on me about twice a year, cracks me up every time.
Reminds me of growing up in UK,this movie is totally my childhood
I still use that
Fun Fact: In the german dubbed version, it‘s always replaced by „the bad man“ (der böse Mann). They seem to not had much trust in our self irony 😂😂
I absolutely love this movie! It's a classic and I can watch it over and over again. Guy Ritchie is a genius and Brad Pitt's performance is incredible. Snatch is a timeless movie that will never get old.
Policeman: What's in the Car
Turkish: Seats and Steering Wheel

To this day I didn't find any other movie that is similar to Snatch. This movie is the definition of masterpiece.

as much as i would love to see more stories about all these characters, i'm glad he didn't make more movies about them. this film is a classic and it's a joy to watch. leaving it as it is, untouched, makes it even better.
This was, and still is the peak of British gangster films. Wish Guy would make more like this and Lock, Stock, such amazing movies.

@@StephNuggs The Gentlemen was a 10/10 movie, idk what you're on about
Dont forget Layer Cake, the best Guy Richie movie that wasn't a Guy Richie film
Don’t know why this popped up in my feed, but I’m glad it did.
Guy went to school with Graham Joseph, my best mate in Hong Kong. We popped back to London in the early 90's and ended up in an office in Soho watching the showreel used to sell Lock Stock to Polygram...Graham brought that showreel back to HK, but it went missing after he showed it to a few people he thought might be interested in financing it...Graham sadly passed away in 2000. Possibly the saddest day ever losing a mate. He told me so many stories about him and Guy and their school holiday exploits and that one day Guy would be making a movie about all his mates...Guy would tell you that GJ The G-Force would be the dude growing and selling weed from within the fortress...I actually fitted heavy duty grilles on his flat in Hollywood road...such awesome memories flooding back typing this...
Thanks for the good times that I'll never forget every time I watch either movie...timeless classics...
Then there's my mate Alan Ford but that another story...him and his Gout...🤜💥🤛 🍊
How and why, did Brad Pitt never get an Oscar for his protrayal of Mickey?? This has to be the best interpretation of an Irish traveller, accent and personality, that I have ever seen!! What an absolute astounding talent!!
Yeah I never understood the hate, He speaks the Exact same as the ones in my town in Scotland now
Do you really have to ask? 😉
Even though Brads interpretation of the Mikey was absolutely mind-blowing (and definiteôy deserved the Oscar!), it didn't meet the "tacit" criteria of: the uppish "Academy". Although at those times, the Academy decision were not SOLELY driven by feminism, genderism and "racial b..l,s.!t", the "Snatch" movie still irritated them by showing new methods, having balls and joke.
In other words - "THE" 3 things the "glorious Academy" actually hates like pest. 😄

Brilliant! I watch it at least once a year and it just gets better every time. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Ritchie and most of the crew not long after the release of Snatch and I have to say it was a few of the best days of my life. Hope you can make "thinking man" scripts, intelligent Rubix cube type mysterious screen play puzzles, that the audience becomes engaged in the plot and characters as Snatch did so effectively.
