I found out about your band when I saw the movie documentary Heavy Metal in Iraq. I have your first album! Only the dead see the end of war. I LOVE IT!!!
I actually stumbled across you guys while I was stationed in Baghdad in 2007 by accident. I was amazed, impressed, inspired, and motivated by your music. I have nothing but the utmost respect for you guys! Stay Metal!
A close friend of mine fled from Baghdad...with the stories she told me of the lack of electricity and all, it must've been more a less a miracle that this band was able to rehearse *with* the amps on! Rock on, you guys...you are definitely true ravens of peace:-D
it's true that there's too many clear influences on their sound but i respect them because of their struggle, i can imagine from which kind of situation they kept going their music and emerged.... respect from Bangladesh..
I just have to say to the thumbs downers, you have not nor will you ever live the life of these men! this is real war bread metal. they put their lives and family lives on the line for what they love? and the hardest part of your day was getting out of bed?
This song is my favorite from the few I know of Acrassicauda. Fan from Mexico City, their story is amazing, I knew it all in "Heavy Metal In Baghdad" rockumentary. Is surreal the way they lived and how they ended playing Heavy Metal
+mus6afa Nice to hear it! And yea it's true, here in Finland we have many great metal bands and great metal scene. \m/ Still my opinion is that best band ever come from Iraq.. ;) Acrassicauda's music is just sooo damn awesome! Anyway, you have to come visit here in Finland sometimes, if you have not done it yet. :)
Never heard of these guys until I watched the documentary last weekend. Wow! Much respect to them! and the music is awesome! I wish these guys and their families the best!
The doc. was the shit, man! I have played metal for years, and have not learned what these guys, learned! They have taught me alot! A truly idealistic band, to say the least! And to think, I have fought there, and learned nothing! The, true meaning of the word,, Respect!
Damn, these guys studied their Metallica, Megadeth & Slayer really well. I hear splashes of each in their riffs, but there's an underlying intensity you can't just fashion from a board room full of songwriters. I hope these guys stay with it. They're really good.
WOW Excellent Music I will go to Itunes to check it out your other cd's.Your music is very complicated on the rithm, polirithm and structure changes. Great work you have a new fan here. I found you for a youtuber that was presenting excellent bands from the middle east. Your story is incredible as your music. I as guitarplayer and composer can Imagine the lots of fun you have on each composition you do. The songs from you I love more are the ones that have the sound of your country on the instruments and in the vocals you rock!!!.
